This paper determines the implementation of total productive maintenance (TPM) at a pharmaceutical manufacturing company in the Philippines. It also assesses the significance of TPM practices from the viewpoint of employees involved in production. A total of 44 employees participated in the survey. The data gathered were analyzed using Microsoft Excel 2019 Data analysis. The extent of TPM implementation was ranked by the value of the weighted mean, the practices that had the higher weighted average, implemented to a great extent. The significance of TPM practices was tested with the aid of a t-test statistical tool at a hypothesized mean of 2.5. The findings revealed that the manufacturing company implemented TPM practices to a high extent to maintain integrity and improve production quality by reducing downtime through preventive maintenance, technology assessment and usage, and employee involvement in maintaining their equipment. The results also indicated the significance of TPM practices in improving a company’s production quality. The results of the study provide guidance and references to improve maintenance procedures and improve productivity.

Individual differences are considered one of the main factors in language learning. This article begins by presenting the definition of individual differences and identifying the possible individual differences that may affect the L2 learning process are. Based on the literature review, shows that there are eight (8) major individual differences to be found as salient features in the L2 learning process. A brief overview of these eight (8) individual differences is provided, supported by the literature review of 20 journal articles. This journal article used grounded theory design as a method in identifying the relationship of the following individual differences in the L2 learning process. According to the results, although there is a growth in the study of individual differences that affects the L2 learning process, there is still much work to be done and much more investigation is required.

This paper examined the online presence of the health authorities and hospitals in the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the available online health services in this country. The study looked at the web presence of health authorities and then searched for the websites of hospitals in UAE using different sources. We calculated the number and percentages of hospitals that have online presence. Then we visited the website of each hospital to check if they offer online health services. Thus we were able to present quantitative findings of the extent of the web presence of health authorities, government and private hospitals, and also the types of online health services available in this country. We found that out of the 7 Emirates, only 2 have health authorities with online services and only 4 Emirates have hospitals that offer online health services. The online health services available in UAE are: Make an Inquiry, Book an Appointment, Find a Doctor and Ask a Doctor. We also provide at the end of this paper, the complete list of all hospitals in the UAE with an online presence with their website links since this information was not present collectively anywhere.

Computer prices and performance have undergone radical changes in the last decade. Prior to 1970, a student's only exercise of his programming expertise was, by default, on the University Behemoth. The early appearance of programmable calculators gave the student a powerful and portable personal tool at an affordable price, at the expense of shortening memory to the point where only short routines could be run or only a few data points could be manipulated. Microcomputers stepped in to fill the need for a moderately powerful computer with a medium sized data base. In some cases, microcomputers can provide a data base comparable to the pre-1970 mainframes with current prices in the d500 to d5000 range. With the number of small computer suppliers in the hundreds, a bewildering array of products is available to the student with personal data processing needs. Most of the widely distributed microcomputer systems are reviewed, as are some of the more common standalone terminals.Microcomputer hardware systems and their software, teleprocessing equipment, electronic mail, and other services currently marketed to the personal computerist are examined from a student user's point of view.
