Pose-controlled human video generation is of significant interest and finds extensive applications in areas such as automated advertising and content creation on social media platforms. While existing methods employing pose sequences and reference images for human image animation have exhibited notable performance, they tend to encounter issues such as specific region blurring, background sharpening, and decreased identity consistency. In this paper, we introduce ReMask-Animate, which utilizes masks as additional priors to guide the model's local visual attention to specific areas, thereby alleviating feature confusion between different regions of the image. Three distinct mask-guided adapters are designed for cross-condition regional fusion of hand and face pose features, mitigating feature confusion between the foreground and background, and enhancing the visual consistency of character identity. Moreover, these lightweight adapters introduce minimal computational overhead and can be seamlessly integrated into specific layers of the backbone architecture. Extensive experiments show that our method outperforms state-of-the-art methods on five metrics in public datasets. Additionally, qualitative evaluations highlight a significant improvement in the quality of generated videos, demonstrating our approach's superiority.

In this article we will focus on some words of French origin which were once encountered in the Romanian language, but which are no longer in use nowadays. These words are considered lexical archaisms, as they designate different aspects of reality which have disappeared. In this article we will talk about some words that belong to the military field

The extension of the use of such repairs to primary structural components requires a reliable method of determining the fatigue life of the bonded repairs immediately after installation, and at selected inspection intervals during the service life. It is also possible that continuous monitoring of the integrity of bonded repairs will be required throughout the service life for bonded repairs on flight-critical components. This work describes a series of bonded joint static and cyclic loading tests which are continuously monitored to failure using acoustic emission. The test results provide the basis and justification for future feasibility testing of acoustic emission monitoring on full-scale structures and on operational aircraft. Test results involving both metal-metal and metal-composite joints bonded using FM-73(M) adhesive are reported. It is shown that acoustic emission monitoring can be used to provide early warning of the premature failure of statically loaded or cyclically loaded bonded joints when the failure is due to inadequate surface preparation, adhesive undercure or the internal degradation of composite patches.

Indirect real estate (IRE) returns are often shown to lead direct real estate (DRE) returns. Apart from differences in liquidity, transaction costs, and management skills, the DRE market is also less complete than the IRE market—when negative shocks arrive, one can only short IRE (e.g., real estate stocks or REITs), but not DRE. This study investigates if short sales in the IRE market convey any information to the DRE market. Based on high‐frequency (weekly) property price data in Hong Kong from 2000 to 2012, we find that short sales in the IRE market led DRE returns, even after controlling for the lagged IRE returns in a VAR model. This supports an information spillover mechanism in which the DRE market learns private information that is not reflected in IRE returns. The spillover effect, however, weakened after the recent global financial crisis because the increased uncertainty over the credibility of individual firms made short sales more reflective of firm‐specific information than real estate market fundamentals.
