With the development of Internet technology and big data, digital transformation has become the only way for enterprises to achieve sustainable development. As one of China's leading manufacturing companies, Midea Group is transforming into a technology-driven platform. This study explores Midea Group's path to digital transformation, focusing on the challenges of dealing with digital integration, organizational restructuring, and data security during Midea Group's transformation process. This study adopts a case study approach to systematically examine Midea Group's strategic restructuring, technological integration, and management innovation. The findings suggest that although Midea Group has successfully enhanced its digital capabilities and expanded its global reach through targeted acquisitions and ecosystem building, it still faces challenges in technology operability, internal communication efficiency, and data protection. This study emphasizes that continuous innovation, agile management of change, and comprehensive data governance are critical to the sustainability of digital transformation. This study provides theoretical and practical insights for other manufacturing firms undergoing similar transformations and committed to smart manufacturing and enhancing global competitiveness.

Objective: To investigate the morphological changes and immunophenotypic characteristics of eosinophilic coarse granules in the cytoplasm of epithelial cells of breast adenosis, and their clinicopathological significance. Methods: A total of 64 cases containing eosinophilic coarse granules in the cytoplasm of breast epithelial cells admitted to the Department of Pathology of the Seventh Medical Center of People's Liberation Army General Hospital and the Department of Pathology of Shandong Provincial Maternal and Child Health Care Hospital Affiliated to Qingdao University for admission and consultation from December 2019 to August 2023 were collected. The distribution and morphological characteristics of eosinophilic coarse granules in the epithelial cytoplasm in 64 cases of breast adenosis were observed. Some cases underwent immunohistochemical staining of lysozyme, α-antitrypsin, α-antichymotrypsin, cathepsin D, EMA, panCK, ER, PR, AR, GCDFP-15, Syn, CgA, NSE, CD68, S-100, anti-mitochondrial antibody, p63, and SMA; and some cases were stained with mucicarmine, and AB-PAS histochemical staining before and after amylase digestion. Results: The eosinophilic coarse granules in the breast epithelial cytoplasm of 64 cases were seen accidentally, of which most (43 cases) were located in adenosis adjacent to the intraductal papilloma. By HE sections, eosinophilic coarse granules were found with diffuse distribution in the cytoplasm, which were round in varying sizes, pink-bright red, and with a certain degree of refractivity. The size of the coarse granules could be divided into three types: small, medium and large. The medium to large granules were more prominent in the lesions. The eosinophilic coarse granules were all positive for lysozyme, α-antitrypsin, α-antichymotrypsin, cathepsin D, EMA and S-100. ER and PR were all nonclonal positive in glandular epithelial cells. Histochemical stains for PAS were all positive before and after digestion of amylase. AR, GCDFP-15, Syn, CgA, NSE, CD68 and anti-mitochondrial antibodies were all negative; mucicarmine and AB staining were also negative. Conclusions: The morphological characteristics and immunophenotype of cytoplasmic eosinophilic coarse granules in the epithelial cells of breast adenosis are the same as those of zymogen granules, their existence may be a non-specific morphological change, representing a metaplasia of breast epithelial cells. Positive results for lysozyme, antichymotrypsin, etc. cannot be considered evidence of specific cell differentiation. For the diagnosis of acinar cell carcinoma, it should be combined with morphological characteristics, immunohistochemical characteristics, etc. to make a comprehensive analysis.

Bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) have been extensively studied for potential clinical use. Recently, increasing attention is being paid to the relationship between p53 and BMSCs differentiation. In this study, we investigated the effects of p53 on the alveolar epithelial differentiation of BMSCs. Rat BMSCs (rBMSCs) were cultured with and without hyperoxia-damaged lung tissue to observe their differentiation process in vitro. Furthermore, p53 expression was inhibited by pifithrin-α during rBMSCs differentiation. Transmission electron microscopy, immunofluorescence, luciferase assay, and an analysis of cell proliferation and apoptosis levels were performed to examine the changes in rBMSCs. We found that rBMSCs in vitro exhibited alveolar epithelial differentiation when co-cultured with damaged lung tissue, and cell apoptosis, cell proliferation, and p53 levels of rBMSCs were significantly altered during the differentiation process. Furthermore, when p53 was inhibited in rBMSCs by pifithrin-α (a specific p53 inhibitor), apoptosis was alleviated, cell proliferation was promoted, and the potential alveolar epithelial differentiation of rBMSCs was blocked. Our results suggest that p53 can effectively regulate alveolar epithelial differentiation of rBMSCs. These results provide the basis for developing more effective cellular clinical therapies for lung diseases in further research.

BACKGROUNDCurrently, ongoing trials of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC) therapies for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) have been reported.AIMIn this study, we investigated whether MSCs have therapeutic efficacy in novel COVID-19 patients.METHODSSearch terms included stem cell, MSC, umbilical cord blood, novel coronavirus, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 and COVID-19, applied to PubMed, the Cochrane Controlled Trials Register, EMBASE and Web of Science.RESULTSA total of 13 eligible clinical trials met our inclusion criteria with a total of 548 patients. The analysis showed no significant decrease in C-reactive protein (CRP) levels after stem cell therapy (P = 0.11). A reduction of D-dimer levels was also not observed in patients after stem cell administration (P = 0.82). Furthermore, interleukin 6 (IL-6) demonstrated no decrease after stem cell therapy (P = 0.45). Finally, we investigated the overall survival (OS) rate after stem cell therapy in COVID-19 patients. There was a significant improvement in OS after stem cell therapy; the OS of enrolled patients who received stem cell therapy was 90.3%, whereas that of the control group was 79.8% (P = 0.02). CONCLUSIONOverall, our analysis suggests that while MSC therapy for COVID-19 patients does not significantly decrease inflammatory markers such as CRP, D-dimer and IL-6, OS is improved.

Intramyocardial dissection following cardiac tumor excision is uncommon. The evidence available is limited to few case reports. Herein,we report an infant with large cardiac fibrosarcoma arising from the interventricular septum and underwent surgical excision. Postoperative echocardiography revealed a cystic dissection located in the interventricular septum with residual shunts within the ventricular chambers. we performed conservative strategy due to the high surgical risk, difficulty of interventional therapy and hemodynamic stability.

Objective: To present our primary experience of robotic-assisted laparoscopic pyeloplasty (RALP) for severe ureteropelvis junction obstruction (UPJO) infants under 3 months.Methods: We performed a retrospective study of 9 infants under 3 months who underwent RALP for severe UPJO between April 2017 and March 2019 in our center. The severe UPJO was defined as infants with severe hydronephrosis (Society of Fetal Urology grades III or IV, anteroposterior diameter >3 cm or split renal function <40% or T 1/2 >20 min) involving bilateral, solitary kidney, or contralateral renal hypoplasia UPJO at the same time. All clinical, perioperative, and postoperative information was collected.Results: There were four bilateral UPJO cases, two solitary kidney UPJO cases and three unilateral UPJO with contralateral renal hypoplasia cases included. One single surgeon performed RALP on all of the infants. The mean age of the infants was 1.62 ± 0.54 months. The mean operative time was 109.55 ± 10.47 min. The mean estimated blood loss was 19.29 ± 3.19 ml, and the mean length of hospital stay was 5.57 ± 0.73 days. According to the ultrasonography results, all patients had a significant recovery of renal function at 12 months after the operation.Conclusions: To maximize the protection of renal function, early RALP is a safe and feasible option for the treatment of severe UPJO in infants under 3 months.
