The V2X technology is a quite complex field in the communication sector. It is required for the automotive industry to further evolve the travel experience and safety, as well as to reduce the environmental impact of vehicles. The chapter reviewed various V2X technologies. Two of the key challenges are interoperability and compatibility. The competing access technologies, i.e. WLAN-based and cellular -based communication, are very different in their whole philosophy. Therefore, it is assumed that both technologies will coexist and spread on their own. There will be no consensus that will favour one over the other. This also means that the communication devices have to support both main access technologies resulting in multi -stack equipment. Of course, this has fmancial consequences as well. To complete this thought, it should be noted that WLAN-based V2X communication has geographical restrictions as well. However, this stands for a vehicle itself and its features as well, thus this issue is less significant.

<strong>Absztrakt</strong> A Vehicle-to-Grid-nek (V2G) nevezett koncepció lehetőséget biztosít az elektromos járművek és a töltőpontok közti kommunikációra, ezzel pedig javítható a töltési folyamat hatékonysága. Az okostöltésnek köszönhetően hatékony módon megvalósítható az elektromobilitás. A jelen cikkben bemutatjuk az okostöltéshez kapcsolódó fontosabb protokollokat, szabványokat, illetve az összekapcsolási lehetőségeket. Továbbá leírjuk a V2G és OCPP (<em>Open Charge Point Protocol</em>) protokollok konformancia teszteléshez készített alkalmazásunkat. <strong>Abstract</strong> The concept of Vehicle-to-grid (V2G) provides the opportunity for electric vehicles to communicate with the charge points. This is able to improve the efficiency of the charge process. Thanks to smart charging we are capable to achieve electro-mobility in an effective manner. In this article, the relevant protocols and standards related to smart charging and the connection points between them are presented. Furthermore, the conformance tester application is introduced developed by the authors that allows to test the protocols of V2G and <em>Open Charge Point Protocol</em> (OCPP).
