Nursing rounds is a method used by nursing to explore and discuss in depth the problems of nursing on the patient, as well as to know the implementation of care standard that has been performed to improve service quality. This research aims to see the effect of nursing rounds method training on patient satisfaction with nursing service at RS X. We use pra-experiment design research, pre and post-tests without control, conducted from July 207 to January 2018 in RS X Jakarta. The research sample is 46 respondents. The intervention of nursing rounds training to the nurse, the evaluation used questionnaire to the patient. Data analysis used Chi-Square and Mann Whitney Tests. The research shows that patient satisfaction with the nursing service in RS X is very satisfied 32.6%, satisfied 67.4%, and dissatisfied 0%. The analysis of respondent characteristics (age, education, time of care, occupation, the person in charge of the medicine cost) and patient satisfaction (intangibility, responsiveness, reliability dimensions) have no relation. Nursing rounds significantly improve patient satisfaction with the nursing service in Empathy (35.4%) and Assurance (47.5%). The increase in patient satisfaction after the nursing round in Empathy (P=0.007) and Assurance (P=0.001) dimensions in male patients is higher than in female patients (P=0.035). From the research results above, tangibility, responsiveness, and reliability dimensions need to be improved by implementing nursing rounds in the ward. It shall be performed simultaneously to enhance the satisfaction of nursing service.

Hubungan Konsumsi Alkohol dengan Cedera Disebabkan Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas di Indonesia Tahun 2018
The incidence of injury increased from 7.5% to 9.2% (2007-2018). The proportion of injuries due to traffic accidents in Indonesia is 2.2% and the highest is at 15-24 years of age at 4.9%. Total per capita alcohol consumption is expected to increase in Indonesia by 2025. The behavior of consuming alcoholic beverages increases the risk of traffic accidents. This study aimed to determine the relationship and the magnitude of the risk of alcohol consumption behavior with the incidence of injuries caused by traffic accidents in people aged >10 years in Indonesia. This research was a quantitative study using univariate, bivariate, and multivariate analysis. The multivariate results of the study showed a significant relationship between alcohol consumption and injuries caused by traffic accidents with OR 2.436 (95% CI: 1.233 - 4.811) after being controlled by other variables, namely age, sex, education, occupation, area of residence and island of domicile. Male group had a significant relationship with OR 1.204 (95% CI: 1.131 - 1.282), higher education was significantly associated with OR 1.953 (95% CI: 1.783 - 2.138), work was significantly associated with OR 1.230 (95% CI: 1.138 - 1.329) ), living in urban areas was significantly associated with OR 1.176 (95% CI: 1.104 - 1.253) and domicile in Sulawesi Island was significantly associated with OR 1.811 (95% CI: 1.580 - 2.077). The age variable is not significant. Alcohol consumption is the variable that has the greatest influence on injuries caused by traffic accidents. Interventions need to be focused on population groups who are more at risk in formulating health policies and programs to reduce the incidence of injuries caused by traffic accidents.

Factors influencing HIV group counseling participation at a referral hospital in Jakarta, Indonesia

 Abstract:
Background: Previous studies indicate that social support, including HIV counseling and support groups, have a direct effect on adherence to HIV therapy. Currently, factors of non-participation in HIV counseling in the Indonesian population are unknown. Based on this condition, we performed this study to explore HIV patient in group counseling participation at Prof. Sulianto Saroso Infectious Disease Hospital (RSPI-SS), a national referral hospital in Northern Jakarta in Indonesia. We assessed demographic and clinical factors that are associated with participation in HIV group counseling.
Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted between July and October 2013. 1,440 HIV patients in Jakarta obtaining ART from RSPI-SS were approached to participate in a quantitative survey. Factors associated with group counseling participation were assessed using logistic regression analyses.
Results: A total of 709 (80.6%) out of 880 patients in group counseling completed the survey. The most of respondents were male (71.1%), had completed at least secondary school (84.3%), and worked full-time (51.5%). The majority (87.3%) of respondents had advanced disease (clinical stage 3 and 4). A small proportion (9.7%) of patients had hepatitis B or C co-infection, and 12.7 % reported having a family member (partner or child) who was also HIV positive. Only 272 (38,4%) of surveyed patients reported attending HIV group counseling. Five variables were found to be independently associated as factors influencing with participation in HIV group counseling including age, hours worked, income satisfaction, Family member with HIV, and history of Injection Drug User’s (IDU’s).

Conclusion: Based on findings, outreach activities promoting HIV group counseling should target patients who are unable or less likely to attend group counseling, including older patients and patients with history of IDU’s. Additionally, health care providers should consider alternative schedules for patients who work full-time and are unable to attend group counseling during work hours.
