Relevance. In studies devoted to mental health disorders of family members of war veterans, recommendations are given for psychological correction that need to be differentiated and specified depending on the specifics of these disorders, as well as depending on the socio-psychological, cultural, ideological characteristics of each particular family, within which its members find psychological resources for coping with mental trauma. The purpose of this work was to analyze and summarize existing studies on mental health disorders and the development of specific areas (models) of specialized psychological assistance to children of veterans of military conflicts. The analysis of literary sources was the first stage of the study, implemented at the Chechen State Pedagogical University within the framework of the state assignment of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation «Development and testing of an integrated model for the correction of stress-related disorders in traumatized children of participants in the SVO in a school setting.» Material and methods. The methods used were the analysis of domestic and foreign literary sources containing the results of randomized controlled studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses of works devoted to mental health disorders of war veterans and their family members. Preference was given to publications for the last 5 years. Results. Analysis of the research results shows that the presence of health problems in parents who participated in military operations significantly affects the risk of developing psychosomatic symptoms and mental disorders in children, mainly in the form of anxiety, depression, phobic disorders, and also determines a decrease in academic performance, interest in learning and communication, provokes behavioral disorders, increased conflict, aggression and hostility. Conclusions. Three main areas (models) of organizing psychological assistance to children of veterans of military conflicts can be distinguished, taking into account the socio-psychological characteristics of the veteran’s family, which can be integrated into a comprehensive system of assistance to children and family members of veterans of a special military operation: clinical and psychological model; psychological and pedagogical model; socio-psychological model.

Introduction. Despite the significant number of works devoted to learning motivation and the factors influencing it, the interconnections between deep psychological determinants — irrational beliefs, aspects of self-attitude, and learning resistance determinants — have not been sufficiently studied to date. The scientific novelty of this research lies in the study of psychological barriers hindering successful student learning. This will help identify mechanisms of cognitive-emotional factors’ influence on academic performance, going beyond the traditional study of motivation. Objective . To identify manifestations of irrational beliefs among students and determine their relationships with aspects of self-attitude and the severity of learning resistance determinants. Materials and Methods . The study involved 75 students aged 18 to 54 years. A complex of psychodiagnostic methods was used: the irrational beliefs methodology (adapted by A. G. Kamenyukin and D. V. Kovpak), the self-attitude research methodology by S. R. Pantileev, and the questionnaire of learning resistance determinants severity by S. M. Yakushin. For statistical data processing, Spearman’s rank correlation coefficient was used with the SPSS Statistics program. Results . Correlation analysis revealed statistically significant connections between irrational beliefs, aspects of self-attitude, and learning resistance determinants. The strongest direct relationship was found between self-confidence and frustration tolerance. Frustration tolerance positively correlates with most adaptive aspects of self-attitude. The strongest negative connections were revealed between internal conflict and frustration tolerance, as well as the degree of rationality of thinking. Academic anxiety demonstrates significant negative correlations with evaluative attitude, rationality of thinking, and catastrophization. The obtained data confirm the presence of significant connections between irrational beliefs and self-attitude, as well as student academic functioning factors. Discussion . The results confirm that irrational beliefs (especially low frustration tolerance and evaluativeness) are closely related to negative aspects of self-attitude and reinforce key determinants of learning resistance, such as academic anxiety. The findings are consistent with the works of domestic and foreign authors. The results substantiate the need to develop psychological programs aimed at correcting irrational beliefs and forming rational thinking among students to improve their academic well-being.

Today, development is recognized as more intricate than in the past. Scholars and practitioners observe a shift in the development landscape since the turn of the millennium, emphasizing culture’s increasing role in social life. In postmodern theory, culture asserts a predominant position among other societal spheres. A balanced view positions culture as a vital component of everyday experience, marking a transition from a scarcity-driven society where economic necessity confines human behavior to a world where individual choice is expanded by the growing influence of the human factor over external conditions. This perspective does not narrowly define culture solely as high art or achievement of cultural standards seen in official discourse, but rather embraces its broad spectrum of manifestations across public life, representing the future direction of cultural policy.
