In this paper, we focus on the impacts that the trade war between China and the United States brough to the global economics especially for some high-tech industries from countries all around the world and use a specific case study on CATL to explain how hard for a Chinese High-tech corporation to build their factory in the United States. The trade war between these two countries have made lots of significant issues to the global world. We considered this trade war from several perspectives. In this passage, we focused on eight impacts that the trade war will bring to the global economy and most of them are related to high-tech industry. Impacts that included in reducing high-tech global supply chain, decreasing technological innovation, moving technological center from China to Vietnam etc. The trade war, in some way, become a tool to stimulate the technological innovation from bilateral countries.

Abstract In the present work, a superfast and simple photopolymerization process is developed in preparing superabsorbent beads under ambient conditions. Hydrophilic monomers, N,N‐dimethylacrylamide (AM) and 2‐hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) are photopolymerized in 60 s using phenylbis (2,4,6‐trimethylbenzoyl)phosphine (BAPO) under UV/Vis light. Proton nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy (NMR) and Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR) confirmed the successful polymerization of both monomers. Monomer conversions, quantitatively examined with gas chromatography (GC), are over 90% for all homo‐ and copolymerizations. Water absorbance is greatly influenced by the ratio of the two monomers. With the increase of AM in the copolymers, the water absorbance increased. Copolymer beads absorbed less water at 40° than room temperature. Polymeric beads are water soluble when the AM content is equal to or above 90% by weight in the superabsorbent. Without any cross‐linkers, beads prepared with 85/15 weight ratio of AM to HEMA absorbed 84 times their weight of water.

The optimization and analysis of spin ensemble trajectories in the hybrid state-a state in which the direction of the magnetization adiabatically follows the steady state while the magnitude remains in a transient state. Numerical optimizations were performed to find spin ensemble trajectories that minimize the Cramér-Rao bound for -encoding, -encoding, and their weighted sum, respectively, followed by a comparison between the Cramér-Rao bounds obtained with our optimized spin-trajectories, Look-Locker sequences, and multi-spin-echo methods. Finally, we experimentally tested our optimized spin trajectories with in vivo scans of the human brain. After a nonrecurring inversion segment on the southern half of the Bloch sphere, all optimized spin trajectories pursue repetitive loops on the northern hemisphere in which the beginning of the first and the end of the last loop deviate from the others. The numerical results obtained in this work align well with intuitive insights gleaned directly from the governing equation. Our results suggest that hybrid-state sequences outperform traditional methods. Moreover, hybrid-state sequences that balance - and -encoding still result in near optimal signal-to-noise efficiency for each relaxation time. Thus, the second parameter can be encoded at virtually no extra cost. We provided new insights into the optimal encoding processes of spin relaxation times in order to guide the design of robust and efficient pulse sequences. We found that joint acquisitions of and in the hybrid state are substantially more efficient than sequential encoding techniques.

This research examines the previously unstudied role of cultural attachment in international negotiations. Specifically focusing on the fearful attachment style, this article reveals the intricate interaction of cultural attachment, risk perception, and risk regulation on negotiators' ability to claim value in international negotiation. Supporting our theorizing based on cultural attachment and prospect theory, findings show that risk‐averse sellers with fearful attachment to their national culture perceive greater risk and in turn are more motivated to regulate risk through relationship‐building with their counterpart (Study 1). Moreover, these individuals achieve lower economic gains when they regulate relational risk by making fewer threats to walk away (Study 2). We discuss the implications and the importance of understanding one's attachment to own national culture as its interplay with role and risk mechanisms impacts effectiveness in international negotiations.

Minimized extracorporeal circulation (MECC, Maquet, Cardiopulmonary AG, Hirrlingen, Germany) is an established procedure to perform coronary revascularization. Studies showed positive effects of MECC compared to conventional cardiopulmonary bypass (CCPB) procedures in terms of transfusion requirements, less inflammation reactions, and neurological impairments. Recent retrospective studies showed higher mean arterial pressure (MAP) and a lower frequency of vasoactive drug use. We addressed this issue in this study. The hypothesis was to find a higher MAP during coronary bypass grafting surgery in patients treated with MECC systems. We performed a prospective, controlled, randomized trial with 40 patients either assigned to MECC (n = 18) or CCPB (n = 22) undergoing coronary bypass grafting. Primary endpoints were the perioperative course of mean arterial pressure, and the consumption of norepinephrine. Secondary endpoints were the regional cerebral and renal oxygen saturation (rSO2) as an indicator of area perfusion and the course of hematocrit. Clinical and demographic characteristics did not significantly differ between both groups. Thirty-day mortality was 0%. At four of five time points during extracorporeal circulation (ECC) MAP values were significantly higher in the MECC group compared to CCPB patients (after starting the ECC 60 +/- 11 mmHg vs. 49 +/- 10 mmHg, p = .002). MECC patients received significantly less norepinephrine (MECC 22.5 +/- 35 microg vs. CCPB 60.5 +/- 75 microg, p = .045). The rSO2 measured at right and left forehead and the renal area was similar for both groups during ECC and significantly higher at CCPB group 1 and 4 hours after termination of CPB. Minimized extracorporeal circulation provides a higher mean arterial pressure during ECC and we found a lower consumption of vasoactive drugs in the MECC group. There was a decrease in regional tissue saturation at 1 and 4 hours post bypass in the MECC group possibly due to increased systemic inflammation and extravascular fluid shift in the CCPB group.

In 1996, AusSI had 26 entrants to the Prize, which include back-of-book style indexes, annotated bibliographies, elaborate and beautiful castles with rooms full of links and hierarchical sites like Yahoo. They are all available on the Web at: http://www.zeta.org.au/~aussi/auswebpr.html.
