Greenspace and Adolescent Internalising and Externalising Problems: Limited Associations in the <scp>ABCD</scp> Cohort
ABSTRACT The availability of neighbourhood greenspace has been associated with many positive health outcomes across the lifespan. However, evidence has been mixed during adolescence. This study examined associations between greenspace and internalising and externalising problems amongst adolescents ages 9–14 in the Adolescent Brain Cognitive Development (ABCD) cohort. We tested whether associations were present or stronger at certain ages, for certain genders, or for certain indices of greenspace using a split‐half approach. Analyses in the exploratory sample ( N = 2932) indicated few associations between greenspace and adolescent mental health. Preregistered analyses in the confirmatory sample ( N = 3264) replicated these largely null results. However, the proportion of park land in 13‐year‐old girls' census tracts was associated with lower internalising problems in both samples. Our findings point to the need to more precisely consider access to and interaction with greenspace, as well as other neighbourhood factors affecting youth mental health.

Background: Hip fractures are a major cause of morbidity and mortality in elderly populations, often requiring surgical intervention and prolonged rehabilitation. Integrative approaches, including energy-based healing systems such as Yoga Prana Vidya (YPV), have shown promise in enhancing recovery outcomes. Objective: To document the recovery of a 78-year-old female patient with a left neck of femur fracture following 3 falls on 7 November 2025, and started receiving YPV healing alongside conventional medical management. Methods: The patient, diagnosed on 8 November 2025, underwent hip surgery on 10 November 2025. No neurological causes of falls were observed during investigations. On patient’s request, YPV healing sessions were initiated by a Certified Healer immediately after fallings on 7 November and continued until 10 December 2025. Healing protocols included psychotherapy, cleansing and energizing specific affected chakras, strengthening the spine, and daily affirmations. Sessions were frequent in the initial phase (every three hours for three days), gradually tapering as recovery progressed. Results: Post-surgery, the patient reported reduced pain, improved mobility, and faster-than-expected rehabilitation. By 5 December 2025, i.e., within 25 days after surgery, she was walking without support, and by 15 December 2025, she resumed normal activities including attending social functions. Physiotherapy outcomes were positive, with enhanced mobility and reduced dependence on assistive devices. Conclusions: The integration of YPV healing with conventional medical care facilitated smooth recovery, improved patient confidence, and accelerated functional independence. This case highlights the potential of YPV as a complementary therapy in orthopaedic rehabilitation.

Tubulonodular Pericallosal Lipoma With Callosal Dysgenesis in an Adult Presenting With a Lapse in Consciousness: A Case Report
Intracranial lipomas are rare congenital anomalies that result from the abnormal development of meningeal tissues, causing the formation of fatty deposits within the intracranial cavity. The pericallosal region is the most frequent site where such lipomas are often associated with structural abnormalities of the corpus callosum. Although many cases remain clinically silent, symptomatic presentations can include seizures, headaches, cognitive impairment, or unusual neurobehavioral findings. We present the case of a 30-year-old woman who was evaluated in the emergency department after a motor vehicle accident, which was preceded by a transient loss of consciousness, presumed to be a seizure. Neuroimaging revealed a tubulonodular pericallosal lipoma associated with callosal dysgenesis.

Current Technological Advancements In The Field of Physiotherapy: Scoping Review
ABSTRACT: BACKGTOUND: Physical therapy addresses the illnesses or injuries that limit a person's abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. PTs use an individual's history and physical examination to arrive at a diagnosis and establish a management plan and, when necessary, incorporate the results of laboratory and imaging studies like X-rays, CT-scan, or MRI findings. Rapid development of Digital Healthcare(DHT) technologies has revolutionalized healthcare industry. DHT based intervention has shown promising clinical benefits in managing disorders ,alleviating pain and improving functional impairments. In the modern world of 2025, the delivery of high-quality healthcare at a lower cost is made possible through remote virtual technology. In the year 2025, Technological advancements in the field of physiotherapy emphasis on Telerehabilitation, Gamification ,Wearable Technology, Robots, Artificial Intelligence(AI) and Machine Learning(ML). Telerehabilitation also known as e-rehabilitation is the use of telecommunication technologies to provide rehabilitation services to patients. Gamification promotes patients participation and self management.Wearable technology involves electronic devices worn on the user or combined with their skin to closely monitor their activities, without interfering with or restricting their movement. Robots helps in training sensorimotor functions in patients with Central Nervous System impairments. Artificial Intelligence is a field of mathematics promise for enhancing healthcare by patient involvement and improved decision making.
Read morePower and psychotherapy: An exploration through a psychosynthesis lens
ABSTRACT In this essay, I focus on uncovering the subtext of power differentials as a global context in the therapeutic relationship. I will look at ways to conceptualise the phenomenon of power and splitting transpersonally, through the lens of psychosynthesis, while employing an interdisciplinary approach to create a theoretical and experiential ground in attending to intersectional power differentials structurally. Drawing from my experience as an East Asian trainee and a first-generation immigrant in a European psychotherapy and counselling programme, I consider how sometimes well-meaning measures can perpetuate division rather than facilitate inclusion, reinforcing what I posit as ‘power trauma’. Applying this to working with clients, I explore the creative potential of power when it is attended to both structurally and transpersonally. Ultimately, this essay argues for the experiential and non-dualist potency of psychosynthesis, when used with awareness and responsibility, in working with power trauma and the risk of splitting by conceptualising and relating to power as a transpersonal quality.
