The current challenges of distance teaching drama cally highlight the relevance of parental support for students' learning. It has been, however, frequently proven that a partnership between parents and schools exerts a signifi cant posi ve infl uence on childrens' learning progress. The rela onship between schools and parents is, at the same me, embedded in a complex network of social discourses, tradi ons of school culture, individual expecta ons and previous experiences, and legal guidelines. The coming issue will off er an overview of current research on parent-school-partnerships, presen ng selected fi ndings on important aspects, such as parents' trust in school as an educa onal ins tu on or the eff ects of parental support on children's reading competencies, in order to provide deepening insights. Contribu ons in the "reports" sec on will examine the subject from diff erent actors' perspec ves. Issue 3 will be out in August 2021.
