A compressive fusion of remote sensing images is presented based on the block compressed sensing (BCS) and non-subsampled contourlet transform (NSCT). Since the BCS requires small memory space and enables fast computation, firstly, the images with large amounts of data can be compressively sampled into block images with structured random matrix. Further, the compressive measurements are decomposed with NSCT and their coefficients are fused by a rule of linear weighting. And finally, the fused image is reconstructed by the gradient projection sparse reconstruction algorithm, together with consideration of blocking artifacts. The field test of remote sensing images fusion shows the validity of the proposed method.

An auxiliary capacitor-based balancing approach is adopted in this paper to equalize the dc-link capacitor voltages of a diode-clamped multilevel converter (DCMC). Four balancing circuits, including the generalized, one-level-capacitor, one-capacitor, and simplified one-capacitor-based configurations are discussed for a five-level DCMC system. These configurations are different in connection of the auxiliary circuits and numbers of the capacitors and switches, but they work on the same principle called ping-pong operation by utilizing the auxiliary capacitor as an equalizer between the capacitors of different voltages. The unbalance phenomenon, ping-pong principle, circuit configurations, and their switching schemes are analyzed, respectively. The superiorities of the proposed approach include balancing operation regardless of load power factor and modulation index, control simplicity, and independence from main circuits when compared to the traditional approaches. Simulations and experimental results verified the performances using the proposed balancing circuits and control strategies.

This paper explains lightning protection and earthing issues of RBS (radio base station) and discusses people's cognitive process to RBS's attack by lightning through four processes of Jiangmen (Guangdong Province of China) RBS's lightning protection and earthing transformation. This paper proposes the key to solve RBS's lightning protection and earthing questions qualitatively and quantitatively according to the lightning protection and earthing research of RBS,and the paper clarifies some controversial views of IEC and ITU standards.

In order to share the load and restrain circumfluence, it is described that a digital current sharing control technique for modularized UPS parallel operation in detail in this paper, and the structure of parallel system is presented. Based on the analysis of circumfluence of paralleled system, characteristic of the power regulation, a novel digital power detection technique is deduced. With measuring and analyzing the instantaneous average current of all UPS modules and the output current of each module, both of current components are used to control and regulate the amplitude and the phase of the output voltage. In this way, the control of current sharing in the modularized UPS paralleling system is realized. The proposed control technique has been verified the good characteristic of restraining circumfluence by the results of the experiment. The control strategy has advantages of brevity, high practicality.
