This paper examines the growing importance of flexibility in shaping employer branding strategies. Employer branding refers to the image and reputation an organization builds to attract and retain talent. Traditionally, employer brand was shaped by internal messaging and workplace culture, but in today’s digital age external perceptions, especially through platforms like Glassdoor or social media, play a significant role. Flexibility, once seen as a benefit, has become a strategic necessity, particularly following the global shift to remote work during the COVID-19 pandemic. The study highlights how flexible work arrangements enhance employee satisfaction, wellbeing, and retention. Remote work enables access to a global talent pool, supports inclusivity, and aligns with the expectations of younger generations who prioritize work-life balance and autonomy. Surveys show that companies offering flexibility attract more applicants and experience lower turnover rates. Despite some resistance from traditional employers, flexibility is now a key factor in employer attractiveness. Organizations that fail to adapt risk losing top talent. Hence, flexibility is not just a trend but a core element of modern employer branding. To remain competitive, companies must integrate flexible work into their talent strategies and align their brand messaging with evolving workforce expectations.

Advanced Antenna Systems represent one of the key pillars of 5G NR design. The gains associated with their deployment grow with the number of controllable antenna elements, but are highly dependent on the deployment scenario. In this paper, simulation results quantifying the relative capacity gains of AAS over passive antenna configurations depending on the environment type and offered service are shown. Furthermore, impact of increasing the transmitter output power and subarray size is considered.

This paper presents an approach for the mismatch pulse compression implementation in spread spectrum radars with binary phase intra-pulse modulated pulses. Design and verification of the matched and mismatched filter for signals coded by Barker and M sequences are accomplished on a digital radar signal synthesis and processing platform based on direct digital synthesis (DDS) and field programmable gates array (FPGA) technology. Coefficients of mismatched filters are obtained by DIRLS algorithm with 16-bit resolution. The compressors are verified with sequences lengths of 13 and 31, and bandwidth of 3.3 MHz.

Growing popularity of wireless sensor network (WSN) applications and machine-to-machine (M2M) communication has recently led to emergence of a new class of network traffic. The communication between things introduces network traffic characteristics very different from traditional human-centric communication. As more WSN and M2M services are expected to use mobile network as a backhaul, it is important to understand the impact that their traffic will have on the radio access network. WCDMA radio access networks are dimensioned using traffic models containing traffic characteristics for a number of services offered by the operators and their networks today. In this chapter, the potential capacity impact of several selected sensor-based applications on the WCDMA radio access network, both dedicated and common channels, is presented. The results thus far have shown that currently 3G mobile networks can successfully cope with the new WSN traffic. With the increase of WSN traffic, optimizations of protocols and solutions will be required and radio bearer mapping can be a deciding factor in determining the size of the radio access network and the required resources.

In this paper some simple channel models taking into account the corresponding BER (bit error rate) and FER (frame error rate), for an advanced 3G (WCDMA) receiver, using chip level equalizer and turbo coding, are considered. The conventional RAKE receiver is used as a reference. On the basis of the obtained models parameters, some corresponding FER bounds are evaluated and compared
