At this panel, the participants from both Academia and Industry discussed the trends, barriers and challenges to Industry 4.0 adoption, as well as the current implementation levels of technologies like hybrid AI, blockchain, Digital Twins, 4D printing and Hyper-automation in various industries.The participants also discussed the roles of corporations and start-ups, and whether companies should buy, develop in-house or co-invest in new technologies.A part of the discussion has identified the human factor that influences the digital transformation from the perspective of the organizational and cultural change, and how to drive faster the process of automation.Finally, in the context of the worldwide pandemic, the panelists commented on the effects of COVID-19 in the Industrial Sector, and the new challenges as well as opportunities for driving the total IT transformation.

O presente trabalho apresenta uma nova téecnica de classicação multiclasses, aplicada para o reconhecimento de distúrbios da Qualidade de Energia. A Modelagem Logística-NARX Multinomial combina a metodologia NARX e a regressção logística, resultando em modelos simples e interpretáveis capazes de lidar com o problema multicolinearidade e de predizer variáveis categóricas. No problema de classicação de distúrbios de qualidade de energia são usadas téecnicas baseadas nas estatísticas de ordem superior e discriminante de Fisher para a extração e seleção de parâmetros dos eventos da Qualidade de Energia. Os resultados apresentaram altos ídices de desempenho em comparação com outras técnicas populares de classicação.

Given the current economic situation and the financial crisis in many European countries, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) have found internationalisation and exportation of their products as the main way out of this crisis. In this paper, we provide a decision support system that semantically aggregates information from many heterogeneous web resources and provides guidance to SMEs for their potential investments. The main contributions of this paper are the introduction of SME internationalisation indicators that can be considered for such decisions, as well as the novel decision support system for SME internationalisation based on inference over semantically integrated data from heterogeneous web resources. The system is evaluated by SME experts in realistic scenarios in the section of dairy products.

Capability-driven development (CDD) is a novel paradigm for organisational modelling and information technology development. Its cornerstones are capability modelling (including goals, context, processes), pattern-based design, and runtime context awareness and service delivery adjustment. There is a lack of empirical studies regarding the industrial application of CDD. This paper reports on a case study that focuses on capability modelling within a service-oriented architecture development project. We have collected lessons learned, as well as open challenges to feedback the improvement of the CDD methodology.
