Summary A definition of computer literacy is provided which incorporates both functional literacy and a professional or mastery level of computer literacy in human services. Ramifications for human services curriculum development is explored along with a discussion of resource issues, including that of faculty development. An introduction to the sections of this volume and the individual manuscripts is also provided.
