Educational psychology plays an important role in understanding students’ learning processes and designing effective instruction, so that learning theories become a conceptual foundation for educators in determining appropriate approaches, strategies, and methods. This article aimed to examine the main learning theories in educational psychology—namely behaviorist, cognitive, humanistic, and constructivist theories—and to analyze their implications in the context of Islamic education. A library research method was employed by reviewing various relevant books and journal articles. The findings show that each learning theory has distinct characteristics, basic assumptions, and pedagogical applications: behaviorist theory emphasizes behavior reinforcement through stimulus–response mechanisms, cognitive theory focuses on internal mental processes, humanistic theory is oriented toward the development of potential and the wholeness of the self, while constructivist theory positions learners as active subjects in constructing knowledge. Nonetheless, these four theories can complement one another when integrated with Islamic values, so that the learning process becomes not only academically effective but also oriented toward character formation, the strengthening of spirituality, and the personality balance of learners. Thus, the integration of learning theories within the framework of Islamic education constitutes an essential foundation for developing holistic and character-based instructional practices.

Batik MSMEs in Indonesia face significant challenges in promoting products based on cultural identity, especially in the era of globalization and digitalization, which encourages the homogenization of marketing strategies. One innovative alternative that has the potential to overcome this challenge is the use of dance as a symbol-based visual communication medium. This study aims to analyze the potential of dance in strengthening the promotion strategy of cultural products, especially batik, through a literature review approach to reputable scientific sources. The study result shows that dance, through movements, costumes, and visual expressions, can build a symbolic narrative that strengthens the cultural identity of batik products. The integration of visual elements from dance into promotional strategies can increase the emotional connection between products and consumers, create added value, and strengthen product images based on local wisdom in a competitive market. These findings contribute to a new conceptual framework for developing batik MSME promotion strategies by positioning performing arts as a relevant medium for building brand identity and strengthening the competitiveness of cultural products

Tahfizh Al-Qur’an programs in madrasah ibtidaiyah require the application of appropriate methods to ensure that students’ memorization targets are achieved optimally. This study aimed to describe the implementation of tahfizh Al-Qur’an methods and the attainment of students’ memorization targets in the tahfizh program class at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Terpadu Tahfizhul Qur’an Al-Ma’shum Surakarta. The study employed a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the tahfizh methods implemented included talaqqi, tikrār, ziyādah, murāja‘ah, and tasmi‘, which were carried out in a structured and integrated manner and thus played an important role in shaping students’ recitation accuracy, fluency, and memorization stability. The attainment of memorization targets was influenced by internal factors, such as students’ motivation, discipline, and cognitive abilities, as well as external factors, including teacher competence, a conducive learning environment, and parental support. Accordingly, the success of a tahfizh program requires synergy between the use of appropriate instructional methods, optimal teacher roles, and sustained collaboration between schools and families in supporting the Qur’an memorization process.
