Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena on tutkia kolmen organisaation välistä virtuaalista yhteiskehittämisprosessia nopean luottamuksen rakentumisen näkökulmasta. Kuvaamme teoreettisesti nopean luottamuksen rakentumista edistäviä vuorovaikutustapoja ja selvitämme, miten niitä käytetään virtuaalisen yhteiskehittämisprosessin aikana, sekä identifioimme eri osapuolten vuorovaikutustapoja. Tutkimuksen aineisto koostuu Virtuoosit. Työpaikkojen virtuaalinen yhteiskehittäminen -hankkeessa toteutetusta virtuaalisen yhteiskehittämisprosessin keskusteluaineistosta. Analyysimenetelmänä käytetään teoriaohjaavaa sisällönanalyysiä. Tutkimuksen tuloksena syntyy kuvaus nopean luottamuksen rakentumista edistävistä vuorovaikutustavoista osapuolten välillä virtuaalisen yhteiskehittämisprosessin aikana sekä käytännön toimintasuosituksia prosessin fasilitoijille.

EP1.1, e-Poster Terminal 1, September 3, 2025, 10:35 - 11:00BackgroundGlobally, there is a shortage of healthcare workers which is estimated to increase, due to aging populations, the increase in NCD’s, ageing staff, and nurses leaving the job. In response, Finland, like many countries have increased their recruitment of foreign nurses, alongside increasing nursing education programmes, and nurse bridging programmes for international nurses. This has seen the increase of culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) nursing students, and an increase of CALD nursing workforce in Finland. JAMK Nursing Degree Programme started in 2000 and the current intake is 40 students yearly, this programme implements ethical principles in student reception and guidance. The classes are authentically diverse, with students from 20 different countries from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and South America; studies are in English, with Finnish language required in compulsory clinical practice. Challenges associated with professional practice of CALD students include mentoring provision, language learning, and experiences of exclusion.Response to ChallengesDuring practice supervision, time allocated to teachers’ support and guidance is limited. To meet this challenge, EU and nationally funded projects have helped to develop tutoring in clinical practices: SaSu (2021-2023) and OVE (2024-2026) and Talent Boost (2021-). These projects train nurse mentors and staff in cultural awareness, issues of inclusion, and integration. Additionally, language support is provided to students in clinical settings, also providing orientation to mentors on CALD students language learning process which strengthens collaboration with healthcare units and employers.Data from prior experience of mentoring from both students’ and mentors were used to plan and implement the projects. Their experiences of the received support from the project’s activities were analyzed, and a model was developed to support integration of CALD nurses to the Finnish healthcare workforce.ConclusionSuccessful integration is facilitated by individual, pedagogical and multi-organization cooperation.

BackgroundPersonalized Interactive Music Systems (PIMSs) are emerging as promising devices for enhancing physical activity and exercise outcomes. By leveraging real-time data and adaptive technologies, PIMSs align musical features, such as tempo and genre, with users’ physical activity patterns, including frequency and intensity, enhancing their overall experience.ObjectiveThis exploratory systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of PIMSs across physical, psychophysical, and affective domains.MethodsSearches across 9 databases identified 18 eligible studies, of which 6 (comprising 17 intervention arms) contained sufficient data for meta-analysis. Random-effects meta-analyses and meta-regression were performed to assess outcomes for physical activity levels, physical exertion, ratings of perceived exertion, and affective valence.ResultsResults showed significant improvements in physical activity levels (g=0.49, CI 0.07 to 0.91, P=.02, k=4) and affective valence (g=1.65, CI 0.35 to 2.96, P=.01, k=4), with faster music tempo identified as a significant moderator (P=.03). No significant effects were observed for ratings of perceived exertion (g=0.72, CI −0.13 to 1.58, P=.10, k=3) or physical exertion (g=0.78, CI −0.55 to 2.11, P=.25, k=5).ConclusionsSubstantial heterogeneity and limited study quality indicate the need for more robust, randomized controlled trials to establish the efficacy of PIMSs in diverse populations.

ABSTRACTBackgroundThe Managerial Ethical Profile (MEP) scale was developed to measure the perceived impact of different elements of common ethical frameworks on managerial ethical decision‐making.AimTo translate, culturally adapt and perform preliminary psychometric testing of the MEP scale in the Finnish health and social care sector.DesignThe MEP scale was translated and culturally adapted according to the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) protocol based on a cross‐sectional online survey.ParticipantsFinnish health and social care managers and experts.Ethical ConsiderationResearch permits were obtained from all participating organisations in accordance with the organisations' guidelines. Participation was voluntary and participants gave informed consent.MethodsTranslation and cultural adaptation of the Finnish version of the MEP scale (MEP‐Fin) was performed and perceived relevance and content validity were assessed. An online survey was distributed to homecare service managers in 2022, and a total of 68 managers participated. The data were analysed using descriptive statistics (means, standard deviations, Pearson's correlation coefficients and Cronbach's alphas).ResultsThe translation, cultural adaptation and preliminary psychometric testing process identified issues regarding the understanding of the MEP scale in the Finnish context. The MEP‐Fin showed high overall content validity (S‐CVI/Ave 0.91). The mean score for the comprehensibility of the scale was 8.4. Content validity was high for all individual items (I‐CVI range: 0.56 to 1.00), except for one item (0.38). The Cronbach's alphas for the eight subscales were between 0.51 and 0.93, and for the whole scale, 0.84.ConclusionsThe systematic translation and cultural adaptation process resulted in a conceptually equal MEP‐Fin, which was perceived as thorough and relevant. It showed good coverage, content validity and internal consistency. Preliminary psychometric testing provided information on the characteristics of the MEP‐Fin for validation. Further studies with larger data sets and different cultures are needed.

When releasing an album, musicians often think about the order in which their songs will be presented to the listener. In a previous study, we analyzed sequencing patterns within a set of 50,000 published works and found that louder, more energetic tracks are usually placed before quieter ones. Here we asked 130 music professionals to deliberately arrange the order of songs for a hypothetical album release. Our findings reveal consistent statistical patterns of track sequencing, with musicians showing broad agreement on the placement of songs within an album. Overall, tempo follows an inverted U-shape, while valence, arousal and loudness exhibit the opposite pattern. Results are interpreted in light of auditory science, and compared with sequencing trends commonly found in song lyrics and literary works.

Quantum computing is a new technological discovery that has the potential to transform industries based on high computational capabilities. This work explores how quantum computing will be integrated into AI applications and what impacts it will have on IT networks. A review of the recent literature shows that IT networks need to be upgraded to receive quantum-enhanced AI algorithms, as they require more computation power and faster real-time processing. It covers three major topics: the enabling of quantum AI applications, the role of QRC (quantum reservoir computing) in IT networking, and the challenges concerning the protocols of quantum communication, such as QKD (quantum key distribution). Network architectures of today’s state of the art will have to evolve toward enabling quantum-enabled AI, primarily regarding processing speed and interaction between the quantum and classical systems. This work, therefore, wishes to explain how such technological advances could influence AI applications and tune IT networks. We discuss the following questions: How can IT networks support the exploitation of quantum computing for AI applications? What effects do the dynamics and symmetries of quantum reservoir computing have on IT networks? Which IT networks can adapt to the challenges introduced by quantum computing technologies? The scope and depth of contributions reviewed in the articles together suggest huge potential for quantum computing in optimizing machine learning processes and IT networks with improved data handling and network management. At the same time, these ambitions are underlined by scaling concerns related to quantum hardware and qubit stabilization, and finally, the relative easiness with which quantum-classical computing is retrofitted into existing IT infrastructures. The findings suggest that hybrid quantum-classical systems will be essential in future IT infrastructure; efficiency and scalability will have to balance with security concerns in quantum computing environments.
