t1 HE disease named above seems in the reality to be a new disease in so far as it has not been described in ophthalmic literature, although I described it myself in Geneeskundig Tijdschrift voor Nederlandsch-Indie in the year 1914. This is one of the reasons why I have waited so long a time before publishing it in ophthalmic literature. I wanted to make sure that it had not been mentioned there previously. If I am mistaken, I shall be thankful for any information.
