The article substantiates the thesis that didactics is an integral part of society; therefore, the transformation of didactics and the socio-cultural changes in society represent a single, interdependent process. An analysis of national and foreign research on the transformation of elements of the traditional didactic system in the context of digitalization is presented. Based on the conducted analysis, four key foundations for the formation of digital didactics are identified: ideas, rules, actions, and goals. Their implementation manifests itself in the reformatting of learning systems, changes in the content and forms of education, the discretization of educational elements, as well as in the transformation of goal-setting processes. The identified socio-cultural trends indicate that the integration of digital technologies into the educational process – an inherent feature of digital didactics – serves not only as a technical condition but also as a factor in enhancing the quality of education.

Mining conveyor belts are critical components in bulk material transportation, but their operational safety is frequently threatened by diverse damages such as blocks, cracks, foreign objects, and holes. Existing detection methods, including traditional computer vision and conventional neural networks, struggle to balance accuracy and efficiency in harsh mining environments—marked by high levels of dust, uneven lighting, and extreme scale variability (5–300 pixels). Our study proposes WTConv-YOLO, an improved model based on YOLOv11, integrating two core modules: (1) wavelet transform convolution (WTConv), which achieves a logarithmically expanding receptive field with linearly growing parameters, allowing for the concurrent capture of high-frequency local details and low-frequency global context; (2) Scale-based Dynamic Loss (SD Loss), which dynamically adjusts bounding box similarity and localization loss weights according to target scale, mitigating IoU fluctuation interference and enhancing small-target detection stability. Experiments on the Mining Industrial Conveyor Belt Dataset show that WTConv-YOLOv11 achieves a mean Average Precision (mAP@0.5) of 73.8%—a 3.5% improvement over the baseline YOLOv11. A Python-based software system is developed for end-to-end detection. This work provides a practical solution for reliable conveyor belt damage detection in mining scenarios.

The article considers the key features of development of the global oil products market in the context of geopolitical instability. The authors analyze the main characteristics of the oil market in the leading exporting countries. The features of the development of this market in the current conditions of high turbulence are demonstrated. The global petroleum products market is a complex dynamic trading system of crude oil processing products. Its condition is determined by the balance of supply and demand, the capacities of oil refineries and logistic chains. The article examines the basic factors that have a direct impact on the pricing process of the oil products market, with sanctions restrictions being the most significant. Special attention is paid to the adaptation of refining capacities to new conditions, including modernization of production facilities and development of low-carbon areas. The impact of geopolitical tensions and logistical imbalances on regional markets and global trade is studied. Based on the analysis, strategic vectors of further market evolution aimed at ensuring sustainability and competitiveness in the context of global decarbonization are identified. The article provides a forecast of oil product prices based on these factors. Additionally, the authors analyze the impact of the geopolitical crisis on the oil and gas industry in the Russian Federation. The article outlines the role of international corporations, particularly OPEC, in shaping global oil prices.

Geometallurgy as a link connecting geological features of deposit with metallurgical performance of a concentrator have found broad utilization in metals mining as well as for industrial minerals and black sands mining. However, coal industry yet stays uncovered by successful applications of geometallurgical approach due to certain specifics of a commodity. Production of coal preparation plant in terms of quality and quantity can be forecasted knowing behavior of coal bearing particles in process that is controlled by petrological and mineralogical properties. Application of process mineralogical tools together with comprehensive metallurgical testwork helps to acquire essential information for a simulation of coal preparation operations. Being combined with geological, geochemical and geotechnical data available for a deposit, outcome of process simulation will form holistic geometallurgical model. Once implemented, such models will become a powerful instrument for efficient utilization of resources and proper risk management, e.g. adaptation of the process to variations in run-of-mine coal quality, "what-if" analysis of alternative production strategies, forecasting of financial results, assessment of environmental impact.
