Congregation data collection at GPID Eben Haezer is still done manually. This causes a lot of congregation data to be unsynchronized between the written data and the actual data. In addition, it also results in inefficient administrative services to the congregation. The vision of church digitalization also raises its own problems for the church, namely the unpreparedness of the church's human resources (HR) in digital capabilities. This Community Service (PkM) activity is to help and facilitate GPID Eben Haezer in implementing congregation data management applications and mentoring training in the process of adopting technology in church governance. The training activity was attended by 7 church admins and was carried out after the stages of formulating partner needs, adjusting and implementing the application. After the training, the application usability was measured using the System Usability Scale (SUS) and a score of 83 was obtained, indicating that the implemented application was EXCELLENT and ACCEPTABLE. Numerous methods have been developed to retrieve the full temporal properties of ultrafast infrared laser pulses, and are presently implemented on laser facilities all around the world. We present here a technique, developed for the XUV domain, suitable to characterize any femtosecond to picosecond pulse, that can be routinely produced on the high variety of existing sources of high harmonics, free electron lasers, and plasma-based XUV lasers. Especially, the versatility is such that no limitation on any property of any potential source exists. Our technique relies on a frequency-resolved cross-correlation measurement between an infrared pulse and an XUV pulse, combined with a transient multiphoton absorption in gases. It provides temporal information on the longest of the two pulses: intensity profile, pulse duration, and possible presence of pre- or postpulses. More importantly, the measurement of resolved XUV spectra and the use of iterative phase-retrieval algorithms give access to phase information. The simplicity of the technique makes its implementation on various XUV beamlines straightforward.

We present significant advances in laser wakefield acceleration (LWFA) operating at a 1 kHz repetition rate, employing a sub-TW, few-femtosecond laser and a continuously flowing hydrogen gas target. We conducted a comprehensive study assessing how the nature of the gas within the target influences accelerator performance. This work confirms and elucidates the superior performance of hydrogen in LWFA driven by few-cycle, low-energy laser pulses. Our system generates quasimonoenergetic electron bunches with energies up to 10 MeV, bunch charges of 2 pC, and angular divergences of 15 mrad. Notably, our scheme relying on differential pumping enables continuous operation at kHz repetition rates, contrasting with previous systems that operated in burst mode to achieve similar beam properties. Particle-in-cell simulations explain hydrogen's superior performances: the ionization effects in nitrogen and helium distort the laser pulse, negatively impacting the accelerator performance. These effects are strongly mitigated in hydrogen plasma, thereby enhancing beam quality. This analysis represents a significant step forward in optimizing and understanding kHz LWFA. It underscores the critical role of hydrogen and the imperative need to develop hydrogen-compatible target systems capable of managing high repetition rates, as exemplified by our differential pumping system. These advances lay the groundwork for further developments in high-repetition-rate laser plasma accelerator technology. Published by the American Physical Society 2024

When averaged over sources or disorder, cross-correlation of diffuse fields yield the Green's function between two passive sensors. This technique is applied to elastic ultrasonic waves in an open scattering slab mimicking seismic waves in the Earth's crust. It appears that the Rayleigh wave reconstruction depends on the scattering properties of the elastic slab. Special attention is paid to the specific role of bulk to Rayleigh wave coupling, which may result in unexpected phenomena like a persistent time-asymmetry in the diffuse regime.
