Most of the time, fashion buyers who are inclined to purchase sustainable products rely on both visual and informational cues. However, research has rarely delved into how these cues interact during trade-offs in real purchases. The research focused on how the use of color (earthy vs. neon), price (cheap vs. expensive), and sustainability labels influence consumers' perception of sustainability and their purchase decisions. Besides, the study also investigated whether these effects were moderated by demographic and attitudinal factors. There were eighty-one participants who engaged in an online experimental task that consisted of 40 product-choice trials with randomization. On both perception and choice measures, it was observed that consumers used colour and price as strong heuristics: products that were in earthy colours were always perceived as more sustainable, and participants chose to purchase the cheaper options when there was no information about sustainability. Nevertheless, the presence of a sustainability label on a product made the product preferred even if the product was more expensive, thus giving evidence that informational cues can partially override price-driven tendencies. In contradiction to the hypotheses, labels brought about greater effects on the sustainability perceptions of the earthy products than those of the neon ones, which implied a congruency rather than a compensation effect. Also, the demographic factors which include gender, age, education, and income together with knowledge about sustainability did not turn out to be predictors of sustainable purchasing. On the other hand, environmental concern significantly increased the probability of choosing the option with the label. These outcomes reveal a dual-process decision model for eco-friendly fashion, in which consumers mainly depend on superficial visual cues except when they have a strong intrinsic environmental motivation. The findings have implications for eco-branding and suggest that sustainability communication works best when informational and visual cues are in harmony.

MWC 349A is one of the rare stars known to have hydrogen radio recombination line (RRL) masers. The bright maser emission makes it possible to study the dynamics of the system at milliarcsecond (mas) precision. We present Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array observations of the 1.4 and 0.8 mm continuum emission of MWC 349A, as well as the H30α and H26α RRLs. Using the most extended array configuration of C43-10 with a maximum baseline of 16.2 km, we spatially resolved the H30α line and 1.4 mm continuum emission for the first time. In addition to the known H30α and H26α maser emission from a Keplerian disk at LSR velocities from −12 to 28 km s−1 and from an ionized wind for velocities between −12 to −40 km s−1 and 28 to 60 km s−1, we found evidence of a jet along the polar axis at V LSR from −85 to −40 km s−1 and +60 to +100 km s−1. These masers are found in a linear structure nearly aligned with the polar axis of the disk. If these masers lie close to the polar axis, their velocities could be as high as 575 km s−1, which cannot be explained solely by a single expanding wind as proposed in Báez-Rubio et al. We suggest that they originate from a high-velocity jet, likely launched by a magnetohydrodynamic wind. The jet appears to rotate in the same direction as the rotation of the disk. A detailed radiative transfer modeling of these emissions will further elucidate the origin of these masers in the wind.

Cancer is an imminent health disease affecting millions of humans of all the age groups and genders. Skin cancer is one of the prevalent health problem among all the nations around the world and it has become the most challenging technique in the development of automatic detection of skin lesions. The accurate diagnosis of skin cancer specifically between the different types of skin lesions Melanoma (mel), Melanocytic Nevi (mn), Benign Keratosis Lesion (bkl), Actinic keratosis intraepithelial carcinoma (akiec), Dermeto Fibrona (df), Squamous Cell Carcinoma (scc), Vascular Lesions (vasc), Basal Cell Carcinoma (bcc) is most demanding chore in the field of medical diagnosis. The aim of our research work is to build an efficient framework for skin cancer classification using Convolutional Neural Network(CNN) integrated with Data Augmentation. The experimental work is carried on publicly available dataset HAM10000(Human Against Machine with 10000 training images). The obtained macro average precision and weighted average precision are recorded as 62.0 and 77.0 respectively. The results reveal training accuracy of 86.54% and testing accuracy of 77.91%.

Abstract Background: ‘Heel pain’ is one of the commonest ailments of foot affecting 10% of population and having visible effects on lifestyle of these patients , affecting both younger and elder population. This study’s purpose is to determine the efficacy of Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization in people affected with heel pain and the resultant effect on their lifestyle.Method: Seventy participants(n=70) with heel pain (lasting from 6 weeks to 1 year) will be selected and divided in 2 groups . Each group receiving 8 treatment sessions. Group A will receive IASTM + Home exercise program and Group B will receive Therapeutic Ultrasound + Home exercise program . Outcome measures will be recorded i.e. Pre-test and Post-test , by using Numerical Pain Rating Scale and Foot & Ankle Ability Measure scale. The study’s purpose is to assess the impact (i.e. immediate and long term effects) of IASTM on heel pain. The Central Trial Registry of India (CTRI) registration number for this trial is CTRI/2021/06/044018.

In the present study three steroidal compounds, Stigmasterol, Cholesterol and Stigmasterol glucoside were isolated from the acetone extract of plant Tribulus terrestris L. with the help of column chromatography and TLC techniques. The isolated steroidal compounds were characterized using both proton and carbon-13 NMR.Zygophyllaceae

In Kashmir, where the act of performing a script-based play on a proscenium stage is still seen by many as a controversial gesture, Cages involved the devised creation of a site responsive and immersive performance that placed two spectators, literally, in the shoes of an(Other). The potential of these forms of spectatorship, as explored in this article, lies in its ability to trouble ‘cultivated delusions of singularity’ By drawing from Erica Fischer-Lichte's approach to the aesthetic experience, Laura Edmondson's ideas on discomfort and James Thompson's thoughts on bewilderment, this article analyses instances and techniques from the creation and performance of Cages. Through this analysis, the article considers the many singular identities that Cages troubled – that of an authoritarian director, that of a dominant narrative and that of the space between Self and Other.

<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">State of Charge (SOC) of a storage battery gives the capacity remaining in the battery to meet the load demands. SOC of a Lead Acid battery is predicted based on the temperature compensated value of electrolytes' specific gravity (Sp. gr.). Since measuring specific gravity is not possible in an automobile under dynamic conditions, Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) is used as the parameter to predict the SOC. But OCV can indicate SOC accurately only after a sufficient period of rest of a battery in any condition. Also it varies between batteries due to several factors like temperature, ageing, electrolyte volume, internal construction, etc. Predicting the SOC of battery theoretically depends on number of equations developed to accommodate these variables.</div><div class="htmlview paragraph">Hence for a real time estimation of SOC of battery, a Heuristic algorithm is suggested. The initial State of Battery is estimated by temperature compensated OCV Vs SOC characteristics and followed by dynamic prediction of SOC using Coulomb or Energy Measurement. The drawback of cumulative error in energy measurement is also overcome in this algorithm. For improving the accuracy of dynamic prediction, the heuristic algorithm also talks about compensating the predicted SOC value with respect to factors such as rate of discharge, rate of charge, self discharge and temperature. Finally, the algorithm also talks about “A Self learning feature”, to predict OCV based the initial SOC of Lead Acid battery more accurately irrespective of the vehicle quiescent current differences.</div></div>
