Global observed and anticipated climatic changes nowadays, as well as global warming, are remarkable global changes that have occurred over the last years. Climate change (CC) is a worldwide inter-governmental complex problem with implications for many ecological, environmental, socio-political, and socioeconomic disciplines. The globe is currently confronting a variety of natural disasters as a result of climate change. This paper aims to focus on a different perspective of climate change, which is the one related to education, observed from a linguistics point of view. Climate change has evolved from a primarily physical phenomenon to one that is also social, political, ethical, cultural, and communicative. This paper also contributes to an improved understanding of the mediation of climate change discourse and of the role of language in this issue, related to the Albanian context. It employs an evidence-based and problem-solving method of research, composed of a series of workshops with students conducted during English classes. The conclusions of this paper revealed that the series of workshops conducted, served as a great way to enrich students’ vocabulary and prepare them for new challenges related to natural disasters

The study aimed to investigate the influence of the school moral and contingency leadership on the positive school climate. The quasi-experimental quantitative approach, a structured questionnaire, and a non-random cluster sample of respondents were used in the empirical study. The study revealed a positive correlation between moral leadership and a positive school climate as well as a low negative correlation between contingency leadership and a positive school climate.

The observation of α-convergence is done in many publications in different contexts and tools. Recently, we defined the da-convergence in metric space and we emphasized that in every case d -converge or so-called locally uniform convergence opens new ways for studying relationships in different spaces. In this paper, we extend the convergence of sequences to the net's convergence and arrived to relativize some known propositions.

There is a need to identify meaningful measures of the right to participate that embrace both heterogeneity among children and the diverse contexts in which participation is realized. To date, the literature that combines contextual and personal variation in participation is limited. Using a person-oriented approach, this study explored heterogeneity among children in relation to their perception of participation in four domains – home, school, local community and the country. The data came from a representative sample of 10- and 12-year old students (N = 2339) in schools in Albania who participated in the 3rd wave of the International Survey of Children’s Well-being. Latent profile analyses identified four groups of students, based on their participatory preferences along two dimensions of participation - perceived decision-making and respect. Two overall patterns emerged: (a) students whose endorsement of participation was consistent across all domains but varied in intensity (high level of endorsement vs. moderate) and (b) students whose endorsement of participation varied both across domains and levels of intensity (low vs. moderate vs. high). As expected, profiles defined by greater participation differed on a number of demographic characteristics (e.g., higher proportion of girls, greater proportion of students from families with higher socio-economic status). However, contrary to expectations, many profiles were not consistently related to children’s subjective well-being or satisfaction with life domains. The importance of these findings for targeted initiatives to promote participation among children in transitioning states is discussed.

The article focuses on the political usage of the Ukrainian crisis by Kosovo .Kosovo's independence has been cited as a precedent to legitimize Crimea's integration with Russia .The author highlight show Kosovo responded to the usage of its own declaration of independence in 2008 as an analogous case, and Kosovo's usage of the Ukrainian crisis thus far .

To evaluate the early results of sentinel node (SN)-navigated limited surgery for early gastric cancer. False-negative results of SN biopsy cannot be ignored in gastric cancer surgery. Previous studies suggest that dissection of lymph node stations where SNs belong (SN stations) may minimize the possibility of leaving metastasis behind in SN-navigated surgery. Patients with T1N0M0 gastric cancer <4 cm were informed about the SN-navigated limited surgery from 2003 to 2008. SNs were identified using radioisotope and dye methods. When the SN biopsy by frozen section was negative, limited gastrectomy with dissection of SN stations was performed. Patients with SN stations limited to either the lesser or greater curvature underwent a wedge resection unless it would cause a strong deformity of the stomach. A sleeve gastrectomy was performed in other cases. Six of the 60 enrolled patients chose a standard gastrectomy. Sixteen patients were excluded after laparotomy due to a T2-T3 tumor or tumor location. Three patients with positive SN biopsy underwent D2 gastrectomy, and 35 with negative SN biopsy underwent limited gastrectomy with dissection of SN stations; wedge resection in 8 and sleeve gastrectomy in 27. There were no operative mortalities or morbidities. All patients undergoing the limited surgery had no lymph node metastasis by postoperative pathology, and survived without any recurrence. The average area of the resected stomach for limited surgery was significantly smaller than that for standard procedures (92 +/- 50 vs. 189 +/- 64 cm, P < 0.001). SN-navigated limited gastrectomy with dissection of SN stations for T1N0M0 gastric cancer was considered safe and acceptable although long-term follow-up is mandatory.

Firstly the paper lays out not only the theoretical framework but also tries to make explicit the methodological approach it employs in the analysis of the two cases chosen. In the second part I discuss on common challenges that the pension system of Macedonia and Slovenia were facing and also I portray the different paths these two countries had taken in the way towards reforming their pension schemes. Then I argue on the role of the global actors as being the necessary conditions for reforms, where the leading role is taken by the World Bank leaving the EU influence in shadow. The global pressure alone does explain only the undertaking of reforms leaving the puzzle open on the type of reforms to be implemented. To fill such gap it is argued that domestic actors are to be the sufficient condition that can explain what direction the reforms takes. The paper concludes by suggesting the necessary/sufficient condition approach as a more generalized analysis that need to be extended in understanding the Eastern European divergences on the pension system reforms.
