Cutaneous hyperpigmentations are acquired hypermelanosis and their treatment generates a great social demand.A prospective study was carried out in order to evaluate the efficacy and safety of depigmenting agents' combination, already marketed in Spain, by microneedling application, formed by the following active principles: i. Tranexamic acid, synthetic compound analogous to lysine, which reduces the activity of tyrosinase by decreasing prostaglandins synthesis; ii.Vitamin C blocks copper action in enzyme tyrosinase (copper dependent); iii.Niacinamide inhibits melanogenesis by decreasing the melanin transfer to melanosomes; iiii.N-acetylglucosamine inhibits glycosylation from protirosinase to tyrosinase. This facial and corporal hyperpigmentation treatment has proved been effective in 100% of treated patients. The treatment is safe, simple and with low material cost.
