This study described the lived experiences of newly hired teachers about their journey towards achieving the goal of imparting knowledge among their students and in attaining excellence in their chosen profession. The testimonies of the participants provided the basis for policy recommendations. The study examined the challenges faced by ten newly hired teachers in Sanchez Mira District during the post-pandemic era, aiming to provide insights into the factors and adaptability they faced, thereby benefiting other potential teachers. Four themes were constructed- redefining education: the new teacher’s role; teaching in transition, navigating instructional challenges; thriving under pressure: coping strategies for new teachers’ challenges; and rebuilding, recovering, reimagining: a multifaceted intervention plan. The study highlighted the challenges faced by educators during the pandemic, primarily related to literacy, academic achievement, language barriers, classroom management, and student behavior. Newly hired teachers faced challenges, seeking mentorship, attending seminars, trainings, and professional growth. An intervention plan, Project SERVE (Supporting Educators through Recruitment, Vigor, and Engagement), was recommended to help them overcome these initial challenges.
