Aeromycological Studies in Jowar Field of Mangalwedha Tehsil, District Solapur, Maharashtra, India
Mangalwedha come under the western part of zone with a large scale sorghum producing taluka in solapur district, Maharashtra. Fungal diversity exploration was carried out during the months of October to November 2022 in rabi season by using a volumetric Tilak air sampler machine installed with orifice at three feet above to the ground level in the field of jowar. Total 59 types of air borne fungal spores and others were identified and recorded in this season. During this rabi season the group Deuteromycotina was found to be dominant with 54.23 percent.
Read moreE-GOVERNANCE IN INDIA: EVOLUTION TO FUTURE CHALLENGES
From 1947 until 1984, India saw a great deal of discussion about good governance, with the transition from traditional to modern, effective administration at the forefront of all official discussions. After that, India saw a computer-based era from 1984 to 1995 and an Internet-based era starting in 1995.Twelve minimal agendas for implementing E-governance in all union ministries and departments were drafted by India in 2000. E-governance has become a practical instrument for increasing government accountability, transparency and responsibility. It also reduced the amount of time needed to provide services. But the digital divide is a significant issue in India's E-governance development, preventing some groups of people from using information and communication technology. This hinders the process of integrating people into government administration, which is one of the main objectives of E-governance initiatives in India. India is moving closer to being a fully digital economy, and E-governance is being applied to every aspect of government operations. Simultaneously, issues including the digital divide, infrastructure development for the process' overall success, public digital education, and electronic device subsidies must protect, closing the digital barrier across different groups of people, and closing the gap between those who participate in E-governance and those who do not.
Read moreEfficacy of Structured Teaching Program on Knowledge And Practice Regarding Endotracheal Suctioning Amongst Staff Nurses – A Quasi-Experimental Approach
Tracheostomy is one of the very familiar procedures performed in patients with compromised airway function. Professional nurses are required to perform tracheostomy according to standard procedures to prevent complications and promote recovery. The primary objective of the study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Structured Teaching Program (STP) on knowledge and practice related to tracheostomy in LHDM staff nurses. Dr.Prem General Hospital in Panipat, Haryana. This study used a pre-trial approach (one group before trial, design after trial) and the researcher selected 50 nursing staff from selected hospitals in Panipat, Haryana. Samples were selected using convenience sampling technique. The data collection tool was a structured knowledge questionnaire about endotracheal aspiration care that was used as the data collection tool. On day one, the researcher collects pre-test data, then a structured curriculum is introduced, and a post-test knowledge assessment is performed on the seventh day. Data analysis was performed with descriptive and inferential statistics such as chi-square analysis and “t” test. The results of the study demonstrated a significant increase in post-test knowledge after the management of the informational dataset. (p < 0.01). Practice was significantly improved after showing a PPT video related to tracheostomy (p < 0.001). No statistically significant association was found between pre-test knowledge and practice and certain sociodemographic variables. No significant correlation was found between knowledge and practice.
Read moreInnovative Irrigation System for Agriculture Development in Droughtprone Area - A Case Study in Sangola Tahsil of Solapur District
Irrigation is regarded as an essential part of sound infrastructure and is one of the mechanisms of agricultural activities. It motivates the farmers to adopt innovative irrigation system and go in far more intensive cropping there by creating new prospects for useful employment. However it depends relatively or fully on the nature and mode of irrigation which are governed by physio-socio -economic conditions of the region. In drought prone area like Sangola tehsil it is largely governed by physio- climatic conditions rather than socio economic conditions Hence it is the need of time to assess the innovativeSystem of irrigation facilities which impact the nature of agricultural development to a large extent. To overcome the water scarcity problem in severedrought prone area like Sangola Tahsil, farm pond which is advanced means of irrigation, employed in Sangola Taluka. It is now be coming dynamic means of irrigation. Here an attempt is made to assess its success and importance in irrigation and agricultural applies. Present study is based on primary data collected through rigorous field work. It has been supplemented by secondary sources of data, collected from the record of agricultural department, PanchayatSamiti, Sangola, District Statistical abstract etc. The analysis exposes that this innovative means of irrigation has proven its importance in successful cropping, farming in this region. It is an important means by which farmer can store the waste water and utilize in scarcity period of the year. This is an ideal example to overcome on drought condition. It seems to be lot of scope for extension of farm ponds for irrigation in the drought prone area wherever such type of condition prevails.

Food knowledge of patients at the first access to a Diabetology center. Diabetes represents a constantly increasing disease: family history, age and lifestyles represent the main risk factors for this pathology and for the complications related to it. Considering the importance of the diet for the prevention and treatment of diabetes, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the food knowledge of patients at the first access to a Diabetology center, and to investigate their possible influence on some blood parameters. Moynihan’s questionnaire was administered. The relationship between the scores obtained and the variables glycated hemoglobin, BMI, fasting glucose was analyzed by multiple regression based on the ordinary least squares method (OLS model). The response rate was 73.3%. The average total score obtained from the questionnaire was 23.61 and a statistically significant correlation (p<0,0473) was observed between the best scores in the questionnaire and the Hb1Ac values. This study represents the first step of a wider investigation with the aim to promoting patient training to verify over time the positive effects on food choices and clinical parameters.
Read moreThe Effect of Tea Tree Oil ( Melaleuca alternifolia ) on Wound Healing Using a Dressing Model
Numerous studies have shown the promising antibacterial effects of Melaleuca alternifolia, or tea tree essential oil. The study detailed here replicates in humans a 2004 in vitro study that used a dressing model over Petri dishes to determine the antimicrobial effects of the fumes of tea tree essential oil. The current study used the same dressing model with patients who had wounds infected with Staphylococcus aureus. Ten participants volunteered for the quasi-experimental study, and four of the 10 were used as matched participants to compare wound healing times between conventional treatment alone and conventional treatment plus fumes of tea tree essential oil. The results demonstrated decreased healing time in all but one of the participants treated with tea tree oil. The differences between the matched participants were striking. The results of this small investigational study indicate that additional study is warranted.
