FIVE WELL-BEING DIMENSIONS OF TRAT PEOPLE: A COMMUNITY SELF-MANAGEMENT MODEL FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT
Thailand’s development has long been shaped by a highly centralized administrative structure, which often limits the responsiveness of public policies to local contexts and reduces opportunities for citizens to participate in shaping their own development pathways. This study aims to examine how civil society networks at the local level can strengthen participatory governance and contribute to sustainable social development. The research is part of a broader project on social innovation for strengthening democratic communities within the context of Thai society. Trat Province was selected as the case study due to its strong social capital and active networks of community organizations that are capable of collaborating effectively with government agencies, the private sector, and academic institutions. The study employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to create collaborative spaces where citizens and network partners jointly analyzed community issues, exchanged knowledge, and developed strategies for local development. The findings reveal that public policy processes in Trat Province have been significantly driven by civic networks, particularly the Trat Community Organization Network, which functions as a coordinating mechanism linking various stakeholders and promoting integrated solutions to community problems. This process operates under the conceptual framework of the “Five Well-Being Dimensions of Trat People,” consisting of health, economy, environment, housing, and social harmony. These dimensions have served as guiding principles for participatory policy development and provincial development strategies. The study demonstrates that strengthening community networks and participatory mechanisms can foster a self-managed province model, reinforcing grassroots democracy and supporting sustainable development.

Primitive idempotents of a-constacyclic codes over 𝔽q and their minimum Hamming distances
Let [Formula: see text] be a finite field of order [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] be a prime such that [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text] are distinct odd primes with [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text] is a positive integer with [Formula: see text]. In 2022, Rakphon et al. obtained all irreducible divisors of [Formula: see text] over [Formula: see text] where [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. In this paper, we determine all primitive idempotents which can generate [Formula: see text]-constacyclic codes in [Formula: see text] where parity-check polynomials of these codes are shown in 2022. Moreover, we find the minimum Hammimg distances of the codes which are generated by primitive idempotents when [Formula: see text].

The objectives of this study were 1) to develop lesson plans using English songs with Think-Pair-Share technique based on the 80/80 criteria; 2) to compare the grammar ability before and after learning English grammar through songs with the Think-Pair-Share technique; and 3) to study the student satisfaction towards learning English grammar through songs with Think-Pair-Share technique. It was experimental research using a one-group pre and post test. The sample were 22 third-year students majoring in English Teaching Program at faculty of education, semester 2/ 2023, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Rajabhat University, by a purposive sampling technique. The research tools were 1) the 5 lesson plans using song activities with Think-Pair-Share technique, 2) the pre-and post test on English grammar, 3) the satisfaction questionnaire through songs with Think-Pair-Share technique, and 4) the In-Depth interview. For the quantitative research, the data were statistically analysed by percentage, mean, and standard deviation (S.D.). The content analysis was conducted by the qualitative research. The findings showed that 1) The song activities enhancing learning English grammar were effective, with scores of 81.96/83.89, exceeding the 80/80 criteria; 2) The students' English grammar ability has been improved after the learning management. The results were statistically significant difference at. 05 level; and 3) The student satisfaction of learning English grammar through songs with Think-Pair-Share technique was at a very high level, with <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$\mathrm{X}^{-}=4.75$</tex>, and S.D <tex xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">$=0.44$</tex>.

Flexible humidity sensor based on PEDOT:PSS/Mxene nanocomposite
Flexible humidity sensor is essential in emerging applications including health care monitoring, soft robots, human-machine interfaces and noncontact measurements for important indicators. This study presents the development of a highly efficient flexible humidity sensor utilizing a nanocomposite of poly (3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly (styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) and Mxene as the sensing material coated onto a flexible polyethylene terephthalate substrate. The nanocomposite was thoroughly characterized using UV/Vis spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscope and Fourier-transmission infrared spectroscopy to assess its quality, morphology, and chemical functional groups. The results show a good linkage of p-type PEDOT:PSS and p-type Mxene sensing nanocomposite. The PEDOT:PSS/Mxene humidity sensor exhibits high sensitivity of 3.27%ΔR/%ΔRH at room temperature. The PEDOT:PSS/MXene nanocomposite offers an enhanced humidity performance by synergies of direct charge transfer and swelling mechanism as well as hydrogen bonding and electrostatic interaction.
Read moreThe Analysis of Translation Strategies on Thai Country Songs with Critical Thinking in the 21st Century
The purpose of this research aimed 1) to study the translation strategies of Thai country songs (Lukthung) from Thai to English; and 2) to analyze the problems found in the process of translating Thai country songs into English with critical thinking. In this study, there were 15 selected song lyrics which have been released between 2018–2020. Both the quantitative and qualitative methods were used in this study. The analysis was based on Baker for poetry translation strategies and Duron et al. for critical thinking in the 21 st century. For the translation strategies, there were totally 8 strategies namely translation by a more general word, by a more neutral or less expressive word, by a cultural substitution, by a borrowing word, by a paraphrase using related words, by a paraphrase using unrelated words, by omission, and by illustration. The poetic form of Thai country songs represented the difference between Thai and English as well as the socio-culture between source language and target language. For the analysis of problems, there were main 5 categories namely 1) a deficit in Thai language skill, 2) a deficit in English skill, 3) the linguistic problems on sentence structure (syntax), 4) the problem on social and cultural context, and 5) the lexical problem for selecting words. The findings could develop the suitable translation methods and contribute to the teaching of the translation of Thai country songs into English.
