The C-band adapter for matching standard coaxial line and rectangular waveguide with reduced height is simulated numerically. The proposed design of this adapter provides high power transmission what can be useful in some applications. Numerical modeling shows that developed adapter exhibits a voltage standing wave ratio less than 1,2 with an insertion loss of 0,1 dB in the frequency range from 4,5 GHz to 7,5 GHz.

The paper focuses on the problems of the use of pseudonoise phase modulation broadband signals in the radar survey. The average correlation characteristics of these signals in the Doppler frequency range and the structure of the processing system, including a multi-channel frequency matched filter, are determined. Methods of protecting the signal detection systems from the effects of narrow-band impulse and passive interference are proposed

This paper deals with a method of setting the current distribution on single dipole arms in such a way as to enable its radiating characteristics to be generalized. Therewith, the capability of arms to have an arbitrary orientation and non-traditional excitation with a phase shift introduced into the arms currents together with a number of features allowing consideration of dipole printed-circuit implementation, is taken into account. The option was examined for proposed method to be extended to the analysis of multiple-dipole antenna systems with arbitrary parameters of individual dipoles.

The article presents methods of increasing the bandwidth. The attenuator is designed as a matched structures based on the planar film resistors. Achieved a significant expansion of bandwidth at a specified input microwave power due to selecting of each stage of transmission factors, providing the same amount of power dissipation.

Systems of LFM radar signals coherent packet processing with pulsed noise (PN) censoring at the input of matched filter (MF) and frequency threshold (FT), provided low level of false alarm probability from signals, reflected from point moving clutter (PMC), are considered. Characteristics of moving target signals detection are obtained and values of false alarm rate from PMC in conditions of simultaneously influencing PN are determined.

The ultrasonic irradiator for reflex therapy comprising of piezoplate with acoustic waveguide is described. The number of peaks on the frequency dependence of irradiation intensity is reduced when the waveguide length is decreased. Resonance frequency of ultrasonic irradiator can be determined using receiver (USR) of the same design.
