This article aims to classify and analyze the content of the Lao people in Ban Pha-O, Prabang Capital, Luang Prabang Province. The research design employed a qualitative study approach, which involved interviews, reading, observation, analysis, and classification. The collection of 10 people's lamentations resulted in a total of 27 lamentations, and the research tool used was an interview question. The results can be summarized as follows: The result found that there were 6 main types: lamentations about choosing a spouse; lamentations about vehicles, lamentations about equipment, lamentations about building a house, lamentations about plants, and lamentations about clothing. In particular, in terms of the content of the lamentations about cutting down trees to build a house or building a house; Contents of the poem "Kham Sok Van Kwa" (Worship of the Day of Planting Plants); Contents of the poem "Kham Sok Kong" (Worship of the Day of Planting Plants); Contents of the poem "Kham Sok Kae".

The purpose of this study is to study the copper refining process, wasted copper scrap, and the physical and electrical properties of melted metallic copper. At the same time, it is being researched as a means of promoting and developing the copper sector for individuals who choose to pursue additional studies. 900°C, 1030°C, 1040°C, 1050°C, and 1080°C with a burning time of 30 minutes to 1 hour, take the sample that melts into a liquid metal to form a copper ingot, then take the copper ingot sample to analyze the density, the surface of the metal ingot, the chemical composition of the copper sample, and the electrical conductivity coefficient. The research found that wire scraps brought in at this time are melted at a temperature of 1040ºC but are still not fully melted down. At a temperature of 1050ºC, it can be melted into liquid metal and made into a copper metal bar, it has a density equal to 7.91 g/cm3, and at a temperature of 1080ºC, it has a density of 8.63 g/cm3. The results of photographing copper metal under a microscope indicate that the color of the copper metal is brown, the rough surface is made up of holes and small scratches, and the microstructure of the copper metal is visible. The average electrical conductivity coefficients of copper bars burned at 1040°C, 1050°C, and 1080°C were 1150.62 ´ 103 (S/m), 557.15 ´ 103 (S/m), and 395.11 ´ 103 (S/m), respectively. Therefore, to manufacture copper metal scraps, discarded or degraded electrical wires can be burned at temperatures ranging from 1050ºC to 1080ºC, following a mold-making process.

The objectives of this study were to study and compare the problems for using GeoGebra application in learning and teaching of the mathematics teacher at secondary school as classified by gender, work experience and school size in three aspects including teacher based, hardware and using software. The simple group was mathematic teachers who are studying at teacher training college, there was 78 teachers in academic year 2023-2024 by accidental sampling. The research instrument was a 5-level rating scale questionnaire. The discrimination value between 0.20 – 0.79 and the coefficient reliability was 0.935; The statistics used in the research were percentage, Mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s Method. The research found as follow: 1). Problems of using GeoGebra application in learning – teaching for the mathematics teacher at secondary school in overall were at a median level. When discussion each aspect found: Teacher based is at a much level, hardware and using software were at a median level. 2). Comparing the problem of using GeoGebra application in learning – teaching for the mathematics teacher at secondary school classified by gender, work experience in overall and each aspect were not significant difference at the 0.05 level. Comparing the problem of using GeoGebra application in learning – teaching for the mathematics teacher at secondary school classified by school size in overall and each aspect were significant difference at the 0.05 level.

This study aimed to survey the prevalence of Fasciola spp. infection in cattle and buffaloes in Luang Prabang province, Lao PDR (Laos). To determine the prevalence of Fasciola spp. a total of 100 individual fecal samples (50 from buffaloes and 50 from cattle) were collected from smallholder farms in seven locations within Luang Prabang province. The samples were examined in the lab using the Benedek Sedimentation method and Mc Master egg counting techniques. The results showed an apparent prevalence of Fasciola spp. infection of 12% across all herds, with 5 native swamp buffaloes (5%) and 7 native cattle (7%) infected. When comparing three age groups, it was discovered that 25% (5/20) of all buffaloes infected with Fasciola spp. were 1-3 years old, accounting for 10% of all buffaloes. Among the cattle, 7 infected individuals were 1-3 years old, representing 14% of the 50 cattle sampled. Specifically, 20% (3/15) of cattle aged 1-3 years were infected, 14.29% (2/14) of less than a year old were infected, and 9.52% of cattle older than three years were infected. The results indicate that the highest mean infection rate occurred in animals aged 1 to 3 years (P < 0.05). A comparison between species revealed no significant effect of species on the prevalence of Fasciola spp. (P > 0.05). Farmers in the seven villages raised large ruminants on a free-range basis in paddy rice fields post-harvest and on natural fodder and pasture grass. Therefore, further research on the comparative prevalence of Fasciola spp. infection in cattle and buffaloes across different seasons and farm systems is recommended.

This research intended to evaluate the result of an instruction by using comparative local visit method for Rural development subject, which a subject of political students at the faculty of Education, Souphanouvong University; The research aimed to investigate the learning progress after leading student to conduct a local visit and learn from the real situation with local authority. The sample of research is targeted on the political students whom are the only one group to have the subject of Rural development in the curriculum with totally number of 5858 person with 2727 females included. The data collection is conducted by using the pretest and posttest to evaluate their learning progress difficulty level ranged between 0.40-0.86; and the reliability was of .84. The research found that the result of posttest after local visit is higher than the pretest in the class room with the significant level of.05; the learning progress of the students whom comes from different resident are not significant different; Student has very good attitude with the comparative method with learning by local visit.

The purpose of the research is: 1) To evaluate the readiness of being semi-autonomous hospital of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. 2) To study the comparative analysis of the evaluation readiness of the semi-autonomous hospital of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. The sample group in the study was the director and medical staff of the Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. In the actual data collection, a total of 70 people were returned, and the statistical program was used to analyze the data. Standard deviation and inferential statistics (independent-simples T-test and one-way ANOVA) hypothesis testing. The study found that the majority of respondents were female, aged 31–40, married, bachelor's degree holders, with 16 years of work experience, and had never attended a semi-autonomous hospital transformation meeting. The research results found that: the evaluation readiness to be Semi-Autonomous hospital of Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital as a whole has a level of readiness at a very high level = 3.88, SD = 0.89 which is the average value rating from large to small financial self-support has a level of readiness at a very high level = 3.99, SD = 0.95; followed by operational self-reliance with a high degree of readiness = 3.95, SD = 0.89; Administrative management self-esteem has a high readiness level = 3.84, SD = 1.01 and personal self-confidence has a high readiness level = 3.76, SD = 0.97. The results of the comparison by distinguishing by individual factors found that age, work experience, and participation in training in semi-autonomous hospitals have differences in evaluating readiness to transform Luang Prabang Hospital into a semi-autonomous hospital with statistical significance. 0.05. For other individual factors, there is no difference.

A challenge of data utilization is how to balance data utility and data privacy. For this reason, several privacy preservation models have been proposed. However, they can be effective and efficient in released datasets. They cannot be used to address privacy violation issues that occur in URL query strings. Therefore, a new privacy preservation model for URL query strings is proposed in this work. Furthermore, we evaluate the proposed model by using extensive experiments. The experimental results show that the proposed model is an effective and efficient URL query string privacy preservation.

This study focused on isolating tannin-tolerant yeasts from Miang, a fermented tea leaf product collected from northern Laos PDR, and investigating related food applications. From 43 Miang samples, six yeast isolates capable of ethanol production were obtained, with five isolates showing growth on YPD agar containing 4% (w/v) tannic acid. Molecular identification revealed three isolates as Saccharomyces cerevisiae (B5-1, B5-2, and C6-3), along with Candida tropicalis and Kazachstania humilis. Due to safety considerations, only Saccharomyces spp. were selected for further tannic acid tolerance study to advance food applications. Tannic acid at 1% (w/v) significantly influenced ethanol fermentation in all S. cerevisiae isolates. Notably, B5-2 and C6-3 showed high ethanol fermentation efficiency (2.5% w/v), while others were strongly inhibited. The application of tannin-tolerant yeasts in longan fruit wine (LFW) fermentation with longan seed extract (LSE) supplementation as a source of tannin revealed that C6-3 had the best efficacy for LFW fermentation. C6-3 showed promising efficacy, particularly with LSE supplementation, enhancing phenolic compounds, antioxidant activity, and inhibiting α-glucosidase activity, indicating potential antidiabetic properties. These findings underscore the potential of tannin-tolerant S. cerevisiae C6-3 for fermenting beverages from tannin-rich substrates like LSE, with implications for functional foods and nutraceuticals promoting health benefits.

Anthraquinone electrode materials are promising candidates for lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) due to the abundance of anthraquinone and the high theoretical capacity, and good reversibility of the anthraquinone electrodes. However, the active anthraquinone materials are soluble in organic electrolytes, resulting in a sharp decay of capacity during the charge and discharge processes. Herein, we report on a two-dimensional calcium anthraquinone 2,3-dicarboxy metal-organic framework (2D CaAQDC MOF) fabricated using a simple hydrothermal method. The 2D CaAQDC MOF not only effectively inhibits the dissolution of active electrode substances into the electrolyte, but also promotes the diffusion of lithium ion into the pores of the MOF. When used as a cathode for the LIBs, the resulting CaAQDC electrode delivers a high specific capacity of ~100 mAh g-1 at a current density of 50 mA g-1 after 200 cycles, demonstrating its good cycle stability. Even at a high current density of 200 mA g-1 , the CaAQDC electrode exhibits a specific capacity of ~60 mAh g-1 . The fabricated 2D coordination polymers effectively restrains the dissolution of anthraquinone into the organic electrolyte and enhances the structural stability, which greatly improves the electrochemical performance of anthraquinone. These research results offer a rational molecular design strategy to address the dissolution of this and other active organic electrode materials.
