This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the extent of implementation of brand-building strategies and the level of performance of BYD New Energy Vehicles (BYD NEV). It employed a mixed-methods approach, integrating quantitative descriptive and correlational analyses with qualitative case studies, interviews, surveys, and thematic analysis. Strategy implementation was assessed across four dimensions—brand core, brand messaging, brand identity, and brand application—while performance was evaluated using a Balanced Scorecard framework focused on financial and customer-related indicators. Data were collected from 2025 to 2026 during BYD’s global expansion phase, involving internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers at the company’s corporate and operational facilities in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China. The findings revealed that BYD NEV implements brand-building strategies to a moderate extent and achieves moderate financial and customer-related performance, with significant differences in assessments observed across age, educational attainment, and position, and gender differences evident only in strategy implementation. A significant positive relationship was identified between the level of strategy implementation and both financial and customer-related performance. The results highlight key challenges, including brand image rigidity, complex brand structure, limited marketing capability, and internal coordination issues, underscoring the need for stronger execution of brand-building strategies to enhance organizational performance and informing the development of an action plan to address these concerns.

This study aimed to examine the relationship between college students’ psychological well-being, their level of engagement in ice and snow sports, and their proficiency in these sports. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from college students in Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, focusing on their participation intensity, skill level in ice and snow sports, and psychological well-being indicators, while accounting for regional factors such as climate conditions, cultural background, and availability of sports resources. In recent decades, ice and snow sports have gained global popularity due to globalization, improved facility accessibility, and the influence of major international sporting events. At the same time, the psychological well-being of college students has emerged as a central concern within holistic education frameworks. In China, the 2022 Winter Olympics significantly boosted participation in ice and snow sports, particularly in Heilongjiang Province, where Qiqihar City has become a key area for promoting these activities among college students. Despite this growth, empirical research examining the psychological benefits of ice and snow sports participation among Chinese college students remains limited. By addressing this gap, the study provides evidence-based insights into how engagement and skill development in ice and snow sports are associated with students’ psychological well-being. The results are intended to inform educational policy, campus sports programming, and mental health initiatives, supporting the integrated development of physical activity and psychological health among college students.

This study presents the design and development of an online learning and examination system based on a dual-end collaborative architecture that connects students and teachers to enable closed-loop teaching and learning management. The student-facing front end provides end-to-end learning support, including secure authentication, a unified learning interface, course-based video learning, cloud-synchronized note-taking, and online examinations with dynamic test generation and anti-cheating mechanisms. By capturing and analyzing learning behavior data, the system supports an integrated process of learning, practice, testing, and evaluation, helping students monitor their progress and identify areas requiring improvement. The teacher-facing back end features an intelligent management console with four core functions: course release and review, instructional resource management, examination question bank maintenance, and performance analytics. Visualized score analysis, such as course-grade column charts, enables instructors to assess class-wide learning trends, detect abnormal learning behaviors, and enhance instructional decision-making efficiency. However, existing implementations reveal limitations in accurately identifying students’ true learning gaps. Current “weak link” recommendations rely primarily on surface-level behavioral indicators and lack deeper integration of error attribution and cognitive path analysis, resulting in generalized and insufficiently guided learning support. This study addresses these shortcomings by highlighting the need for more advanced learning analytics and diagnostic mechanisms. Overall, the proposed online learning and examination system demonstrates high compliance with the ISO/IEC 25010 software quality standard, particularly in terms of functionality, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, portability, scalability, and overall software quality.

The data analysis tool was thematic, with a specific focus on Campbell’s Hero’s Journey framework. The narratives of overseas Filipino teachers in Illinois reveal their pursuit of better opportunities and professional growth despite financial, cultural, and emotional challenges, with resilience and community support helping them adapt. Their experiences align with Campbell’s Hero’s Journey framework, as they navigate trials, moments of doubt, and ultimate transformation, finding fulfillment in their careers while continuing to evolve and give back. Across the journeys of these six Filipino teachers, common adversities include: Financial Stability and Living Conditions; Personal and Professional Growth; and Emotional and Mental Strain on Teachers.

This study examined the relationship between college students’ engagement in Martial Arts, their level of psychological resilience, and their academic performance. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining a descriptive–correlational research design with thematic analysis. The participants were students enrolled in the Physical Education (PE) program at Qiongtai Normal University. Using stratified random sampling based on academic year level, 112 students were selected to ensure proportional representation across cohorts and enhance the generalizability of results. The study responds to growing concerns regarding sedentary lifestyles, academic stress, and declining psychosocial well-being among college students—factors that contribute to mental health risks and reduced academic success. Martial Arts, grounded in discipline and ethical practice, has been increasingly recognized for its potential to improve psychological resilience, foster social interaction, reduce stress, and support cognitive and emotional development. These benefits align with national educational directives emphasizing holistic student growth and the promotion of a “healthy China.” Findings from this research provide evidence on the role of Martial Arts as a potential intervention for enhancing students’ mental well-being and academic achievement. The results contribute to ongoing efforts to integrate sports and physical activity into higher education frameworks and offer insights for policymakers, educators, and practitioners seeking strategies to support students’ physical, psychological, and academic development.

This paper studied customer relationship management system with decision support. At present, the fitness studio management system has accumulated a large amount of customer data, but the studio still has problems in customer management such as inaccurate customer target positioning and imperfect customer relationship management functions. It is still unable to conduct intelligent analysis, resulting in a decline in the overall management ability of customer groups. As such, customer turnover is high, and customer loyalty is reduced. To solve such problems, this research constructed a customer relationship management system with decision support, which can be used to identify customers with high studio and high platform loyalty, and with repeated purchase of GT fitness studio. With the purpose of helping the studio achieve accurate customer relationship management and business decision management, this study built an intelligent customer cluster analysis system through K-means clustering algorithm, which can automatically cluster customers into four (4) categories, indicate the characteristics of consumer behavior under each category, and screen out high-quality fitness customers with large consumption amount, high consumption frequency, high platform evaluation, high loyalty, and heavy consumption. At the same time, it also screens out general customers. Moreover, the intelligent group display of the clustered customers is visualized in the form of reports, and the visual display of each group is also carried out, so that decision makers can conveniently implement accurate group management of different groups of customers.

Life support robots in care settings must be able to read a person's emotions from facial expressions to achieve empathic communication. This study aims to determine the degree of agreement between Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Neural Networks (MTCNN) results and human subjective emotion analysis as a function to be installed in this type of robot. Forty university students talked with PALRO robot for 10 minutes. Thirteen area of interest videos were used to assess the validity identified by MTCNN was facial expression was happy or combination of happy and other emotions. Twenty university students and 20 medical professionals identified which of the 7 emotions (angry, disgust, fear, happy, sad, surprise, neutral) were present. Fleiss' kappa coefficient was calculated. Kappa coefficients of the emotion analysis for seven emotions ranged from 0.21 to 0.28. Kappa coefficient for "Happy" was the highest (0.52 to 0.57) with moderate agreement. Among female university students, only "Surprise" had a moderate agreement with Fleiss' kappa coefficient of 0.48. MTCNN emotion analysis and human emotion analysis were in moderate agreement for the identification of "Happy" emotions. The comparison of the agreement between the results of emotion analysis from facial expressions using non-contact MTCNN and subjective human facial expression analysis suggested that the use of MTCNN may be effective in understanding subjects' happy feelings.
