Integration of Distributed Generation (DG) into the existing grid, and communication being the lifeblood of any such system, is the answer to the rising demand for power. The characteristics of Wi-Fi are shared by 5G connections, which offers a peak speed of 1 gigabyte per second and extremely low latency (1ms), unlike 4G. To ensure an uninterrupted flow of power, this research focuses on investigating and establishing 5G communication protocols between the SCADA system and the solar micro-inverter of the solar power system. The 5G architecture protocol is designed on the NetSim simulator, which is utilized to gather and evaluate data, while the power system simulation is carried out in MATLAB Simulink. The simulation results show that 5G communication was successfully implemented between Solar Micro-Inverters and SCADA systems.

Effective decision-making relies on access to timely and accurate information, which is widely regarded as a valuable asset in the capital market. Accounting information is no exception, and it is critical for managers to provide such information promptly to advance their firms' economic activities. This study investigates the relationship between managers' ability and the timeliness of financial reporting, testing three research hypotheses through linear regression analysis. The statistical population comprises 115 firms listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange between 2012 and 2021, with 1150 firm-year observations. The delay in the auditor's report serves as a proxy for financial reporting timeliness. Managers' abilities are measured using Demerjian et al.'s model [1]. The findings reveal a significant, positive relationship between managerial ability and the timeliness of financial reporting, indicating that higher managerial ability is associated with lower financial reporting delay. Additionally, the results suggest that the relationship between managerial ability and financial reporting timeliness is moderated by the size of the auditing firm and the firm itself.

ABSTRACT This article is a Christian theological interrogation of the war in the Anglophone region of Cameroon between Cameroon’s army and Anglophone separatists who seek separation from Francophone Cameroon. It problematizes a facile understanding of Anglophone identity that places Anglophones on the one side and Francophones on the other, arguing that these identities are complex. It critiques theologies that appear to defend Anglophone separation arguing that these theologies are rooted in an inadequate understanding of liberation theology and a limited doctrine of providence. It proposes an African political theology that calls into question the theological legitimacy of the nation-state and seeks to transcend the binaries that often otherize and separate. This political theology, it is suggested, should have a pan-African and cosmopolitan vision.

Anthropogenic change is expected to alter environments at alarming rates. To predict the impact of modified environments on social behavior, we must study the relationship between environmental features and collective behavior in a genetically tractable model, zebrafish (Danio rerio). Here, we conducted a field study to examine the relationship between salient environmental features and collective behavior in four populations of zebrafish. We found zebrafish in flowing water formed volatile groups, whereas those in still water had more consistent membership and leadership. Groups in fast-flowing water were large (up to 2000 fish) and tightly knit with short nearest neighbor distances, whereas group sizes were smaller (11 fish/group) with more space between individual fish in still and slow-flowing water. These observations point to a possible profound role of water flow in influencing collective behavior in wild zebrafish.

Although the dynamics of telomeres during the life expectancy of normal cells have been extensively studied, there are still some unresolved issues regarding this research field. For example, the conditions required for telomere shortening leading to malignant transformation are not fully understood. In this work, we mass analyzed DNA of normal and cancer cells for comparing telomere isotopic compositions of white blood cells and cancer cells. We have found that the 1327 Da and 1672 Da characteristic telomere mass to charge cause differential mass distributions of about 1 Da for determining isotopic variations among normal cells relative to cancer cells. These isotopic differences are consistent with a prior theory that replacing primordial isotopes of 1H, 12C, 14N, 16O, 24Mg, 31P and/or 32S by nonprimordial, uncommon isotopes of 2D, 13C, 15N, 17O, 25Mg and/or 33S leads to altered enzymatic dynamics for modulating DNA and telomere codons towards transforming normal cells to cancer cells. The prior theory and current data are consistent also with a recently observed non-uniform methylation in DNA of cancer cells relative to more uniform methylation in DNA of normal cells.

The electronic structures of three previously synthesized Ni-coordinated chlorins with β-substituents of thioketone, fluorene, and ketone were investigated using magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy (MCD) and density functional theory (DFT) for potential application as sensitizers for dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSCs). Computational studies on modeled Zn-coordinated chlorins allowed identification of charge transfer and d-d transitions of the Ni2+ coordinated chlorins. Two fictive Zn chlorins, M1 and M2, were designed with thiophene units based on the fluorene substituted chlorin. Substitution with thiophene altered the typical arrangement of the four Gouterman molecular orbitals (MOs) and red-shifted and greatly intensified the lowest energy absorption band (the Q band). The introduction of the thiophene-based MO as the LUMO below the usual Gouterman LUMO is predicted to increase the efficiency of electron transfer from the dye to the conduction band of the semiconductor in DSSCs. The addition of a donor group on the opposite pyrrole (M2) red-shifted the Q band further and introduced a donor-based MO between the typical Gouterman HOMO and HOMO-1. Despite the relatively small ΔHOMO, M1 and M2 exhibited remarkably intense Q bands. M2 would be a possible candidate for application in DSSCs due to its panchromatic absorption, intense and red-shifted Q band, and the presence of the substituent based MO properties. Another indicator of a successful dye is the alignment of the ground state and excited state oxidation potentials (GSOP and ESOP, respectively) with respect to the conduction band of the semiconductor. The GSOP for M2 lies 0.55 eV below the I-/I3- redox potential and the ESOP lies 0.48 eV above the TiO2 conduction band. The impact of the thiophene dominance in the LUMO also supports the prediction of efficient sensitization properties. The remarkably intense Q band of M2 predicted to be at 777 nm with a ΔHOMO of just 1.04 eV provides a synthetic route to tetrapyrroles with extremely intense, red Q bands without the need for aza nitrogens of the phthalocyanines. This study illustrates the value of guided synthesis using MCD spectral analysis and computational methods for optimizing the design of porphyrin dyes.

In describing the nature of Christian ethics in America before some recent interventions, Stanley Hauerwas notes that the subject of Christian ethics in America was and is America rather than the Church. He finds this disturbing because it seems to marginalize distinctively Christian moral formation. This critique raises the question of the nature of Christian identity. What should Christian identity in America, Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, etc. be? This question becomes especially urgent with the rise of world Christianity which takes for granted the idea that Christians who live in different contexts perform the Christian faith differently because of said context. This paper argues that while the variety that exists in world Christianity is made necessary by the context in which world Christianity developed, when taken to extremes, it may, among other things, lead to ecclesial apartheid.
