Lipid Composition Analysis of Cricket Oil from Crickets Fed with Broken Rice-Derived Bran
This study investigated the effect of rice bran derived from broken rice feeding on the lipid classes and fatty acid composition of oil extracted from crickets (Acheta domesticus). During the final seven days prior to cricket oil extraction, crickets were fed either rice bran or control feed. The lipid classes in both the cricket oil and feed materials (rice bran or control feed) were identified using thin-layer chromatography, while the proportion of neutral lipids, phospholipids, and glycolipids was quantified by solid-phase extraction. Fatty acid composition was determined using GC-FID. Cricket oil from the rice bran-fed group exhibited a significantly higher ratio of glycolipids, which are abundant in rice bran, compared to the control group. Although both oleic and linoleic acid levels were significantly higher than in the control feed, only the oleic acid proportion was significantly increased in the cricket oil from the rice bran-fed group. Additionally, the ω-6/ω-3 ratio in each lipid fraction was significantly higher in the rice bran-fed group compared to the control group. These results suggest that dietary supplementation with rice bran derived from broken rice significantly alters the lipid profile of crickets and may represent a valuable strategy for enhancing the nutritional quality of cricket oil.

In this study, a novel WPT coil for use in the 85 kHz band was developed. We proposed a hybrid coil that combines features of spiral coil and solenoid coil. This coil has both high k value of spiral coil and high self inductance of solenoid coil. Experimental verification based on simulation confirmed high transmission distance of 95% and long transmission distance of 170 mm.

Leadership of the leader in creating tourism destination
Read moreRelationship Between the Axis of the Humeral Heads and the Spinal Sagittal Alignment in Asymptomatic Volunteers
BackgroundCurrently, there is no known correlation between relevant parameters of respective non-adjacent spinal segments, which suggests the possibility of a third external factor. To our knowledge, no study has examined the humeral head position in consideration of spinal sagittal alignment. This study aims to establish new parameters related to the humeral head axis and evaluate the relationship between the axis of the humeral head and spinal sagittal alignment in asymptomatic volunteers.MethodsStanding posteroanterior and lateral radiographs of the entire spine were obtained from 62 asymptomatic volunteers. We analyzed the relationship of the newly established parameters related to the humeral head axis We analyzed the relationship of the newly established parameters related to the humeral head axis and other established spinal parameters. The new parameters are: shoulder tilt (ST: the angle between a line drawn from the center of the humeral head to the center of the superior endplate of T1 and vertical line through the center of the humeral head), shoulder incidence (SI: the angle between a line perpendicular to the upper endplate of the T1 vertebra and a line joining the center of the upper endplate of the T1 vertebra and the axis of the humeral head), shoulder pelvic angle (SPA: the angle between a line joining the axis of the humeral head and the femoral head and a line joining the axis of the femoral heads and the center of the upper endplate of the S1 vertebra), C2 shoulder angle (C2SA: the angle between a line joining the C2 body center and the axis of the humeral head and a line joining the axis of the humeral head and the center of the upper endplate of the T1 vertebra). Statistical analysis was performed using Pearson’s correlation coefficient.ResultsMean ST, SI, SPA, and C2SA were 20.0±20.6°, 43.7±21.6°, 7.7±6.6°, and 17.8±13.5° respectively. The SI was found to be correlated with pelvic tilt (r=0.373), lumbar lordosis (r=0.351), and thoracic kyphosis (r=0.469). Pelvic incidence was correlated with SPA (r=0.724), T1 pelvic angle (r=0.691), and C2 pelvic angle (r=0.667). Correlations were observed between SPA and T1PA (r=0.955) and C2PA (r=0.956), and between TIPA and C2PA (r=0.985).ConclusionsThis report introduced novel parameters related to humeral head position and confirmed their correlation with sagittal alignment from the cervical spine to the pelvis. Humeral head position may play a role in maintaining spinal sagittal balance.
Read moreInvestigation of the convex time budget experiment by parameter recovery simulation
The convex time budget (CTB) method is a widely used experimental technique for eliciting an individual’s time preference in intertemporal choice problems. This paper investigates the accuracy of the estimation of the discount factor parameter and the present bias parameter in the quasi-hyperbolic discounted utility function for the CTB experiment. In this paper, we use a simulation technique called “parameter recovery”. We found that the precision of present bias parameter estimation is poor within the range of previously reported parameter estimates, making it difficult to detect the effect of present bias. Our results recommend against using a combination of the CTB experimental task and the quasi-hyperbolic discounted utility model to explore the effect of present bias.

Review of: "Time evolution and convergence of simple migration models"
This paper is interesting and very useful to start thinking about the modeling and setting in describing the migration (the expected tendency in the final outcomes.) Beginning with simple cases, authors present some extensions while it seems many more extensions have not been studied yet and to come in the future. It has successfully described not just the variations in models but also the ones in outcomes depending on the settings.
Read moreDecision Making Analysis of Purchasing SME Products in Indonesia E-Commerce Platform
This study aims to determine the order of criteria, from the most to least significant, that are considered by Generation Z in making decisions related to the selection of e-commerce brands in Indonesia, and also to find out which brand is most preferred by Generation Z consumers in Indonesia based on overall criteria and each criterion. This research was conducted using mixed methods (qualitative-quantitative). Data processing was done using AHP method with Expert Choice software. The research sample is Generation Z, who live in Indonesia and previously have shopped SMEs product at e-commerce. The results showed that the order of criteria, from the most to least significant, that Generation Z considers in choosing an e-commerce brand is the ease of use, promotion, payment system, product completeness, and product price. In addition, it is known that the order of Generation Z's most preferred choice of SMEs e-commerce brand, based on the overall five criteria and each criteria, is Shopee, followed by Tokopedia, Lazada, and Blibli.
