The increase in waste production, along with population growth, is filling landfills. Organic waste leachate formation. Leachate management is crucial because it can pollute soil, surface water, and groundwater. Waste is the solid remains of human activities and natural processes. Waste will be processed at the final processing site. Waste produces leachate due to decomposition and rainwater infiltration. Leachate testing requires laboratory analysis. Analysis can be done by measuring the physical and chemical parameters contained in leachate. Response Surface Methodology (RSM) is a statistical method for analysing data. This study determines the correlation between the main pollutant parameters, Temperature, pH, total suspended solids (TSS), and COD at the final treatment site. Data were collected from several sampling points over a period, and statistical analyses, including Pearson correlation and regression, were used to assess the relationship. The results showed a significant positive correlation with COD. The COD coefficient of determination (R-squared) of 66.74% was found to be quite high for all functional relationships, and mathematical models have been obtained. The purpose of this study is to examine how career advancement and the work environment affect worker motivation and how that affects performing at the Main Branch Office of Bank Jambi. This study employed a survey method together with a descriptive and quantitative methodology. The 59 workers of Bank Jambi's Central Head Office made up the population in this study, and the entire population was used as a sample (saturated sample). Questionnaires created using the indices of each variable were distributed in order to collect data, and their legitimacy and dependability were examined. In order to investigate the causal link within factors and the function of work motivation as a contributing variable, the data analysis employed PLS (partial least squares) analysis with the aid of SmartPLS software. The findings demonstrated that worker work motivation was positively and significantly impacted by career growth and the workplace. Additionally, it has been demonstrated that work motivation significantly and favorably affects worker performing. Additionally, the indirect impact test results showed that work motivation acted as a Intermediary variable within the work environment and advancement in career and worker performing. The study's conclusions show that a supportive workplace and a transparent, long-lasting career advancement program can boost worker motivation, which in turn affects productivity. In order to sustainably boost worker performing, Bank Jambi's Main Head Office is anticipated to keep bolstering its HRM policies, which are focused on enhancing the workplace and career advancement.

This study explores the needs of EFL students in essay writing as an initial step toward the development of instructional materials grounded in the Process Genre-Based Approach (PGBA). Specifically, it seeks to examine students’ writing difficulties (lacks), learning preferences (wants), and expectations (goals) in order to inform the design of writing materials that are meaningful and responsive to their learning context. A mixed-methods design was employed, involving 42 EFL students and three lecturers teaching writing courses at a public university in Indonesia. Data were obtained through a 25-item questionnaire and semi-structured interviews. Descriptive statistics were used to analyze the quantitative data, while the qualitative data were analyzed thematically. The findings suggest that students frequently struggle with organizing their ideas, developing coherent paragraphs, and applying grammatical structures accurately. At the same time, they show a clear preference for guided instruction, the use of model texts, and writing activities supported by feedback. In terms of expectations, students express a strong interest in writing materials that are structured, reflective, and motivating. These findings suggest that PGBA is well-suited to addressing students’ needs, as it combines process-oriented writing with genre awareness and provides systematic scaffolding throughout the recursive stages of writing. Overall, the study demonstrates that the principles of PGBA align closely with students’ needs and expectations, supporting its use as a pedagogical framework for EFL writing instruction and materials development.

Spodoptera frugiperda is a major pest of maize, capable of causing damage throughout all crop growth stages. This study evaluated the use of sex pheromone traps to monitor adult male populations of S. frugiperda, characterize population dynamics during maize growth, and determine optimal trap density under field conditions. A trap density experiment was conducted using four pheromone trap densities (10, 20, 30, and 40 trap/ha⁻¹), each replicated five times. Adult moth captures were recorded at 7-day intervals from trap installation until harvest. In a separate assessment, the intensity of leaf and ear damage was compared between maize plots equipped with pheromone traps and conventional plots without pheromone deployment. Adult capture data revealed clear population fluctuations, with peak abundance occurring during the early vegetative stage of maize, followed by a gradual decline toward harvest. Increasing trap density significantly increased the number of male moths captured, indicating a density-dependent response to pheromone deployment. Maize plots with pheromone traps consistently exhibited lower leaf and ear damage than conventional plots, demonstrating a strong association between reduced adult populations and decreased crop injury. These results indicate that pheromone traps are effective tools for monitoring S. frugiperda populations and for identifying critical intervention periods within an integrated pest management (IPM) framework. While primarily serving as monitoring devices, higher trap densities also showed potential to reduce mating success when deployed over sufficiently large areas. The species-specific nature of pheromone traps further supports environmentally sustainable pest management by minimizing non-target effects.

The Kerinci area and the city of Sungai TFull are one of the areas prone to earthquakes because they are located close to the confluence of the active lemma of Sumatra and are on the path of the world's active fires. Of course, it is a consideration in the development of analysis in the planning of earthquake-resistant buildings. This study will analyze a 4-storey building that functions as a Library Building using the Spectrum Response Dynamics method. The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure of earthquake-resistant buildings in accordance with SNI 1726:2019. This analysis uses the ETABS program supplements. The results of the study stated that the structure had met the criteria for mass participation and basic shear force in accordance with SNI 1726:2019, but did not meet the eligibility requirements as an earthquake-resistant building due to horizontal irregularities and vertical irregularities as well as the exceedance of the intersection boundary between floors at several levels. The effect of P-Delta is negligible because the boundary coefficient of each floor is less than 0.10

The results show that service innovation and physical work environment have an influence on public satisfaction, both directly and indirectly through service performance at the Regional Revenue Agency of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This finding indicates that the positive influence of service innovation and physical work environment on public satisfaction does not occur directly, but is carried out (mediated) through improved service performance.

Public trust has emerged as a critical challenge for Private Islamic Universities (PTIS) in the digital era, particularly regarding the translation of Islamic ethical values from symbolic claims into concrete institutional practices. This study examines how the value of Amanah (trust) is internalized within Public Relations (PR) practices at PTIS in Jambi, positioning trust as both a religious-ethical principle and a professional standard that guides governance, communication, and digital engagement. Using a qualitative multi-site case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews with institutional leaders, PR personnel, academic staff, administrative officers, and students, complemented by observation of institutional digital platforms. Data were analysed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings reveal that Amanah functions as an internal governing logic, shaping leadership integrity, policy transparency, participatory communication, and digital accountability. Trust is further strengthened through inclusive leadership, open communication channels, transparent academic and administrative policies, and responsible digital governance. However, the study also identifies persistent challenges, including inconsistent leadership modelling, weak oversight mechanisms, limited digital literacy, and concerns regarding academic data security. These results indicate that ethical values alone are insufficient to sustain digital trust without structural reinforcement and accountable digital systems. Ultimately, this study contributes to the field by conceptualizing Amanah as an operational PR principle that integrates Islamic ethics with contemporary digital trust governance in higher education.

Participation in the labor market is a crucial indicator of community involvement in economic development; however, various barriers still hinder individuals from fully engaging in the labor force. Structural factors such as education and gender norms play a significant role in shaping labor force participation patterns. This study aims to analyze the determinants influencing labor force participation in Jambi Province, with a particular focus on the roles of education and gender. Employing a quantitative approach and logistic regression analysis, this research uses data from the 2023 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas). The findings reveal significant differences in labor force participation between men and women, influenced by educational attainment and marital status. The study also found that women with higher education levels tend to be more active in the labor market, although marriage can be a constraint.
