Lebo Taliwang Lake has been reported to be polluted by mercury compounds. This study aims to determine the occurrence of mercury biomagnification in the food chain in Lebo Lake Taliwang. Samples of water, tilapia, water strider and japan pond heron were taken at two sampling locations: inlet and outlet. Samples were tested for mercury content with a mercury analyzer. The results show that there is mercury accumulation in the Lebo Taliwang Lake ecosystem. The average of each sample was 1.95 in water, 99.5 in tilapia, 79.8 in water srider, and 948.09 and 143 in feathers and blood, respectively. Furthermore, the results of the biomagnification factor (BMF) value show the BMF>1. This means that there is biomagnification of mercury in Lebo Taliwang Lake. The biomagnification value of japan pond heron in feather and blood with nile tilapia is 9.52 and 1.43. Meanwhile, with water stider, the values are 11.87 and 1.81. This study presents the implementation process and an initial evaluation of system utilization, focusing on population data entry during the first six months post-deployment. The author played an active role in the implementation, including system deployment, technical training, and mentoring of village operators as part of a structured community service program. A quantitative approach was used by observing publicly available statistical data from official village websites. The analysis measured data entry progress by comparing recorded population entries in the system with estimated village population figures. Findings reveal significant disparities among regions, indicating uneven system utilization that could lead to imbalances in access to digital public services and administrative efficiency. This study highlights the importance of technical support, continuous training, and regular monitoring to ensure the success and sustainability of rural digital transformation. The results offer practical insights for future policy development and replication in other rural regions. This paper explores the dynamics of Orientalism in relation to the study of the Eastern world, particularly Islam, and examines the responses that have emerged from Muslim intellectuals. The study is motivated by the efforts of several Western Orientalists who systematically analyzed and interpreted Islamic teachings—including the Qur’an, Hadith, and Islamic history—with a tendency to diminish their values and authenticity. Using a critical textual analysis approach, this research examines Orientalist literature and Muslim intellectual responses. The findings reveal that Orientalist works often contain ideological biases and seek to influence Eastern perceptions to adopt a Western secular worldview, which frequently contradicts Islamic values. Muslim scholars have responded with strong critiques, targeting the motives, methodologies, and conclusions of Orientalist studies. This paper argues that Orientalism is not merely an academic endeavor, but also part of a broader ideological and political project aimed at dominating discourse and shaping the narrative of the Eastern world. The study highlights the urgency of developing a critical awareness of Orientalist productions and the need to strengthen authentic and balanced Islamic narratives.

This study examines the dynamics of language maintenance at Istana Dalam Loka, focusing on the role of various domains in both physical and virtual access to the site. Utilizing data from Google Search and Google Trends, the research analyzes the prevalence of different domains—tourism, historical and cultural, religious, entertainment, and educational—within the virtual landscape, and compares them to their physical reality. The findings indicate that tourism is the most dominant domain, both in physical and virtual contexts, followed by historical and cultural activities. However, despite the stream of external influences through tourism, the study reveals a strong resistance to language and cultural differences, as the local Sumbawa culture remains deeply rooted in activities conducted at Istana Dalam Loka. This cultural resistance suggests that Sumbawa language and cultures are being maintained through a process similar to a sociolinguistic diversity of 'melting pot,' where diverse languages and cultures are integrated to the Sumbawa language and culture. The study concludes that while virtual access offers an alternative platform for language contact and multicultural engagement, it is primarily locals who both produce and consume content related to Istana Dalam Loka in virtual access. It also ensures the continued dominance of Sumbawa language and culture. Keywords: domain, Istana Dalam Loka, language maintenance, Sumbawa language and culture, virtual access
