The low level of numeracy in public elementary schools in Pasuruan Regency, caused by rigid learning methods, necessitates adaptive curriculum management innovation. This study examines the implementation of GISIMAN (Giat Numerasi dengan Permainan) through a playful learning approach. Using a qualitative descriptive method based on best practices, the results indicate that the integration of interactive games effectively increases students' active engagement and eliminates psychological barriers toward mathematics. In addition to strengthening cognitive competence, GISIMAN simultaneously builds the Character Profile of Pancasila Students, particularly in the dimensions of mutual cooperation and critical thinking. The study concludes that GISIMAN is a strategic solution for transforming numeracy learning into a more enjoyable, meaningful, and contextual experience in elementary schools

Adolescence represents a critical phase in which menstrual hygiene management (MHM) significantly affects the health, education, and psychosocial development of girls. In Indonesia, poor MHM is prevalent due to limited knowledge, cultural taboos, inadequate school-based education, and insufficient Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) facilities. Although various school-based MHM interventions have been introduced, their designs and outcomes are heterogeneous, and a comprehensive synthesis of their effectiveness is lacking. Schools represent a strategic platform for implementing health education and promoting practical change. However, evidence specific to Indonesia, as this country has its cultural diversity, educational system, and national health policies, has not been systematically reviewed. This review aims to synthesise current evidence on school-based MHM interventions in Indonesia, focusing on their impact on adolescent girls’ knowledge, attitudes and practices related to menstruation. This systematic review is registered with PROSPERO (ID: CRD420251082789) and follows the PRISMA 2020 reporting guidelines. A manual search was conducted across three Indonesian national journal databases: Garuda, Perpusnas, and ISJD, from June 15 to July 2, 2025. Eligible studies were peer-reviewed, full-text original articles in Bahasa Indonesia or English, published between 2019 and 2024, with quantitative experimental designs. Inclusion criteria focused on MHM interventions conducted in formal educational settings targeting girls aged 10–19. Studies not conducted in Indonesia, not school-based, or lacking an experimental design were excluded. Titles and abstracts were manually screened, followed by independent full-text review and quality appraisal by multiple reviewers to ensure the rigorous selection and minimise bias. Out of 687 initially identified articles from three Indonesian national databases, a total of 13 articles were included in this review. The educational level of participants in the included studies was junior high school (9), senior high school (2), and primary school (2), with an age range from 10 to 18 years old, and the total sample was 960 students. The studies were conducted in most areas of Java (10), and the other three were from Bengkulu, Maluku, and South Sulawesi, respectively. The interventions in the included studies were experimental designs, with 7 studies being pre-experimental and 6 being quasi-experimental. Most interventions demonstrated improvements in knowledge and attitudes. However, evidence of sustained practical change remains weak due to reliance on self-reported, non-validated instruments. The review suggests the potential effectiveness of school-based interventions in improving knowledge, attitude and practice of adolescents regarding menstrual hygiene practice. However, a thorough evaluation of these studies revealed significant methodological limitations that must be acknowledged in interpreting these results. Future studies could explore the other effective interventions of MHM and use more rigorous instrument methods. PROSPERO registration number: CRD420251082789.

This study examines how modern national leaders use inaugural speeches to shape national ideology and express shared values. These speeches, often delivered during crucial political transitions, serve as rhetorical frameworks where leaders communicate their vision, moral stance, and governing philosophy to both domestic and international audiences. Focusing on four English-language inaugural addresses from Southeast Asia (the Philippines and Singapore) and Southern Africa (South Africa and Zambia), this research applies comparative thematic analysis to identify common and contrasting ideological patterns in postcolonial and developmental-state contexts. Using Braun and Clarke’s (2006) six-phase model, the study identifies and interprets recurring themes that show how leaders employ language to establish legitimacy, unity, and moral authority. Reliability was confirmed using Cohen’s Kappa (κ = 0.851), indicating a high level of analytical consistency. Findings reveal that while all leaders use optimistic, future-oriented rhetoric emphasizing progress and inclusivity, their underlying value systems differ. Southeast Asian leaders tend to focus on pragmatic governance, economic development, and institutional continuity, whereas Southern African leaders center their messages on moral renewal, democracy, and resilience, reflecting their nations’ liberation histories. The study contributes to discourse research by showing how political leaders in non-Western contexts use language as a tool for reproducing ideology and shaping collective identity.

When images can replace truth, deepfakes test the limits of trust and authenticity in religion. This study aims to explain the relevance of Islamic ethical principles in assessing digital visual manipulation practices, filling a gap in knowledge in the study of Islamic-based technology ethics. This study uses a qualitative approach with a normative-analytical research design, combined with contextual analysis, an explore the meanings, values, and norms contained in Islamic texts and contemporary social practices. The results state that religious deepfakes create an ethical and knowledge crisis because they make it difficult to distinguish authentic fatwās from fake ones, undermine the foundations of Islamic authority in the form of sanad, integrity ('adālah), and clarity of sources, and violate ṣidq and amānah through tadlīs, ifk, and distortion of meaning that has widespread impacts (mafsadah ‘āmmah) such as radicalisation, sectarian conflict, and a decline in trust in religious institutions. The novelty of this synthesis positions the phenomenon as post-truth religiosity. It proposes a framework of digital authenticity fiqh that goes hand in hand with digital literacy as farḍ kifāyah, so that practical policy responses need to balance the protection of religion with justice and the right to expression through transparent source verification, accountable platform governance, and tabayyun education.
