The purpose of this paper is to describe the application of dialogic learning as a method for discovering learning materials based on students’ lived experiences. Through dialogue, students are positioned as the subjects of learning, while teachers act as dialogue partners, facilitators, and designers of the learning process. The results of these dialogues are used by teachers to design learning based on the Reflective Pedagogy Paradigm (PPR), with the assistance of artificial intelligence (AI). This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with two teachers and seventeen Phase C students at Kanisius Kenalan Elementary School, Borobudur, Magelang as the primary participants. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and photo and video documentation. Data analysis focused on the stages of dialogue, the pedagogical shift by placing students at the center of learning, and the relevance of the resulting learning materials. The results demonstrate that dialogue plays a crucial role in discovering meaningful, contextual, and reflective learning.

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, which is the leading cause of death in people with diabetes. One of the main mechanisms contributing to cardiovascular complications in diabetes is an increase in cardiac enzyme levels, such as ACE, NO, CK-MB, LDH, and liver enzymes SGOT and SGPT. This study aims to explore the cardioprotective potential of a novel polyherbal nanoemulsion formulation containing Nigella sativa oil, Centella asiatica, and Moringa oleifera in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats. The focus of this study was to measure the impact of nanoemulsion therapy on cardiac biomarker levels, namely ACE, NO, CK-MB, LDH, SGOT, and SGPT, which play an important role in monitoring heart function in diabetes. The results showed that administration of polyherbal nanoemulsion significantly reduced the levels of these cardiac enzymes, including ACE, NO, CK-MB, LDH, SGOT, and SGPT, compared to the positive control group that was only given STZ. Therapy with higher doses of polyherbal nanoemulsion showed better therapeutic effects, indicating that nanoemulsion technology can increase the bioavailability and therapeutic efficacy of bioactive compounds from these plants in protecting the heart. These findings suggest that polyherbal nanoemulsion may be a promising therapeutic approach for reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications in diabetic patients, particularly through the regulation of cardiac biomarkers associated with heart damage. HIGHLIGHTS Cardioprotective Potential of Polyherbal Nanoemulsion: This study revealed the ability of nanoemulsion containing Nigella sativa, Centella asiatica, and Moringa oleifera to reduce heart damage in streptozotocin (STZ)-induced diabetic rats by measuring the levels of ACE, CK-MB, LDH, SGOT, and SGPT enzymes. Polyherbal nanoemulsion therapy successfully lowered the elevated levels of ACE, CK-MB, LDH, SGOT, and SGPT enzymes caused by diabetes, demonstrating a protective effect on vital organs. Purpose – This study aims to examine the effect of the LOC-R (Literacy, Orientation, Collaboration, and Reflection) learning model on fifth-grade students’ critical thinking skills in mathematics, addressing the need for instructional approaches that move beyond procedural learning toward higher-order thinking. Methodology – A quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest–posttest design was employed. The participants consisted of 20 fifth-grade students from SD Negeri Sosrowijayan. The intervention involved the implementation of the LOC-R learning model in mathematics instruction. Data were collected using a critical thinking skills questionnaire developed based on eight critical thinking indicators. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, normalized gain (N-gain), and a paired-sample t-test to determine the significance of the observed differences. Findings – The results revealed a substantial improvement in students’ critical thinking skills following the implementation of the LOC-R learning model. The mean score increased from 65 on the pretest to 85 on the posttest, with an N-gain value of 0.67, indicating a moderate-to-high level of improvement. The paired-samples t-test showed a statistically significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05), confirming the intervention's effectiveness. Novelty – This study provides experimental-based empirical evidence on the effectiveness of the LOC-R learning model, which has predominantly been examined through descriptive approaches in previous research. Significance – The findings offer practical implications for elementary school teachers, curriculum developers, and education researchers seeking effective instructional models to enhance students’ critical thinking skills in mathematics learning.

ntroduction: According to data gathered from the Medical Records Unit of Hospital (RS) X in Magelang City for the year 2022, diabetes was the most prevalent condition, with a total of 2,866 recorded cases. To enhance treatment outcomes for patients, particularly those with chronic diseases, it is essential for physicians and pharmacists to collaborate effectively. Effective communication and collaboration among healthcare professionals, including physicians and pharmacists, are crucial to ensure seamless service delivery. This study aims to examine the gaps in collaboration among healthcare professionals—particularly between pharmacists and physicians—by exploring the current implementation of collaboration, identifying the challenges faced, and recommending strategies to optimize pharmacist-physician collaboration. Strengthening this collaboration may contribute to improving the quality of life of patients with diabetes. Methods: This study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as interviews and focus group discussions, structured into seven distinct stages. The participants in this study include medical professionals, pharmacists, members of the pharmacy and therapeutics committees, hospital management personnel, and patients. Data analysis was conducted using explicitation techniques with the aid of the NVivo 12 software application, resulting in the identification of four key themes. Results: Through a qualitative approach, four main themes were identified. The first theme is the role of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, where the committee is responsible for drug selection, monitoring expired medications, compiling and distributing the hospital formulary, and providing appropriate therapy recommendations. The second theme is collaboration implementation, which is carried out through regular meetings, patient education, confirmation of drug availability and usage instructions, as well as coordination among healthcare professionals. The third theme is efforts to enhance collaboration, which include formulary updates, evaluation of drug needs, education for patients and medical personnel, and strengthening of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and interprofessional communication. The fourth theme is collaboration barriers, which include limitations in human resources, delayed communication, suboptimal evaluation of pharmaceutical personnel, and collaboration that is not yet fully integrated. Conclusion: The partnership between doctors and pharmacists at Hospital X in Magelang City in providing care for diabetes mellitus patients is in place but requires further optimization. To strengthen collaboration, the hospital can implement a structured interprofessional framework, including formal communication channels, cross-professional training, supportive internal policies, and active involvement of hospital management. These efforts are expected to enhance team effectiveness and improve the overall quality of patient care.

The lowland area of Indonesia has economic potential to develop as a major centre for dairy farming businesses. Still, there is a foremost matter: overheated irradiation immersed in damped air would increase the heat stress level. The present study was conducted to assess the heat stress tolerance level of lowland Indonesian Holstein cows, characterized by a dominant level of Black and White (B/W) pigmented skin coat. This study involved 34 heads of Holstein cows that were cared for in Eastern Jakarta. Breathing frequency (BF), rectum's warmth (RW), pulse rate (PL), white-skinned spot temperature (WSST), black-skinned spot temperature (BSST), average temperature rounded skin (ATRS), back region temperature (BRT), chest region temperature (CRT), upper-leg temperature (ULT), lower-leg temperature (LLT), skin's temperature (ST), body's temperature (BT), and heat tolerance coefficient (HTC) as variables were checked statistically with R 4.4.2 type software comprised correlation and independent t-test. Cows B/W classification performed with the imageJ 1.54g series program. Those analyses showed that most lowland Indonesian Holsteins were characterized by black-pigmented dominant cows (BDC). The pigmentation of both lateral sides of the body generated a significant correlation (p<0.05 and p<0.01) with several vital symptoms, including WSST, ATRS, ST, BT, and HTC, but only in the BDC Holstein class. The test of mean distinction between the two classes (BDC and WDC) produced statistically insignificant differences (p>0.05) in all measurable vital symptoms; all variables showed trends indicating that the BDC class had a greater response to heat stress. The BDC Holstein type selection base had high expectations of elevating the HTC score in Indonesian lowland cows, as the closing decision.
