This study aims to evaluate the quality of Suroboyo Bus public transportation services to fulfil the rights of persons with disabilities to accessibility in the city of Surabaya. Inclusive public transportation in this context is one of the important indicators in realising equality. Descriptive qualitative research was used as the research approach with interviews, observations, and documentation as research instruments. The research informants consisted of persons with disabilities who are users of Suroboyo Bus, field officers (helpers and drivers), and representatives from the Surabaya City Transportation Agency. Service evaluation was carried out based on six policy evaluation indicators according to William N. Dunn, namely: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness, and accuracy. The implications of the study show that although Suroboyo Bus has provided several special facilities and free services for persons with disabilities, implementation in the field still faces various challenges. Some of the obstacles found include a lack of training for officers, low public understanding of special facilities for persons with disabilities, limited physical facilities, and a suboptimal identification system and services for persons with disabilities whose disabilities are not physically apparent. Therefore, systematic improvements are needed in terms of technology, policy, and public education so that public transportation services in Surabaya are truly inclusive and guarantee accessibility rights for all groups with disabilities.

ABSTRAK Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) berbasis komunitas, seperti warung kopi, menghadapi tantangan dalam merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha yang selaras dengan aspirasi pelaku usaha sekaligus terukur secara sistematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha UMKM Warkop Nabara melalui integrasi analisis Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, dan Results (SOAR) dengan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis SOAR digunakan sebagai tahap eksploratif untuk mengidentifikasi faktor strategis dan aspirasi pelaku usaha, yang selanjutnya diformalkan ke dalam matriks Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) dan External Factor Evaluation (EFE). Posisi strategis usaha ditentukan menggunakan matriks Internal–External (IE), sedangkan strategi prioritas ditetapkan melalui QSPM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Warkop Nabara berada pada posisi Kuadran V (hold and maintain) dengan nilai IFE sebesar 2,77 dan EFE sebesar 2,70. Strategi optimalisasi promosi digital memperoleh nilai Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) tertinggi, sehingga menjadi prioritas utama untuk diimplementasikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis berupa rekomendasi strategi yang aplikatif serta kontribusi akademik dalam memperkaya penerapan integrasi SOAR dan QSPM pada pengembangan UMKM berbasis komunitas. ABSTRACT Community-based Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), such as coffee shops, face challenges in formulating development strategies that align with entrepreneurs’ aspirations while remaining systematically measurable. This study aims to formulate an optimal business development strategy for Warkop Nabara MSME through the integration of Strengths, Opportunities, Aspirations, and Results (SOAR) analysis with the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). A descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. SOAR analysis was used as an exploratory stage to identify strategic factors and business aspirations, which were subsequently formalized into the Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) and External Factor Evaluation (EFE) matrices. The strategic position of the business was determined using the Internal–External (IE) matrix, while priority strategies were identified through QSPM. The results indicate that Warkop Nabara is positioned in Quadrant V (hold and maintain), with an IFE score of 2.77 and an EFE score of 2.70. The digital promotion optimization strategy achieved the highest Total Attractiveness Score (TAS), making it the top priority for implementation. This study contributes practically by providing applicable strategic recommendations and academically by enriching the application of integrated SOAR–QSPM analysis in the development of community-based MSMEs.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan metode mendongeng dalam pembentukan karakter Islami pada anak usia dini di TK Harapan Surabaya, mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai karakter yang disampaikan melalui cerita, serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap perilaku anak. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dan kajian kepustakaan, penelitian menemukan bahwa mendongeng menjadi media yang efektif dalam menanamkan nilai kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kedisiplinan, empati, dan sopan santun. Guru menggunakan berbagai teknik seperti variasi suara, ekspresi, alat peraga, dan diskusi reflektif untuk memperkuat pemahaman nilai moral anak. Hasilnya, anak menunjukkan perubahan perilaku positif seperti peningkatan fokus, kebiasaan salam, kepedulian terhadap teman, dan kemandirian. Faktor pendukung penelitian meliputi kebiasaan sekolah, kesadaran anak, serta keterlibatan orang tua, sementara faktor penghambat mencakup latar belakang keluarga, pengaruh lingkungan, dan keterbatasan sarana. Secara keseluruhan, metode mendongeng terbukti efektif dan relevan sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran karakter Islami pada anak usia dini.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh umur perusahaan, ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan media exposure terhadap pengungkapan emisi karbon pada perusahaan sektor energi dan transportasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2019–2023. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi linear berganda. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 128 perusahaan yang ditentukan melalui metode purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ukuran perusahaan, profitabilitas, dan media exposure berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengungkapan emisi karbon. Sementara itu, umur perusahaan tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi para pemangku kepentingan terutama dalam mendorong transparansi dan akuntabilitas perusahaan terkait tanggung jawab lingkungan.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemahaman kewajiban pajak dan kesadaran wajib pajak terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak bagi penjual online. Tipe penelitian yang diterapkan dalam studi ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode analisis deskriptif. Target populasi dalam penelitian ini mencakup semua penjual online yang terdaftar di marketplace. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah convenience sampling, yaitu mengambil sampel dengan cara yang mudah, yaitu responden yang mau mengisi kuesioner. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan rumus hair untuk mendapatkan 55 responden. Penelitian ini menerapkan analisis regresi berganda, dan dalam pengolahan data, peneliti memanfaatkan aplikasi IBM SPSS 30. Temuan dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemahaman wajib pajak tidak memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak, sedangkan kesadaran wajib pajak memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap kepatuhan wajib pajak.

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational culture and work motivation on employee performance at a traditional medicinal powder company in Surabaya. A quantitative approach was employed using a survey method with a Likert-scale questionnaire. The sample was determined using Slovin’s formula, involving 71 randomly selected respondents. Data were analyzed through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression using SPSS version 25. The results indicate that organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation also shows a positive and significant effect, and it is identified as the most dominant factor in improving performance. Simultaneously, organizational culture and work motivation contribute 75.9% to variations in employee performance, while the remaining 24.1% is influenced by other factors outside the research model. This study emphasizes the importance of strengthening organizational culture and enhancing work motivation to sustain employee performance in the traditional cosmetics industry.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the quality of educational administration services on the satisfaction of fourth, fifth, and sixth-grade students at UPT SDN Karanganyar, Pasuruan City, in the 2024/2025 academic year. Service quality was measured using five SERVQUAL dimensions (tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy), while student satisfaction was measured through indicators of expectation fulfillment, accessibility, service speed, staff attitude, and overall satisfaction. A sample of 101 students was drawn using simple random sampling from a population of 135 students. Data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and simple linear regression. The results showed that the quality of educational administration services had a positive and significant effect on student satisfaction, with the regression equation Y = 15.322 + 0.768X

Critical thinking skills are one of the important competencies that students must have in facing the challenges of the 21st century, especially in learning Natural Sciences (IPA) which requires the skills of observing, analyzing, and drawing conclusions logically. However, in reality there are still many elementary school students who have not developed their critical thinking skills optimally. This study aims to analyze the level of critical thinking skills of fifth grade students in science learning in elementary schools. The research method used is quantitative descriptive with purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 58 students and 3 teachers from three elementary schools in Surabaya, namely SDN Babatan I, SDN Pradah Kalikendal III, and SDN Banyu Urip III. Data collection techniques were carried out through critical thinking tests, questionnaires, and interviews. The instruments used were test questions, questionnaire sheets, and interview guidelines. Data were analyzed using percentage techniques to determine the level of students' critical thinking skills. The results of the study showed that students at SDN Banyu Urip III had good critical thinking skills (67.34%), while students at SDN Babatan I and SDN Pradah Kalikendal III were still lacking, namely 47.43% and 50% respectively. Based on the results of the interview, teachers have tried to apply problem-based learning models and use learning media but the implementation has not been optimal and is still centered on the teacher (teacher-centered). Low critical thinking skills are caused by several factors, such as lack of variation in learning media, limited teaching aids, low student interest in reading, limited teacher time in preparing effective media, and minimal basic literacy skills of students. Therefore, it is necessary to apply active, collaborative, contextual, and student-centered learning models. Learning models that have the potential to improve critical thinking skills include problem-based learning, group discussions, debates, problem solving, and the use of interactive media such as videos or songs that have been proven to increase student enthusiasm and involvement in the learning process.

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the SIPANAS (Service Travel Information System) application in the General, Protocol, and Leadership Communication Section of the Surabaya City Government, as well as to identify its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research is important as digitalization in government services requires effective systems to improve efficiency and transparency. The study employs a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques consisting of interviews, observations, and documentation. The analysis is based on Sutrisno’s effectiveness theory, which includes five indicators: program understanding, target accuracy, timeliness, achievement of objectives, and tangible change.The findings indicate that the implementation of the SIPANAS application can generally be considered effective in supporting the administration of official travel services. The main supporting factors include strong leadership support, structured training for employees, and assistance from qualified instructors. Conversely, the inhibiting factors are technical issues within the application and limited user understanding of its operation. The implications of this research highlight the importance of strengthening human resource capacity and improving system reliability as essential elements for the success of government digitalization initiatives. The originality of this study lies in its application of Sutrisno’s effectiveness indicators in evaluating the implementation of a local government digital service system. Thus, it contributes academically by expanding the use of effectiveness theory in public sector digitalization studies and provides practical recommendations for the development of e-government in Indonesia.

Blasting in mining is intended to break large rocks into smaller sizes for easier transport to processing facilities. However, high blasting costs have become a major issue at PT. X, a coal mining company. A significant portion of these costs is due to the annual consumption of approximately 200,000 liters of pure diesel for ANFO mixing, amounting to IDR 1.8 billion. This study aims to analyze the root cause of high blasting costs using the 5 Why Analysis method and forecast potential cost reductions over the next 12 months using system dynamics simulation. The primary cause identified is the full reliance on pure diesel for ANFO mixing. As a corrective strategy, a Cost Down Blasting approach is proposed by utilizing recycled diesel and used hydraulic oil in the ANFO mix. Simulation results show that blasting costs could be reduced by around IDR 500 million, or approximately 28%, with pure diesel consumption reduced to 141,689 liters. In addition, the use of recycled diesel and oil could increase to 56,137 liters, compared to only 22,396 liters in the previous year.
