The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Smart Information Systems (SIS) is reshaping tourism experiences, yet their behavioral impacts in Southeast Asia remain underexplored. This study investigates the indirect influence of AI on tourist advocacy via SIS, perceived destination image (PDI), and perceived tourist satisfaction (PTS), grounded in the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework. Data from 100 respondents across Indonesia, Japan, and Malaysia were analyzed using PLS-SEM. Results show AI does not significantly affect SIS (p = 0.316), diverging from prior assumptions. However, SIS significantly influences both PDI (p = 0.002) and PTS (p < 0.001), which in turn significantly affect tourist advocacy (PDI: p = 0.036; PTS: p = 0.001). SIS explains 12.8% of PDI and 21% of PTS, while both contribute to 23.2% of advocacy behaviour. These findings validate the S-O-R model in a tourism tech context and suggest that enhancing SIS functionality can strengthen destination image, satisfaction, and advocacy despite AI’s limited direct impact.

This study aims to determine the effect of variations in the concentration of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on the total sugar, alcohol, and caffeine content of refreshing coffee drinks and to determine the level of preference for refreshing coffee drinks produced. This study used a complete random design (RAL) with a single factor, namely the variation in the content of Saccharomyces cerevisae (0.1%, 0.3%, 0.6%, 0.9%, and 1.2%) with a fermentation time of 24 hours. Each of the refreshing coffee drinks produced was chemically analyzed (total sugar content, caffeine content, and alcohol content) and organoleptic with hedonic tests including color, aroma and taste. Each treatment was repeated 3 times. The data obtained was carried out Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), if there was a difference between the treatment, a follow-up test was carried out with the Duncan's Multiple Ranges Test (DMRT) Method at the level of 5%. The results of this study show that the concentration of Saccharomyces cerevisiae bacteria has an influence on the chemical and sensory characteristics of the refreshing coffee drink produced. The higher the concentration of Saccharomyces cerevisiae used, the lower the total sugar and caffeine content, the alcohol content increases, and the more undesirable the taste, aroma, and color of refreshing coffee drinks. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the acceptable refreshing coffee drink was the maximum treatment of adding Saccharomyces cerevisiae of 0.3 grams, taste (4.3), taste color (4.4), taste aroma (4.4), total sugar content 3.7%, alcohol content 0.2%, and caffeine content 21%.

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity and credit risk on the profitability of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2018–2022. Profitability is measured by Return on Assets (ROA), liquidity is proxied by the Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), while credit risk is measured using the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio. The research employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to test the partial and simultaneous influence of the independent variables on profitability. Data were obtained from the annual financial reports of banks published on the IDX, covering a five-year observation period. The results of the analysis show that credit risk, as measured by NPL, has a significant negative effect on bank profitability. This finding reflects that the higher the NPL ratio, the lower the bank’s ability to generate returns on assets, emphasizing the importance of effective credit quality management. In contrast, the liquidity level measured by LDR demonstrates a positive but statistically insignificant effect on ROA. This suggests that although liquidity plays a role in supporting banking operations, its direct impact on profitability is relatively weak when considered independently. However, when examined simultaneously, both credit risk and liquidity significantly affect bank profitability. These findings imply that effective credit risk management is a crucial determinant of financial performance in the banking sector. High levels of non-performing loans can erode bank profits, while optimal liquidity management supports operational efficiency, even if its impact is not strongly significant in isolation. From a managerial perspective, banks need to strengthen monitoring of loan quality, implement more prudent credit policies, and adopt sustainable liquidity strategies to enhance profitability. For regulators, the results highlight the importance of supervising asset quality and ensuring adequate liquidity management in the banking system. This study contributes to the literature on banking performance by providing empirical evidence on the interaction between credit risk, liquidity, and profitability in the Indonesian banking sector.
