This research investigates the critical role of intercultural communication and cultural intelligence in global international organisations and their link to effective stakeholder engagement and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices. There is still a scarcity of empirical research focusing on global governance institutions like the United Nations (UN), which was chosen as a case study. Such organisations are one-of-a-kind communicative spaces in which people from various cultural, linguistic, and professional backgrounds work together to achieve common international goals. However, despite the UN’s prominent role in enabling global collaboration, the mechanisms by which intercultural communication occurs and adapts in such circumstances are little understood. Focusing on the social and governance dimensions of ESG, this research brings new insights into the work of the United Nations (UN)’s multicultural teams, as well as into the cross-cultural projects at the heart of this organisation and how they align with the goal of preserving local cultures in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study’s findings confirm the critical role of intercultural communication in engaging internal and external stakeholders and reinforcing sustainable ESG practices in international institutions such as the UN. Moreover, the managerial implications of the research could be of relevance to other global organisations which operate across diverse cultural contexts, where understanding and managing these differences become essential for fostering trust, collaboration, and responsibility. The paper proposes a conceptual framework verified through corroborated semistructured interviews to illustrate how intercultural communication enhances inclusivity, tailors ESG strategies to cultural contexts, and improves organisational decision-making and accountability.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the soloist perspectives for the viola acquired new dimensions after the works composed by Paul Hindemith, Max Reger, Dmitri Shostakovich and Béla Bartók. The viola was increasingly present on the great stages as a soloist instrument. Our study will focus not only on the creation of composers Dmitri Shostakovich and Béla Bartók, but also on the legacy of authentic musical emotions, as well as on the synthesis of language elements, of compositional structures manifest in musical history up to these two famous composers.

Background: Athletics is one of the most suitable and appreciated means of achieving the objectives of physical education in primary education, as it is a discipline that develops physical abilities and coordination. The "school of athletics," with its three main subdivisions—running, jumping, and throwing—is present at all levels of education. Their importance is particularly significant in the early school years when pupils learn the basic mechanisms specific to athletic events. The objective of this study is to apply the postmodern concept of IAAF Kids’ Athletics in physical education lessons to determine the extent to which it contributes to improving children's performance in running, jumping, or throwing skills. Results: The research was conducted during physical education classes in the primary cycle between March 2023 and June 2024. The study involved 80 primary school pupils. All participating student groups underwent both an initial and a final assessment using selected IAAF Kids’ Athletics tests. The final results of the experimental groups demonstrated the effectiveness of applying the IAAF Kids’ Athletics teaching concept. The progress recorded by these groups was significantly higher than that of the control groups. Conclusions: The hypothesis that "the progress achieved by pupils in primary school physical education lessons could be significantly greater through the implementation of the IAAF Kids’ Athletics concept in classes" was confirmed. The study was validated both by the pupils’ concrete results and by the statistical interpretation of the data.

Psychologists consider self-esteem as being a human value that can be higher or lower, depending on the life experiences. According to Nathaniel Branden, self-esteem is ‘the ability to confront life's fundamental difficulties without losing hope’. Starting from this definition, it was thought that a study regarding the evaluation of self-esteem in 15-year-old pupils from various environments and social conditions could help spotting those activities based on which the youths can shape and consolidate their self-esteem. The hypothesis that started this study was the following: a hierarchy of the self-esteem components for 15-year-olds could help in increasing their feelings of trust in themselves, by organising and developing certain activities in accordance with their needs. The research was conducted in 2017–2018, on a group of 270 pupils. The study confirmed the hypothesis that the self-esteem level differs according to the pupils’ environment and social conditions as well as to their gender.

The topic addressed is of particular importance given that IT crime (cybercrime) is steadily increasing and it is difficult to control it due to the rapid expansion of the developments in the field. In this paper, we, firstly, define the notions of cybercrime and personal data. Then, we extensively present some relevant decisions, delivered by the Constitutional Court of Romania, on issues related to the IT field. The interesting aspects of the Constitutional Court's vision on this area, which is the topic of this research, are highlighted in the presentation. The subject under analysis is very topical, because, by two decisions of the Constitutional Court, Law no.289/2008 and Law no.82/2012 were declared entirely unconstitutional and, until the time of the study, they have not been replaced with adequate legislation
