This Mental Wellness Chatbot is a software-based solution created for the purpose of solving the incomplete alleviation of depression symptoms in a person. This mental wellness Companion is a chatbot that act as a normal chatbot while mainly focus on the mental health of the user. To accomplish this, we are going to be use various techniques and algorithms to create this chatbot. We are going to use API token of a pre-trained hugging face model in order to create this chatbot rather than using the Large Language Model (LLM) locally since executing the chatbot locally requires a lot of GPU power in the device in order to create and embed the data that we are providing as a dataset. Mainly we are going to be using a pre-trained model from the open-source hugging face model and we are not going to be using OpenAI for completing it. For the database we are going to be using the vector database Facebook AI Similarity Search (FAISS) instead of Mangodb. The mental health Chatbot app is like a reliable friend in the pocket, always ready to lend an ear and offer support whenever you need it. Through gentle questions and personalized suggestions, it helps to navigate the emotions and find ways to feel better. By tracking persons progress over time, it creates a valuable record of emotional journey, empowering to understand oneself better. With 24/7 availability and a commitment to privacy and confidentiality, it provides a safe space for a person to express openly and honestly. Whether the person looking for coping strategies, educational insights, or connections to additional resources, the Chatbot app is there to guide a person on their path to emotional well-being.

Wind Turbine Blade plays a significant role in the efficiency and durability of the wind turbine. As such it is important to identify different ways how the blade performance can be improved. One of the key variables that affects the blade performance is the stress the blade undergoes over time. This paper describes the stress characteristics of a Horizontal Axis Wind Turbine Blade subject to Aerodynamic Forces under normal operating conditions. The stress and deflection that the blade undergoes when subject to rated wind loads are analysed. The simulation results show that most of the stress was experienced at the interface between the spar and the skin of the blade and hence was ignored. The results also show that the skin stress does not exceed 120 GPa and the maximum deflection does not exceed 7m. The power production results agree for wind speeds up to 15 m/s, after which they deviate.

The present study analysed the mechanical and wear characteristics of a hybrid composite material made from Al 6061 powder treated as a matrix material and reinforced with microparticles of SiC and B4C ceramics.A total of 12 samples were fabricated via the powder metallurgy (P/M) method.Among the twelve samples, one sample was A100 (100 Al6061), and the remaining samples were combinations of SiC and B4C from 0% to a maximum of 15%.The manufacturing methods included cold pressing, hot extrusion, and sintering. The results demonstrated that the composites consisting of only SiC particles presented the best strength, whereas the maximum hardness was attained when only B4C was used.Compared with those with more SiC, the composites made via the P/M method in the present study, containing a greater proportion of B4C, exhibited the most effective hardness performance. However, SiC had a greater impact on the tensile strength of the hybrid composite. This work offers useful insights into adjusting the composition of composites to improve their mechanical and tribological capabilities. As a result, these composites have the potential to be used in industries that require materials with exceptional performance characteristics. The Taguchi method was used to determine the relationships among the wear properties, such as speed, sliding velocity and loading force, via signal-to-noise ratio testing in the present study. This clearly shows that increasing the sliding velocity and rotation speed results in faster wear in the hybrid composite.Speed was the most crucial parameter for wear out the object and least crucial parameter was sliding distance to control the wear rate of the hybrid composite in which both micro particles have similar compositions.SEM images of the hybrid object was treated with 3D colour full scan analysis to show the clear impact of the micro particles on the composites surfaces.

Researchers in the past have found that instructors’ levels of competence have an important effect on their ability to teach. This research aims to determine if there is a quality gap in Maldives’ higher education institutions between public and private institutions and between full-time and part-time lecturers. An online structured questionnaire was used to conduct a cross-sectional survey as part of the quantitative research strategy. Lecturers from both public and private universities took part in this investigation. The Mann-Whitney U test found a statistically significant difference between public (M=67.52) and private (M=48.07) institution lecturers in terms of competency; U=829.50, p=0.021. However, lecturers’ competency mean rank scores of full-time lecturers (M=64.82) and part-time lecturers (M=59.34) indicate the difference of mean scores of lecturers’ competency was not statistically significant, U=937.50, p=0.55. It is likely better recruitment and in-service professional development policies at public institutes are established at the institutional level, thereby improving lecturers’ competency compared to private institutes.

Loneliness, depression and sociability among the elderly population are recognized as critical global public health issues. Understanding the level and depth of these issues can be helpful for designing future public health interventions for this population. This study aimed to determine the prevalence and explore the relationships between loneliness, social isolation and depression among the senior population living in Male’, Maldives. This is an analytical descriptive study in which data was collected through a questionnaire administered in a personal face-to-face approach. This study was carried out in the four wards of Male’, Henveyru, Maafannu, Machangolhi and Galolhu among elderly people aged between 65 to 75 years (n= 312). The prevalence of elderly depression, sociability and loneliness found in this study were 56.1%, 64.0% and 55.4% respectively. The study also revealed that loneliness and depression were positively correlated each other (r =0.817, p < 0.001), while a negative correlation were observed between sociability and depression, sociability and loneliness (r = - 0.656, p < 0.001) and (r = -0.603, p < 0.001). Therefore, the study suggests to modify and implement age-sensitive interventions and address all the three aspects together to reduce significant adverse effects on elderly health.

ABSTRACTFrom the perspective of social archaeology, it seems bioarchaeology has been slow to recognize its social‐interpretive potential. However, I think that “community” might be the key to unlocking this potential. As an interested outsider, I try here to explain the motivations and priorities of social‐interpretive archaeologies, and to place the papers in this volume within the broader network of anthropological and archaeological theory. I also comment on the issues of boundaries and boundedness, scale, metaphor, and memory, all of which, one might argue, are social topics that have remained just beyond the reach of “traditional” bioarchaeology.

Abstract This paper examines patterns of punctuality with the Pakistani society. There are several dimensions which were logically related to “time” behavior. The first dimension is the temporal orientation. Are people more oriented to the past, present, or future? The second dimension is the set of cultural expectations which coordinate the behavior of punctuality. What are the social and cultural definitions of punctuality? The third and final dimension concerns the existence of sanctions pertaining to punctuality. On the second and third dimensions, an analytical distinction was made concerning the “sacred” and “profane” spheres of life It was found that the dominant time value orientation for our respondents woe past, present, future while the major variant was present, past, future. This value orientation further demonstrates the society's traditionalism. It was also found that expectations and sanctions were perceived differently within the “sacred” and “profane” sphere of life. The logical inferenc...
