Data Governance Approach to Integrate Techstrat Fusion for Enterprise Growth
Businesses are likely to be responsible for managing this perception as much as the reality. Implementing data governance (DG) scheme in Techstrat Fusion can help an enterprise unleash the full potential of data used across its operational systems. When it combines quality data with fast and low-cost data-in-use, the result is DG and agile information handling that optimise application of data to increase the success of industrial operations. DG principles are prerequisites that aim to increase the functionality of the data, their application, and their value while reducing compliance risks. Techstrat Fusion must also take account of business unit key performance indicators for data quality and adherence to implemented standards. The Techstrat model is an innovative approach to helping management delegate silent operational death and become more aware, agile, proactive, and decisive in guiding business value from the data capabilities of the enterprise. A coherent framework dealing with the integration of different Data Sources optimised by an integrated set of two or more analytics on the highest or lowest levels in a spectrum will give the enterprise a strategic edge in its quest for perpetual growth in understanding the data. An effective DG implementation has implications for stakeholders across the organisation. The specific elements of the Techstrat Fusion software solution are typically focussed on to measure and evaluate the impact of DG. The result of interest in any DG framework is the optimisation of the data asset, leading to bottom-line impacts for the enterprise.

This paper investigates the polyglot (multilingual) speech foundation models (SFMs) for Crowd Emotion Recognition (CER). We hypothesize that polyglot SFMs, pre-trained on diverse languages, accents, and speech patterns, are particularly adept at navigating the noisy and complex acoustic environments characteristic of crowd settings, thereby offering a significant advantage for CER. To substantiate this, we perform a comprehensive analysis, comparing polyglot, monolingual, and speaker recognition SFMs through extensive experiments on a benchmark CER dataset across varying audio durations (1 sec, 500 ms, and 250 ms). The results consistently demonstrate the superiority of polyglot SFMs, outperforming their counterparts across all audio lengths and excelling even with extremely short-duration inputs. These findings pave the way for adaptation of SFMs in setting up new benchmarks for CER.
Read moreTrends, technologies and the future of indirect radiation sensing materials
Indirect radiation detection materials have witnessed significant advancements in recent years, driven by the need for high-performance, cost-effective, and scalable solutions across various applications, including medical imaging, security screening, and high-energy physics. This review provides an overview of the latest developments in scintillators and hybrid materials, highlighting key improvements in light yield, decay time, and energy resolution. Additionally, the impact of nanostructuring, material compositional tuning, and novel synthesis techniques on performance enhancement is discussed. While recent innovations have addressed challenges related to radiation hardness and stability, opportunities remain in the exploration of novel material compositions and the integration of artificial intelligence for optimized signal processing. In view of future research directions, the authors focus on improving material longevity, developing environmentally friendly alternatives, and leveraging computational modeling to accelerate discovery. By addressing these challenges, the next generation of indirect radiation detection materials can be optimized for widespread adoption in diverse applications.
Read moreBioactive lipid profiles as non-invasive biomarkers of advanced fibrosis in people with HIV/HCV co-infection.
Non-invasive assessments for advanced liver fibrosis have limited accuracy in persons with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) (PWH) who have hepatitis C virus (HCV) co-infection, and new tools are needed. Our aim was to discover oxylipin profiles associated with advanced liver fibrosis in treatment-naïve patients with HIV/HCV co-infection. Serum samples from 40 PWH with HCV were subjected to targeted oxylipin analysis. A model with AST and seven metabolites, including 5(S)-HEPE, 8-HETE, 14,15-DiHETrE, 4-HDoHE, 14- HDoHE, 7-HDoHE, and 9,10-DiHOME yielded an area under the receiver operating characteristic curve of 0.93, with optimal sensitivity and specificity of 86% and 88%, respectively.

This report presents comparisons of maternal characteristics and infant outcomes of Hispanic women and their infants by nativity (whether they were born in or outside the United States) for all Hispanics women and for the six largest Hispanic subgroups by nativity.
Read moreBryophytes of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea (West Central Africa) VII. New records and range extensions of liverworts from Río Muni
Río Muni (Muni region) is the continental and largest part of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, extending over 26000 of its 28000 km2, placed between Cameroon and Gabon. The territory is quite homogeneous from a vegetation point of view: 99% of the area is covered by forest, around 20% of which is still primary. The lowland rainforest is most typical; only on the most mountainous areas is a less dense submontane forest developed. The current knowledge of the Río Muni bryoflora is still poor: 181 taxa (107 liverworts and 74 mosses) have been recorded so far. Data on 19 liverwort species in the families Cephaloziellaceae, Frullaniaceae, Lejeuneaceae, Lepidoziaceae, Metzgeriaceae and Porellaceae are offered. Six of them are new additions for the country of Equatorial Guinea, and seven are new for the Muni region (Río Muni). For each species, geographical distribution, altitudinal range, ecological information and accompanying bryophyte species are given.
