This study is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of modern trends in the development of international logistics systems on a global scale and, in particular, within the Eurasian Economic Union. Factors such as sanctions pressure, the consequences of the pandemic, the shift in traditional trade flows and the intensification of international competition impose fundamentally new requirements on the flexibility, sustainability and efficiency of logistics chains. As a result of the analysis, the author highlight several key trends in global logistics systems. Firstly, this is widespread digitalization, which is manifested in the introduction of technologies such as blockchain to ensure transparency and security of transactions, satellite monitoring systems for real-time cargo tracking and route optimization, as well as platform solutions (marketplaces) to improve the efficiency of supply chain management. Secondly, the concept of “green” logistics, aimed at reducing the environmental footprint through the use of alternative fuels and optimization of transport operations, is becoming increasingly important. Thirdly, in conditions of instability, active risk management is becoming critical, including diversification of suppliers and routes to reduce dependence on individual regions or corridors. In conclusion, it is concluded that the future sustainability and competitiveness of international logistics systems, especially in the EAEU, will be determined by their ability to adapt, the speed of implementation of innovative technologies and the success of the implementation of large infrastructure projects aimed at diversification and development of new transport corridors.
