This article analyzes the core concept of the education case of the Pilchuck Glass School in the United States to study art education of China. The author extracts a methodology that can be applied to art teaching in China from the cooperative thinking of "inspiring creativity, changing individuals and building teams" in Pilchuck art education, that is, putting the idea of cultivating team cooperation through the current art education. The education of art colleges should not only focus on arts and crafts, history and culture, but also study how to make students trained by higher education have professional qualities and team-integrated ideas. The article finally makes predictions on the future education output of comprehensive innovative talents and the realization of the optimization of the future glass art education system.

SimCity 4 (Electronic Arts/Aspyr) is a popular piece of entertainment software that has great potential for application in an educational context.Although students regard SimCity as a fun and engaging game, it is also a powerful and sophisticated environmental simulator.In this project, students used SimCity to engineer and maintain successful rural, suburban, and urban environments around natural landforms.This project was carried out through an NSF GK-12 Fellowship, pairing graduate students from the Drexel University College of Engineering with partner teachers in urban Philadelphia middle school classrooms.Through a series of lesson activities using SimCity software, students practiced and developed a number of science and math topics critical in the School District of Philadelphia 6 th grade curriculum, including landforms, environments, and the use of models to predict outcomes.They applied math skills to better understand scale as a form of ratio, used charts, plots and data tables to evaluate trends, and balanced income with expenditures.The success of this module's activities was gauged by written and verbal student assessments before and after each of the three activity phases.In these assessments, students were asked to articulate their understanding of various natural landforms and environmental processes, as well as the roles engineers play in the design and construction of towns and cities.

Abstract Optimal and consistent prediction of fracture gradient and stress path in depleted formation are of vital importance for well design and well integrity management. A modified and innovative concept for predicting stress path and fracture gradient for depleted intervals was formulated to ease well design and delivery in mostly conventional brown fields. It is imperative to further constrain the impact of poisons ratio as the major rock property affecting the stress path and fracture gradient evaluation considering the uniaxial scaling and variation of horizontal stresses generated by the strength interface of the drained poisons ratio scales in depleted formations. However, in addition to the modeling strategy, a rock property base stress path models (FRAC4Well model) was developed to account for the lateral stress variations at depletions for the change in minimum horizontal stress to pore pressure changes (pore-stress coupling). However, the study also considered the modeling strategy referencing linear elastic – constrained stress changes at different late time production periods within the reservoir, and the representative fracture gradient window. A stepwise validation strategy was formulated for stress arching hysteresis and it impact on thin/soft and thick/hard formations considering the sideburden and overburden impact for the different layers of the reservoirs as the horizontal stresses varies. A fast running semi-analytical model was also proposed to predict fracture sealing potentials after plugging and LCM selection during stress caging as a basis for fracture aperture closure mechanism. However, it is very important to have an accurate prediction of the boundaries of fracture gradients as the pore pressure depletes for optimal wellbore stability prediction to further mitigate challenges such as well control perturbations, borehole instability related NPT's and well integrity challenges that may arise as a result of erroneous fracture gradients predictions due to pore pressure depletion.

This article describes the phenomenon of therapeutic resistance and reactance from the perspective of the wounded self. The concept of the wounded self is first presented as it is applied to anxiety and depression and then extended to anger applications. The wounded self can be seen as deeply embedded in human cognitive structures (or core beliefs) of tacit knowledge. The operation of tacit knowledge is then described in everyday life as well as in the therapeutic process. Then there is a discussion of the role of resistance and psychological reactance in psychotherapy with implications for the therapeutic alliance. Finally, a case of a resistant client with anger issues using the cognitive hypnotherapy model is presented.

T. was a 12.5-year-old healthy boy with short stature. Linear growth was noted to decline at 3 years of age. Since then, he continued to grow slow; in comparison with the growth observed on his older sibling and peers of the same age group (no documentation is available). At the time of presentation he was below two standards deviations from the mean. At the time of his birth the mother was 32 years old and his father was 48 years of age. The mother's stature was 160 cm; the father's was 173 cm. His 18-year-old brother weighed 3.2 kg at birth. His growth and development were normal and his stature was 168 cm.
