ntroduction. The factors that are decisive in achieving high sports results in football and have a significant impact on the game activities of players, are technical, tactical, moral and volitional characteristics and physical performance of players. In our opinion, the individual typological properties of the central nervous system and the functional state of the cardiorespiratory system can have a significant impact on the outcome of the game and the game activity of football players. We suggest that there may be a functional relationship between individual typological traits that are highly genetically determined features of the central nervous system and the reserve capacity of the cardiorespiratory system.Purpose. To find out the reserve capabilities of the cardiorespiratory system of football players with different individual-typological properties of the nervous system.Methods. The individual-typological properties of the CNS and the functional characteristics of the cardiorespiratory system were studied in the elite football players. Results. In the course of our research, the indicators of the properties of the main nervous processes, namely, functional mobility (FMNP), strength (SNP) and balance (BNP) of nervous processes, were determined. The reserve capabilities of cardiorespiratory functions of sportsmen were established according to the following indicators: respiratory coefficient (RC), heart rate (HR, beats ·min-1), systolic (CO, ml) and minute blood volume (Q, l. min-1), indicators of minute tidal volume (VE, l. min.-1), oxygen consumption (VO2, ml · min.-1, ml · min.-1· kg. -1), carbon dioxide emissions (VCO2, ml · min.-1, ml · min.-1· kg.-1) and blood lactate (HLa). Correlation links have been established between individual-typological properties on the example of FMNP and functions of the cardiorespiratory system (r = 0.37-0.51). Originality. It was found that the balance of nervous processes (BNP) was characterized by the greatest reserve capabilities among individual-typological properties. Among cardiorespiratory functions, the greatest reserve capabilities were found for indicators - Hla, VE and VO2. The results of correlation analysis indicate that the cardiorespiratory functions of highly qualified football players depend on the individual-typological properties of the nervous system.Conclusion.We have determined reserve capabilities among individual-typological and cardiorespiratory properties. The greatest reserve capabilities are the balance of nervous processes and indicators of lactate in the blood, the minute volume of respiration and oxygen consumption. 42 Серія «Біологічні науки», 202 2During physical activity in groups of elite football players with a high level of development of typological properties of the nervous system, the characteristics of cardiorespiratory functions are much more pronounced. There are relationships between individual-typological property - FMNP and indicators of cardiorespiratory functions - НLa, VE and VO2 (r = 0.37-0.51).Thus, the functional mobility of nervous processes determines the reserve capabilities of the cardiorespiratory system, which in turn limits the physical performance of football players.Key words: individual-typological properties of the CNS; cardiorespiratory functions; reserve capabilities of functional systems.

Background/Context While the arts are being elbowed out of school curricula, new community-based education venues for the arts are emerging in cities across the country. This article describes Richard Hugo House, an arts center for creative writing in Seattle, which attracts people of different ages and sociocultural backgrounds who participate in not only writing studios, but in a wide range of activities such as literary readings and plays. Hugo House also maintains a gallery, a café, and a “zine” library, an underground collection of almost 16,000 homemade magazines from around the world. It has come to function as a civic space for the arts that fosters in participants not only a range of real-life skills, but also a sense of democratic values. Purpose This essay explores the theoretical underpinnings of a community learning place for the arts and includes some observations about how people of different backgrounds, ages, and skill levels engage with an art form and how the art becomes a pivot of dialogue for a larger community. Research Design In this particular civic arts space, I am identifying traits that make the learning environment a vibrant and inspiring one. For example, at Richard Hugo House, we are able to ask: “What do people need as they are learning to write? What does anyone coming to an artistic enterprise need? How does she sustain her work and improve her craft?” and we can trace the responses to these questions through the experiences of particular students and their teachers. Conclusions/Recommendations Good teaching in this informal setting is idealistic and pragmatic: it gives voice to more stories, and more stories help us see the “what ifs” of the world. Teaching at Hugo House facilitates more than it instructs—it's a process theory approach and our observations are grounded similarly—in action research. While good teaching lets more people be the tellers of their stories, it also helps to hone and craft them, making both the story and the telling of it culturally urgent. That, at its best, is highly democratic.

Background and purpose Over the past decade, women's handball has evolved towards increasing speed and rapid development of technical skills during competitions. Female players demonstrated a new technical and tactical approach and reduced execution time through the use of running and jumping exercises. Handball preparation requires an integrated approach to training, including the following components: physical performance, technical abilities and mental readiness. In this regard, psychophysiological functions play a key role in efficient movement and the implementation of special skills. Material and Methods A total of 24 female handball players (age 22.54; SD=2.54) and 17 male handball players (age 21.83; SD=2.69) were examined. We used a set of test batteries that assess the level of psycho-emotional state and neurodynamic functions. All tests are part of the computer diagnostic complex "Multipsychometer-05". Results The results revealed differences in some variables between male and female handball players. Male handball players had a high level of psychoemotional stress. This is due to the predominance of sympathetic activation. Female handball players had a balance of sympathetic and parasympathetic activation with optimization of the emotional state. According to the balance of nervous processes, male handball players had a balance of excitation and inhibition. But female handball players had a predominance of excitation. The decision-making ability of male handball players was faster than that of female handball players. This fact indicates a faster ability to process information in male handball players. The conducted correlation analysis revealed gender features of information processing strategies. In male handball players, the balance of nervous processes contributes to the optimization of the emotional state. In female handball players, independent decisions were revealed in female compared to male. Conclusions The results obtained showed that the peculiarities of the psychophysiological state of handball players manifest themselves in different information processing strategies. In male, this manifests itself in emotional tension, balance of nervous processes, and faster decision-making. In female, an optimal emotional state, predominance of nervous system excitation, and slower decision-making are observed.

Sport training has many positive aspects but it may also cause negative results. Injuries are intrinsic to the practice of physical exercise. The aim of the study was to determine the types and incidence of injuries in volleyball and handball players. Subject and methods. 71 professional volleyball and handball players took part in the study. The age of sportsmen ranged between 19 and 40 years. The authors’ own questionnaire used in the study-composed of two parts. One incorporated demographic data, and the other contained questions related to types of sport injuries, their locations, types of treatment, and the length of the injury-related break from training. Results. Handball players suffered more injuries than volleyball players. The most frequent injury in both studied groups was ankle sprain. Tearings of muscles, tendons, and ligaments, fractures, and bruising are more common in handball players than volleyball players. Lower limbs were the most affected body parts in both disciplines. Landing was the main reason of damage. The majority of respondents used physiotherapy treatment after the sport injury. Conclusion. There was an average of 3.7 injuries among handball players and 2.9 among volleyball players. The principal injury in both groups was ankle sprain. Tearings of muscles, tendons, ligaments, as well as fractures and bruising are more common in handball players than volleyball players. Lower limbs were the most affected body parts in both groups. Injury to the trunk, head, and neck appeared the least frequently. In both groups of respondents, the injuries were mostly incurred during landing. The majority of participants used physiotherapy treatments after injury. Laser treatment and cryotherapy were the most frequently chosen physiotherapy treatments, with manual therapy used the least.

Regular physical activities should be an integral part of an active lifestyle and the proper use of one's time. Programs including such activities are more effectively being applied in the prevention and elimination of health problems, especially those that are the result of decreased movement, inadequate nutrition and excessive nervous tension. Numerous studies have revealed new information about the link between physical activity and quality of life. Each person would have to be involved in physical activity of moderate intensity most days for 30 to 60 minutes, because active people are more healthier and have higher endurance levels, have a positive attitude towards work and cope with everyday stress better. Activity helps you look better, makes you happier and more vital. Studies have clearly shown that physical activity affects health and reduces the risk of many diseases. An active life increases energy, vitality, helps change bad habits, improves health, and strengthens one's energy and desire for life. The aim of this study was to determine the effects of regular physical activity on the human body. The subject matter of this study is the collection and analysis of results which the authors of various studies have obtained. The reviewed literature was collected using a web browser, and consisted of research work available in the Kobson database, through Google Scholar and in journals available in the field of sports science. The method of treatment is descriptive because the studies involved a variety of training programs, people of different ages, and tests carried out by different measuring instruments, so there is no possibility of a comparison of the results by other means.

Background: Although early detection of cognitive decline has a significant relation to improving the quality of life of dementia patients, this early detection has been difficult due to requires of neuropsychological tests which people generally take when they notice their cognitive impairment. The timing of patients’ notice was reported to be worse cognitive decline already, thus, we aimed to determine if cognitive impairment from a short interview by using Natural Language Processing approach. Methods: The present study used cross-sectional analysis among elderly outpatients and community-dwelling elderly from Septuagenarians, Octogenarians, Nonagenarians Investigation with Centenarians (SONIC) study. Cognitive decline was assessed by Telephone Interview of Cognitive Status for Japanese (TICS-J) and modeled as a binary outcome (cut-off <33 points). Natural language data was collected by semistructured interviews about health conditions and cognitive orientation in space, time, and place. We used an open-source text segmentation library to parse natural language text into bag-of-words and term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) representations. Results: There were 38 (19.9%) outpatients and 153 (80.1%) community dwellers, and 60 (31.4%) participants were defined as cognitive impairment. The maximized TF-IDF score was 0.49 in cognitive orientation in time questions. In this question, participants without cognitive impairment could not calculate the score. There were no significant differences in TF-IDF scores between participants with and without cognitive impairment. Conclusions: Elderly without cognitive impairment might not have an episode about cognitive orientation in time, and this may help for early detection of cognitive impairment

In the urban landscape, footbridges appeared along with the development of urbanization through the implementation of more complex spatial structures. The introduction of transport transit to cities or sometimes urban gravity towards the important communication routes imposed their construction in order to ensure pedestrians’ safety and smooth flow of traffic. The aim of the study is to determine how an overpass in the city of Trabzon is used by people of different ages, the security and motivation problem, the possibility of a footbridge, and how an overpass is perceived as a crossing over a highway. The study addresses the problem of safety and motivation related to the use of an overpass by people of different ages and is focused on the perception of an overpass as a crossing over a highway. The overpass connects the northern part of the city with the parking lot and the seaside boulevards in Trabzon. It has been constructed over the road no. D010, also known as the Black Sea Coastal Highway. In total, 124 members of the urban population who used the overpass participated in a questionnaire, which included multiple-choice and open-ended questions. The ‘Semantic Differential Scale’ was also used to evaluate the results. The research revealed that the respondents who chose the road through the overpass for safety in most cases used it relatively rarely (59%). People who used the footbridge every day or frequently marked safety as the reason in 39% of cases only. This means that as pedestrians use the overpass more often, they begin to notice other functional features of the footbridge. The results of the study showed that the overpass was most frequently used for the purpose of going down to the coast (76.0%), although 51.2% reported rarely using the overpass, which showed it was used very little by pedestrians.

From the point of view of diversity of large sports and enthusiasm sports to people around the world, football is an impact phenomenal, which spectacle and attractiveness of extraordinary keeps to himself the interest and enthusiasm of billions of people of different ages and gender all over the planet.. The specific characteristics of football game of football activities require assessing in the content aspect of technique and tactics prerequisite for motor activity. According to some authors, technical player’s actions express a special process of expression of specific skills and are exclusively dependent on the level of motor skills players. Football is a sport that kind of game is always connected with the participation of two teams. The aim of the game is in accordance with the rules of competition to score more goals in the opponent's gate and take victory. Typical for the football game are actions that are performed especially in the lower limbs and less in other parts of the body. It is forbidden to play with hands except goalkeeper and prescribed in a particular area. Player who controls the ball aims succeeding his players through collective action and the efforts of all the team players to pass the field areas in order to reach the gate of the opposing team to score a goal. In general football as a collective game it provides excellent opportunities for personal and collective expression of the intellectual motor skills of people of different ages. Relevance and purpose: the International University Sports Federation - FISU, almost always includes swimming in its program for holding the Summer World Universidad’s, which has received the title of the World Championship of University Games since 1959. Swimming has already been represented at the 1st Universidad since 1959, and almost 31 competitions have been held to date. The purpose of the gender is to determine the difference in the indicators of the formation of swimming motor skills among young people of different ages and genders at the XXXI World Swimming Universidad in Chengdu-2023. Material: The results of the prize-finalists were summarized and analyzed at the stage of their holding in 2023, after a forced break from 2019 due to the pandemic: among 100 men and 99 women, respectively, who became prize- winners of these prestigious worldwide competitions under the current Universidad program. Results: As the results of our research showed, the absolute leaders (top ten) of student swimming at the XXXI World Universidad in Chengdu-2023 in China were: Italy-30 medals (19 men+11 women), China-20 (6+14), Japan-17 (11+6), Poland-15 (8+7), South Africa: South Africa-7 (7 women), USA-7 (2+5), Brazil-7 (6+1), Lithuania- 6 (3+3), Hungary-4 (4 women), Portugal-3 (1+2). According to the results of receiving prize medals, the following ten were included in the second ten: Germany-2 (2 people), Taiwan-2 (2 people), Romania-2 (2 people), Cyprus-2 (2 women), Kazakhstan-1 ( men), South Korea-1 (1 man), France-1 (1 woman), among men the leaders of the competition were: Italy-19 medals, Japan-11, Poland-8, China-6, Brazil-6 medals , and among women: China-14 medals, Italy-11, Poland-7, South Africa-7, Japan-6, USA-5 medals. So, athletes were awarded: 42 gold, 44 silver and 43 bronze medals, and a total of 127 medals were awarded to swimmers of 17 countries from different continents of the world. The dynamics of the formation of swimming motor skills according to the possibilities of overcoming distances in different ways, depending on the similar gender difference in age, were clarified (men, x±m=22.59±0.82; women, x±m = 22.54±1.13 ; t=0.44; р>0.05) of the prize-winning participants of the final starts at the 2023 World Swimming Universidad: the total reliable difference in the average speed of men and women at all swimming distances is more than - 0.18 m/s (men ., x±m=1.84±0.15; women, x±m=1.66±0.13; t=2.349; p<0.05).

ObjectivesTo identify psychosocial and motor aspects related to joint hypermobility (JH) in a sample from almost all Brazilian states by age range and sex; to characterize JH by the Beighton total score ≥4, ≥5, and ≥6 according to sex and age and atypicality in the sitting position and in the hands; identify, in the total sample, manifestations of “growing pain” and its location, fatigue, attention deficit, anxiety, insomnia, drowsiness, apathy, depression, delay in walking, not crawling or crawling differently, school performance, spatial orientation and/or temporally impaired, social isolation, and being stigmatized as “lazy/clumsy/apathetic”.MethodsThis retrospective, observational, quantitative, and cross-sectional study used data obtained through analyses of descriptive and inferential crossings between 2012 and 2020 of 482 medical records of individuals between 1 and 76 years of age, from most Brazilian states. All patients previously diagnosed with “joint hypermobility syndrome” (JHS) and “Ehlers-Danlos syndrome hypermobility type” (EDS-HT) had their medical records reassessed, following the guidelines established in 2017. The analysis of GJH was performed using the updated method by Beighton method; atypical characteristics were investigated in the hands and the ability to sit in the “W” and the “concave” positions. The characteristics and manifestations of “growing pain” and its location were analyzed in the total sample, fatigue, insomnia, drowsiness, apathy, depression, social isolation, attention deficit, anxiety, stigmatization as “lazy,” clumsy/restless, impaired school performance, and spatial and/or temporal orientation. Descriptive and inferential statistical methods were used, such as Mean, Median, Mode, Standard Deviation, Standard Error, Maximum Value, Minimum Value, Komolgorov-Smirnov, Significance, Relative Value, Absolute Value, Mann-Whitney U, and Correlation of Spearman.ResultsJH in the total sample predominated in the upper limbs, the majority were women, represented by 352 (73.02%), 15 years old or older with 322 (66.80%), 312 (64.73%) had a Beighton total score ≥6, which decreased as the age increased. Always sitting in the “concave” position was represented by 54.15% and the ability to sit in the “W” position by 39.21%; signs on the hands totaled between 27.59 and 44.19% with a significant correlation between the variables. Among the characteristics, fatigue predominated, followed by an awkward/clumsy/restless individual, attention deficit, anxiety and stigmatized as “lazy,” insomnia, drowsiness, apathy, depression, impaired spatial and/or temporal orientation, and social isolation. From the total sample, pain in the lower limbs was reported by 55.81% and having or having had “growing pain” was reported by 36.93%, delay in walking occurred in 19.92%, 15.35% did not crawl or crawled differently, and for 12.86%, school performance was impaired. Higher Beighton total scores showed a trend towards motor implications and correlation between variables. Ability to still sit in the “concave” position was possible for 54.15% and to sit in the “W” position for 39.21%.ConclusionIn the total sample, the JH characteristic prevails in the upper limbs of female children, adolescents and adults, with a total Beighton score ≥6. Most sit in the “concave” position and less than half also sit in the “W” position and with atypical hand postures. The higher Beighton scores, which include the upper limbs, show a tendency to not crawl or crawl differently, delayed ambulation, and impaired school performance. The predominance of JH in the upper limbs is suggestive of a justification for not crawling or crawling differently. Characteristics of atypical motor performance in hands and sitting posture, in addition to fatigue, pain since childhood, anxiety, apathy, depression, sleep disorders, stigmatization, attention deficit, spatial and/or temporal orientation impairment, and social isolation are characteristics. suggestive of psychosocial implications at different ages. Future studies with motor and psychosocial aspects of people with JH will help to identify the phenotype of this population and consequent guidance for clinical management based on the motor and psychosocial aspects of people with JH.

To assess the association between heat wave and stroke mortality in Jiang'an District of Wuhan, China during 2003 to 2010. Daily data of stroke mortality, meteorological factor and ambient pollution were collected from June to September during 2003 to 2010 in Jiang'an District of Wuhan.Quasi-Poisson regression in generalized additive model was applied to evaluate the impact of heat wave on stroke mortality on different lag days. During the study period, a total of 38 heat wave events and 191 heat wave days were registered. The total stroke death was 2 455 (1 182 women and 1 998 people aged 65 years old and over). Quasi-Poisson regression in generalized additive model showed that after controlling for long-term trend and seasonal trend, weekday, holiday, and relative humidity, heat wave was associated with stroke mortality on current day with relative risk of 1.15 (95%CI 1.01-1.30). Heat wave was not significantly associated with stroke mortality on current day among men (RR= 0.98, 95%CI 0.82-1.18, P=0.848) and people aged below 65 years old (RR=0.90, 95%CI 0.67-1.22, P=0.500), but relative risk increased to 1.34 (95%CI 1.12-1.62, P=0.002) and 1.20 (95%CI 1.04-1.39, P=0.002) for women and elderly (≥65 years old) people, respectively. When ambient pollutants (PM(10), sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide) were involved into the models, the impacts of heat wave on stroke mortality almost remained unchanged. Lagged effects were found in the association between heat wave and stroke mortality, relative risks reached the highest on lag of 2 days and the effects of heat wave usually lasted for 3 to 5 days. Moreover, lagged patterns of the effects of heat wave on stroke mortality were different between female and male and people of different age groups.significantly increased relative risks were found on current day in the elderly (≥65 years old) people and women, while significant associations occurred on lag of 2 days for men and people aged below 65 years old. Heat wave increased the risk of stroke mortality in Jiang'an District of Wuhan. The effect of heat wave lasted for several days and lagged patterns of the effects of heat wave on stroke mortality were different between females and males and people of different age groups.

Some degree of cognitive impairment appears frequently in Parkinson's disease (PD) patients, even at the onset of the disease. However, due to the heterogeneity of the patients and the lack of standardized assessment batteries, it remains unclear which capacities are primarily affected by this disease. Fifty PD patients were assessed with 15 tests including executive functions, attention, temporal and spatial orientation, memory, and language tasks. Their results were compared with those of 42 age- and education-matched healthy seniors. Semantic fluency, along with visual search appeared to be the most discriminant tasks, followed by temporal orientation and face naming, as well as action naming and immediate recall. PD patients studied showed an impairment of frontal- to posterior-dependent capacities. Executive functions, attention, and recall tasks appeared to be significantly impaired in the patients. Nevertheless, significantly poor scores in tasks like action and face naming, as well as semantic fluency, also reveal a mainly semantic deficit.

Research in the area of misinformation online has identified various factors as the reason why people spread misinformation online such as availability of technology, entertainment, ignorance, to pass time, altruism etc. However, how these factors differ from one age group to another is not known. Research also suggests that people of different generations or age groups behave differently and are influenced differently. While people of each age range will have differences among them, they will likely behave similarly compared to people of other age groups. Therefore, in determining why people spread misinformation online, it is important to investigate any differences based on the age groups of online users. This will ensure that interventions designed to curb the spread of misinformation can be tailored to people based on their age. To contribute to research in the area of determining why people of different age ranges spread misinformation online, we surveyed 113 social media users of varying age groups. Our results show that the younger participants between 18 and 34 years are more likely to spread misinformation due to the availability of technology, entertainment, the need to pass time, the fear of missing out, peer pressure and trust in people online.
