The article studies the current trends in the use of information and communication technologies by Ukrainian enterprises in their practical activities during 2017–2019 years based on the generalization of statistical data. The object of the research is the information and communication technologies of the Internet as a key factor to ensure business informatization and to increase the competitiveness and economic security of enterprises. The purpose of the article is to analyze and identify the nature of changes in the dynamics and directions of the use of computer technology, information and communication technologies by Ukrainian enterprises in recent years. The work uses the methods of analytical-monographic – in the study of literary sources on the topic of research; analysis and synthesis – to summarize statistical data on trends in the use of information and communication technologies by enterprises; system analysis, abstraction, logical generalizations – in determining the characteristic features of the process that is being investigated; abstract-logical – to form conclusions. The data relative to the process of implementation and use in enterprises of modern information and communication technologies are summarized and analyzed. The areas of use of the Internet, which enterprises are mainly used to transmit or receive email messages, banking operations, obtaining information about goods and services, obtaining information from public authorities. The dynamics and directions of use by enterprises of websites, which are used mainly to serve customers and create electronic links to business social media profiles. The tendencies of the use of cloud computing services are analyzed, among which enterprises are preferred by the use of financial or accounting applications, Email and office software. The advantages, opportunities and threats from the use of modern information and communication technologies by enterprises are identified. It is proposed the information technologies that should be recommended for enterprises in practice in the context of accelerating business informatization.

The proliferation of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) coupled with sophisticated network protocols have unveiled new avenues for enterprises and organizations and the hospitality industries cannot be left out. Technology-based systems stand in a pivotal position to offer better service to the populace. Hospitality industries such as hotels can take advantage of the pervasiveness of ICT vis-à-vis technology-based systems to advance some of their operations. This paper seeks to assess the use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in a front office operation of chain hotels in Ghana. The paper determines the extent of the use of information technology in a front office operation of chain hotels in Ghana. The paper continues to assess the effect of the use of information technology in the front office operation of chain hotels in Ghana, thus if the use of ICT has any effect on chain hotels’ front office operations. The paper further makes recommendations to chain hotel operators and the Ghana Tourist Authority (GTA) and policy makers on the use of information and communications technology in front office operation in chain hotels. Three chain hotels in Ghana were assessed.

Actuality of the conducted research is practically oriented character. Without the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in the field of higher education, it is impossible to carry out qualitative training of specialists in engineering, the results of which are necessary for the implementation of a national strategy for modernizing the economy and forming a progressive state of European type. Formulation of the task - the specificity of the use of ICT in the system of higher education has not been studied sufficiently. ICT form a complex environment, which includes a lot of information objects and the links between them. It can be argued that the structural and functional analysis of the use of ICT in higher education is the basis of the theoretical justification in the formation of technical professionalism of future engineers. ICTs form a complex system, which includes not only technical and software-hardware capabilities, but also psycho-pedagogical, organizational, methodological. Without taking into account all of these components, as well as the needs of the subjects of the educational process, the use of ICT tools (especially centralized) may be accompanied by risks and negatively affect the quality of high education. The use of information technologies in the educational process is the foundation of innovative development of the educational system. The rapid development of ICT provides not only significant pace of innovative progress, but also requires the definition (limitation) of information resources that guarantee the quality of learning, the choice of techniques that are in line with the general strategy for the formation of professional competences. Therefore, the problem of choosing an approach to the process of learning with the use of ICTs remains one of the main tasks of education. Research methods. In theory and practice, the study of the application of information and communication technologies (ICT) in high school uses empirical methods of collecting and analyzing information based on the results of the survey of 120 students. Presenting main material. The essence of professionalism of future specialists of the technical direction is revealed. The scientific point of view on the professionalism of the engineer is presented. The peculiarities of formation of the basis of technical professionalism of future engineers in the process of studying at a higher school are theoretically grounded. The quantitative and qualitative analysis of the results of empirical researches of this problem is presented. The practical significance of the research topic is that the innovative approaches to the training of specialists in engineering specialties are differentiated, which differentiate in the educational concepts of teaching in higher educational institutions of European countries

The study is devoted to a retrospective analysis of the development of competencies related to the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process. The aim of the paper is to trace changes in the requirements for competencies related to the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process, driven by changes in objective and subjective circumstances. An analysis of the content of competencies related to the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process is carried out. The concepts of “information competence,” “ICT competence,” and “information and digital competence” are analyzed. Information competence is the ability to navigate the information space, obtain information, and operate with it in accordance with one’s own needs and requirements. ICT competence is an integrative personal quality that combines a conscious need to acquire new knowledge and experience in the field of information and communication technologies. Information and digital competence is manifested in the ability to use digital technologies to improve the educational process. It is also manifested in professional interaction with colleagues, students, parents, and other stakeholders, as well as in personal professional development. Information and digital competence is formed on the basis of four equally significant components: knowledge, skills and abilities, communication, and responsibility and autonomy. These components are interrelated and therefore require a comprehensive analysis to understand the level of formation of such competence. A retrospective analysis of the formation of competencies related to the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process allows the following conclusions to be drawn. The structure of competencies related to the use of information and digital technologies is constantly changing under the influence of various objective and subjective factors. The content of competencies related to the use of information and digital technologies changes radically over time. The formation of competencies related to the use of information and digital technologies influences the development of other qualities necessary for a person both in professional activity and in everyday life. The conducted analysis does not exhaust all aspects of the researched issue. Further development is required for the study of the use of artificial intelligence elements within the structure of information and digital competencies.

The article analyses the peculiarities of information and communication technologies of agricultural enterprises in China. The relevance of the work is due to the increasing digitalisation of agriculture at the global level, as well as the digitalisation of the Chinese economy. In addition, the role of modern technologies is becoming the key to the development of agriculture in general. The study is based on the works of Ukrainian and Chinese scholars on the selected topic. The purpose of the study is to analyse the current features of the use of information and communication technologies in the agricultural sector on the example of Chinese agricultural enterprises. The article analyses the main features of the use of information and communication technologies in agriculture. The peculiarities of digital and electronic agriculture are identified. The features of the introduction of information and communication technologies in agriculture in China are determined. The historical patterns of the use of modern technologies in agriculture of the country are determined. The main directions and manifestations of the use of information and communication technologies by agricultural enterprises in China are considered. Special attention is paid to the importance of social networks for Chinese agricultural enterprises. The main advantages of the use of information and communication technologies by Chinese agricultural enterprises are also identified, and the role of ICT in ensuring food security is considered. The article highlights the shortcomings and problems of using modern technologies in Chinese agriculture, among which are insufficient Internet coverage and insufficient information education of employees. The results of the study demonstrate the importance of information and communication technologies for Chinese agricultural enterprises and prove their positive impact on the development of agriculture in the country as a whole. The results obtained can be used to further improve information and communication technologies in Chinese agricultural production and to improve the digitalisation of agriculture in the country.

У статті представлено результати теоретичного й емпіричного дослідження впливу інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій (ІКТ) на мовленнєвий досвід дітей молодшого шкільного віку, виявлено напрями подальших досліджень впливу мережі Інтернет середовища на мовленнєвий досвід. Визначено проблему, що полягає у недостатньому врахуванні у педагогічному процесі нецілеспрямованого і неорганізованого використання дітьми інформаційно-комунікаційних технологій. З’ясовано основні теоретичні підходи до вивчення проблеми взаємодії дітей і Інтернет-середовища та основні напрями використання ІКТ у педагогічному процесі. Критичне осмислення наукових теоретичних та практичних розвідок дало змогу виокремити потребу вивчення питання впливу інформаційних ресурсів мережі Інтернет на змістові характеристики мовленнєвого досвіду дітей молодшого шкільного віку. У статті обґрунтовано підхід до вивчення мовлення саме як до мовленнєвого досвіду, докладно описано методику емпіричного дослідження. Дослідження здійснюється в парадигмі теорії мовленнєвого досвіду, згідно з якою останній розглядається як система у свідомості особистості, спрямована на здійснення мовленнєвого освоєння особистістю світу. Зовнішня структура мовленнєвого досвіду, котра складається з мовленнєвої компетентності, мовної картини світу та мовленнєвої культури, виконує функцію опосередкування мовленнєвої взаємодії дитини із світом. У статті визначено провідні функції кожного елементу мовленнєвого досвіду, змістові характеристики та маркери, а також діагностичний інструментарій, за допомогою якого виявляються ці маркери. У результаті здійсненого емпіричного дослідження було виокремлено специфічні змістові характеристики мовленнєвого досвіду дітей молодшого шкільного віку, зумовлені використанням ІКТ: збільшення асортименту та диференціації емоцій одночасно зі зменшенням здатності до їх вербалізації; переважання динамічних фреймових когнітивних структур над статичними; розширення семантичних полів; збільшення ініціативності в комунікації; зменшення ролі правильності мовлення, дотримання граматичних і синтаксичних норм мови; збільшення семантичної гнучкості. Провідним висновком здійсненого дослідження є те, що використання ІКТ здійснює вплив не лише на кількісні показники мовленнєвого досвіду дітей молодшого шкільного віку (рівень мовленнєвого розвитку), а змінює його змістові характеристики.

The world has changed a lot in the past years. The rapid advances in technology and the changing of the communication channels have changed the way people work and, for many, where do they work from. The Internet and mobile technology, the two most dynamic technological forces in modern information and communications technology (ICT) are converging into one ubiquitous mobile Internet service, which will change our way of both doing business and dealing with our daily routine activities. As the use of ICT expands globally, there is need for further research into cultural aspects and implications of ICT. The acceptance of Information Technology (IT) has become a fundamental part of the research plan for most organizations (Igbaria 1993). In IT research, numerous theories are used to understand users’ adoption of new technologies. Various models were developed including the Technology Acceptance Model, Theory of Reasoned Action, Theory of Planned Behavior, and recently, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology. Each of these models has sought to identify the factors which influence a citizen’s intention or actual use of information technology. Drawing on the UTAUT model and Flow Theory, this research composes a new hybrid theoretical framework to identify the factors affecting the acceptance and use of Mobile Internet -as an ICT application- in a consumer context. The proposed model incorporates eight constructs: Performance Expectancy, Effort Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Social Influences, Perceived Value, Perceived Playfulness, Attention Focus, and Behavioral intention. Data collected online from 238 respondents in Saudi Arabia were tested against the research model, using the structural equation modeling approach. The proposed model was mostly supported by the empirical data. The findings of this study provide several crucial implications for ICT and, in particular, mobile Internet service practitioners and researchers

The article is dedicated to the development and application of information technologies to support the educational process of individuals with special educational needs. A conceptual model is proposed that combines modern information and communication technologies, artificial intelligence methods and mathematical models for personalizing learning and taking into account the individual characteristics of participants in the educational process. Specific requirements for an inclusive environment are considered, in particular, taking into account the cognitive, sensory and communication characteristics of students. Existing approaches to the use of information and communication technologies are analyzed, in particular, artificial intelligence systems, mathematical modeling and adaptive learning platforms. An analysis of domestic and foreign research in the field of inclusive learning and the implementation of digital solutions is conducted, and the advantages of integrating intelligent systems into learning platforms are also identified. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that for the first time a model for supporting inclusive learning has been developed, which is based on a mathematical description of this process and, unlike known solutions, involves the integrated use of information technologies at each stage of learning, which made it possible to determine the structural and functional requirements for the platform architecture and ensure effective information support for an inclusive educational environment. Practical examples of the use of UML diagrams and Petri nets to formalize processes and reflect the interaction between key learning participants are given. The results of the work may be useful for developers of educational systems and inclusion specialists. The use of the described solutions makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of learning, promote social adaptation and develop the potential of individuals with special educational needs in the modern information space.

This article examines the variation in the level of use of information and communication technologies by national bodies of labour administrations across 81 different countries. Extending empirical research on the state of information and communication technology use, it introduces a prototype index of country-level information and communication technology use. The index allows for the exposition of the contributions of sub-dimensions of information and communication technology use, including labour inspection, public employment services and labour dispute prevention and settlement. Graphical evidence showing sub-index and final index formulations for individual countries is given, along with graphical evidence of the country-level ranking and geographical variations of information and communication technology use (including the sub-dimensions of this use). The future potential of the prescribed approach is demonstrated by offering possible explanations behind the results on a sample of countries.

In this work the methodical features of the use of information and communication technologies during the course of higher mathematics students of technical specialties students who are studying at the shorter term of training are researched. The use of blended learning technology is proposed, which is to combine traditional face-to-face learning with computer-mediated activity. In the work, the following features of the methodology of the use of information and communication technologies, related to the specifics of learning in a shorter term are determined.Part of the course is common to educational institutions of different levels. It is suggested to use the basic electronic notes for a concise repetition of the corresponding basic sections of higher mathematics. The contents of the notes are clearly consistent with the work programs of the two educational institutions. Electronic methodological materials should include examples of solving typical tasks. In the part of the examples, the explanation is opened step by step after the additional user command. The student is able to independently conduct each stage of the decision, checking with an electronic manual.The new training materials are grouped into short themed blocks and contain an automatic links to reference materials. In each section some of tasks have a professional orientation. Students with shorter term training have additional professional knowledge. It simplifies the processing of tasks whose content is associated with other disciplines.In knowledge control, a combination of test tasks with a computer rewrite of responses with open-ended tasks is required. The teacher checks the open-type task and carry out a short examine. The current student results for each of them are determined on a 100-point scale. This allows you to visually reflect the dynamics of the results of each particular student.The paper also identifies certain disadvantages associated with the use of information technology in the learning process. These include, in particular, the considerable expenses of the teacher at the stage of development and testing of teaching materials and the need for a high level of self-control of students in the use of ICT.

The purpose of this article is to analyze the introduction and use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the special disciplines of higher education, to teach teachers how to improve the effectiveness of teaching and learning through information and communication technologies (ICT). This article discusses the issues of improving the knowledge and skills of students through the use of modern information and communication technologies in the preparation of designers, increasing students' interest in the educational process and the ability to apply their knowledge in practice in the future. The focus is on the need to develop appropriate strategies for a new educational role and, in addition, to enhance the role of learners in integrating information and communication technologies (ICT) into the educational process. The role and perspective of the teachers was very important, highlighting them as key players in the process. The data show that there is a belief that the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process will help increase the effectiveness of education and facilitate the organization of the educational process. In particular, it shows that the contribution of information and communication technologies (ICT) to the improvement of the educational process in educational institutions, where information and communication technologies (ICT) is an innovative factor, is high. Achieving this high level means that the educational institution must not only modernize technological means, but also change the models of teaching.

The article highlights various aspects of the use of information and communication technologies in the training of future higher education specialists. Information technologies, as one of the components of a holistic system of education, not only open up opportunities for the variability of educational activity, its individualization and differentiation, but also allow to organize the interaction of all subjects of education in a new way. One of the main tasks of modern general education is the formation of information competence: mastery of information technologies, understanding of their application, weaknesses and strengths, the ability to critically evaluate information distributed by various means and advertising. Thus, the inclusion of new technologies in the educational process has become a socially determined necessity. The transition to the information society requires the education system to solve a fundamentally new problem of training people who are adapted to the rapidly changing realities of the surrounding reality, capable not only of perceiving, storing and reproducing information, but also of producing new information, managing information flows and processing them effectively. The integrity of activities related to the use of information and communication technologies presupposes the inseparable unity of education and training. Since the basis of professional training is methodological knowledge, as well as practical skills of a normative and creative nature, which are the property of the future specialist and determine his individuality, the structure of professional training for the use of information and communication technologies can be represented by three components: cognitive, personal and activity components.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the codes of ethics and university deontology in order to identify the rules for the use of information technology. In the introductory part of the study, there is highlighted the importance of observing these rules by the university teachers. From a theoretical point of view, there are provided the characteristic elements of the code of ethics and university deontology and there are specified concrete examples of rules of the use of information technology included in the codes of ethics in the university field at international level. At the basis of the code of ethics there is a set of principles and norms that the members of the academic community agree to respect them. The research methodology is qualitative, focused on the use of content analysis. The codes of ethics of 38 universities from Romanian education were analysed to identify the rules for using information technology. Content analysis of the themes related to the rules of the use of information technology is performed based on the indicators derived from the theoretical part. The results of the analysis led to the fact that there are few explicit rules regarding the use of information and communication technologies included in codes of university ethics. It is recommended to introduce specific rules in order to raise awareness of the importance of respecting these rules by university teachers and students. Therefore, the university codes of ethics will be reconsidered from the perspective of the development of information technology.

In common with many countries, teacher education in Turkey has been facing a period of rapidly changing demands with respect to the use of information and communication technology. This chapter presents a case study of an initial teacher education department in Turkey. The study focuses on prospective English language teachers' views concerning various types of information and communication technology deployed by their teacher educators, their views of the information and communication technology-related course, their subsequent engagement of the information and communication technology, its emerging challenges, and their expectations to utilize information and communication technology in their future teaching. Data were collected using a questionnaire, interviews, and portraits of three teacher candidates. The results of the study reveal that the majority of the teacher candidates have positive perceptions towards integration of technology in their courses; however, they are aware of the lack of the pedagogical use of information and communication technology within their courses, and see the need for more use of such tools in their preservice teacher education programs.

The article reveals the main means, forms and possibilities of using information and communication technologies in preventive social work with various categories of the population. It is noted that the need for the use of information and communication technologies by social workers in the prevention of negative social phenomena is due to the informatization of society, the strategic importance of ensuring free access of various categories of the population to information, the need for personal information culture, healthy lifestyle. It is noted that the most common mass, informational, methodological and research measures for the prevention of negative social phenomena in the activities of social workers today cannot do without the use of information and communication technologies. Information and communication technologies of professional activity of a social worker are defined as a technology of designing and creating an information product for social and socio-educational purposes. The advantages and disadvantages of using information and communication technologies in preventive social work are considered. The essence of the social services of prevention, information support of the system of providing social services, social advertising in the context of the use of information and communication technologies in the professional activity of a social worker has been determined.
