A Bibliometric Analysis of Graph Labeling Study Using VOSviewer

One important problem in graph theory is graph coloring or graph labeling.Labeling problem is a well-studied problem due to its wide applications, especially in frequency assignment in(mobile) communication systems, coding theory, x-ray crystallography, radar, circuit design, etc.For two non-negative integers, labeling of a graph is a function from the node set to the set of non-negative integers.For any two distinct vertices and of , a radio labeling is an injective function : 0 such that , | | 1 where is the diameter of .The radio number of , is the maximum value of taken overall radio labelings of .This paper determines the radio number of double triangular snake graphs.

The aim of this study is to identify research directions focused on epidural hematoma (EDHs) from past to present using bibliometric approaches, uncover current research trends through keyword analyses, delineate global productivity, and identify impactful studies through citation analyses. The study obtained 1785 articles related to EDH published between January 1, 1980, and December 31, 2023, from the Web of Science database, and comprehensive analyses were conducted using various bibliometric and statistical approaches. These analyses include citation and co-citation analyses, trend keyword analysis, multiple correspondence analysis, thematic evolution analysis, and various other bibliometric analyses. The bibliometric analyses were performed using Biblioshiny and VOSviewer. The top 3 journals contributing the most to the literature were Acta Neurochirurgica (n = 56, 3.1%), British Journal of Neurosurgery (48, 2.6%), and Neurosurgery (47, 2.6%). According to the h-index, the most influential top 3 journals were Neurosurgery (h = 27), Acta Neurochirurgica (h = 23), and Surgical Neurology (h = 21). Based on the m-index, the most influential top 3 journals were World Neurosurgery (m = 0.9), Medicine (m = 0.63), and Neurosurgery (m = 0.6). The most active country was the United States of America (n = 593), the most active author was Mahapatra AK (n = 10), and the most active institution was Harvard University (n = 25). Research interest in EDH has evolved over time, with notable increases in publication trends in 1968, 1982, and 1988, peaking in 1996 and 2004. Bibliometric analyses indicate that key topics such as spinal EDH, head injuries, magnetic resonance imaging, spontaneous spinal EDH, computed tomography, spine, complications, epidural, anticoagulants, pediatric cases, and trauma have stood out in EDH research. Trend analysis findings have shown an increasing focus on specific areas such as clinical management approaches, treatment methods, postoperative complications, risk factors, pediatric cases, as well as specific conditions like paralysis and cauda equina syndrome. Multiple correspondence analysis identified 6 core research dimensions, focusing on acute trauma management, surgical interventions, complications management, risk assessment, surgical outcomes, and incidence analysis.

Bibliometrics, via the exploitation of large-scale publication data, is a facile approach to explore gender-related trends, especially gender equality in academic publishing and authorship. For the first time, this study aims to investigate the gender-related trends in anti-doping sciences to (1) explore the relational structure of gender aspects of authorial, topical, and methodological features, (2) give recognition to women's contribution to anti-doping research, and (3) identify unique “gendered” potentials for advancing anti-doping research. To deliver on these aims, we employed bibliometric tools to publication records in anti-doping. After constructing a database containing academic publications on any aspect of anti-doping with at least one woman among the authors, we applied state-of-the-art methods from bibliometric science mapping and network analysis. The Lotka distribution model showed that the anti-doping research is a closed community with only 70 authors appearing more than once. Male authors being the majority (66.2%), women are under-represented in this field. The most important authorship position in the academic articles is mainly occupied by men, publications with male corresponding authors were in 774 out of 991 anti-doping related papers. The close connection of the top twenty most influential authors, men and women, to the World Anti-Doping Agency in some professional capacity suggest that the Agency have an influence on the anti-doping research beyond directly providing funding. In terms of geographical regions, publications with female authors were dominated anti-doping research in Italy, Romania, and Spain. In research networks to date, women have outperformed male authors in information centrality, which means that women in anti-doping research have had higher level of control over the information flow in the field than their male counterparts. The results of this study confirm the potential of bibliometric approach in the identification of emerging research topics and quantifying gender differentiation in the field of anti-doping. Due to their higher information centrality, women are better positioned for problem-focused multidisciplinary research both within anti-doping community, and with researchers in cognate fields. Bibliometric analyses have proved to be a powerful tool for monitoring and advancing anti-doping research impact via identifying new avenues for multidisciplinary work, better gender representation, and diversity.

In graph theory many useful mathematical disciplines, but the extremely useful one is graph labeling. A graph labeling is used in many applications in various fields like X-ray crystallography, computer science, data base management, coding theory, astronomy and physics. A labeling of edges and vertices of a simple graph G(V, E) by a mapping ¥ : V(G) ∪ E(G) → {1, 2, 3, … , ℜ} provided that any two different edges have distinct weights is called an edge irregular total ℜ -labeling. If ℜ is minimum and G admits an edge irregular total ℜ-labeling, then it is called the total edge irregularity strength (TEIS) denoted by tes(G). In this paper, we have introduced three definitions: the quintet snake graph QS n , the double quintet snake graph D(QS n) and the m–multiple quintet snake graph M(QS n). Moreover, the exact value of TEIS for the new graphs are investigated.

A graph G is an ordered pair of sets G(V, E), where V is a set of vertices and the elements of set E are usually called edges. The concept of graph labeling has recently gained a lot of popularity in the area of graph theory. his popularity is due not only to the mathematical challenges of graph labelings but also to the wide range of applications that graph labeling offer to other brances of science, for instance, x-ray, cryptography, coding theory, circuit design and communication network design. Thus, we initiate to developed the concept of local antimagic vertex coloring for subdevided graphs. A graph G called sub-devided if the graph G be the graph obtained by inserting a vertex to each edge of the graph G. The local antimagic vertex labeling induces a proper vertex coloring of graph G if each vertex a is assigned the color w(a). The minimum colors needed to coloring the vertices in graph G called local antimagic vertex chromatic number, denoted by χla (G). A well-known method for quantitatively evaluating scholarly work is bibliometric analysis. Best-cited papers raise awareness of the influential publications and patterns in the literature on a specific subject. The aim was to conduct bibliometric analysis to determine most cited articles on vesiculobullous oral lesions. This is the first study on citation analysis with respect to vesiculobullous oral lesions. A retrospective data search was explored on December 2022 using the Scopus database. The articles were evaluated, and fundamental data for bibliometric analysis was reviewed. Standard details about the author, linked organizations, publishing year, and place of origin were noted. Statistical analysis was performed using Chi-square analysis. VOSviewer software was used to determine the bibliometric network analysis for co-occurrence among coauthors and commonly used keywords. A total of 344 articles published from 1971 to 2022 were included in the study. A total of 6680 citations and 19.41 citations per article were observed. The journal Archives of Dermatology received the most citation. There was a significant association between the number of citations and the journal type (open access vs. non-open access) (P < 0.05). Four to five highly related clusters with the help of VOSviewer software were found during co-occurrence network analysis. The top 10 articles on vesiculobullous oral lesions that received the most citations were listed in detail in the present study. This will be a valuable resource for academics, clinicians, and researchers in the fields of dermatology, general pathology, oral pathology, and oral medicine.

In graph theory, labeling of vertices and edges according to specific rules offers insight into the structural properties of graphs and their potential applications. This study focuses on a particular type of graph labeling known as Super Lehmer-3 Mean Labeling. A graph is said to admit such a labeling if there exists an injective vertex labeling such that the corresponding edge labels, derived from the Lehmer-3 mean of their incident vertex labels, are also distinct and satisfy certain arithmetic conditions. Graphs that admit such a labeling are termed Super Lehmer-3 Mean Graphs.In this work, we investigate the existence of super Lehmer-3 mean labeling in various families of theta-related graphs. Specifically, we analyze standard theta graphs and their structural variations obtained by subdivisions and attachments of pendant vertices. The results confirm that these modified forms of theta graphs also admit super Lehmer-3 mean labeling. Additionally, we extend our exploration to harmonic mean labeling in selected theta graphs, highlighting the conditions under which this alternative labeling scheme is valid.The findings presented in this paper contribute to the growing body of knowledge in graph labeling theory, offering new characterizations and constructions of labeled graph families. These results may have implications for theoretical studies and applications where such labeling structures are relevant.

Despite a growing body of research, the scholarly understanding of spiritual leadership remains fragmented and lacks coherence. Subjective review methods often impede a comprehensive grasp of objective insights and hinder the establishment of a clear research path. To bridge this gap, our study pioneers a combined bibliometric and thematic analysis approach, examining 100 high-quality papers from 2010 to 2021. By unraveling the web of citations, shared references, and recurring keywords, we illuminate influential voices, landmark publications, and key contributors, creating a comprehensive con ceptual framework. Our analysis identifies 2 to 3 core thematic clusters, providing a roadmap for future research and enhancing the practical application of spiritual leadership in organizations. This study contributes to theoretical and managerial domains, offering nuanced insights and empowering further exploration in this impactful field, emphasizing the role of spiritual leadership in fostering a profound connection to organizational values.

Conducting polymers (CPs)‐based sensing materials have emerged as a prominent option for the sensitive detection of gaseous ammonia (NH3) due to their cost‐effectiveness, ease of production, and increased sensing performance. Although more than 1400 articles published in the past decades, no bibliometric analysis which can highlight the publication trend and research clusters within the scope of conducting polymer‐based sensors for ammonia detection (CPAD) is available in the literature. The aim of this bibliometric analysis is to document the research trends of CPAD during the last 27 years, since the inception of the first report on conducting polymer as potential NH3 gas sensor which has been published in 1994. The bibliometric analysis was carried out using VOSviewer and Publish or Perish software to analyze keywords trend, the impact of the scientific community, publishing trends among the authors, institutions, and countries. The review discovered that over 80% of the relevant papers produced after 1994, based on bibliographical examination of 1476 Scopus‐indexed articles. Citation analysis was used to identify key authors and articles that shaped the evolution of this literature. Overall, this bibliometric approach allows us to analyze the evolution of a CPAD field while also offering insights on the field's growing areas.

This study explores the intersection of Arabic language and social media research in the Malaysian context through a bibliometric analysis, aiming to understand the development, distribution, and thematic focus of scholarly publications in this domain. Despite the growing significance of Arabic language education and digital communication platforms in Malaysia, there has been limited comprehensive analysis of the research trends that shape this evolving field. To address this gap, a bibliometric approach was employed, using four targeted keywords “Arabic language,” “social media,” “Malaysia,” and “bibliometric analysis” to retrieve data from the SCOPUS database. The initial dataset, spanning publications up to December 2023, yielded a total of 852 records. Data cleaning and standardization were conducted using OpenRefine to ensure consistency and accuracy, followed by in-depth mapping and network visualization using VOSviewer (version 1.6.15). SCOPUS Analyzer was also utilized to examine publication trends, prolific authors, source journals, country contributions, and citation impact. The analysis revealed a significant increase in publications post 2015, with a concentration of articles in educational and linguistic journals. Keyword co-occurrence mapping indicated strong thematic links between Arabic language learning, digital pedagogy, online discourse, and non-native speakers. Citation analysis identified the most influential articles, while country level collaboration data highlighted Malaysia’s emerging role in Arabic linguistic research in the digital sphere. This study contributes to a clearer understanding of the knowledge structure and intellectual evolution in this niche area, offering valuable insights for educators, policymakers, and future researchers. It demonstrates the importance of bibliometric tools in tracing research trajectories and identifying strategic directions for future inquiry in Arabic language and social media integration within Malaysia.

Heritage gardens represent the cultural heritage pride of many nations, and their sustainable preservation has garnered widespread academic attention globally. Despite numerous qualitative reviews, a comprehensive quantitative analysis of heritage garden preservation literature from 2004 to 2024 is lacking. This study examines the dynamic evolution of heritage garden conservation (2004–2024) through bibliometric analysis, focusing on Research Activity and Impact, Cooperation Networks, and Knowledge Structure and Thematic Evolution. To achieve this goal, this study conducted a bibliometric analysis using the Web of Science Core Collection database. Initially, 1,540 documents were retrieved. After excluding irrelevant categories and conducting a manual review of titles, abstracts, and keywords to ensure relevance, 774 articles were selected for analysis. The analysis utilized bibliometric software tools such as VOS viewer, CiteSpace, and Biblioshiny. The results initially reveal that the period from 2010 to 2021 marked a significant increase in publication volume within the field of heritage gardens, although only 2.4% of the papers were reviews. Landscape Urban Planning and Geoheritage emerged as the most influential journals, based on their high local citation counts within the field. Additionally, collaboration networks indicated that scholars from the United States and China published the most papers, with Canadian scholars’ works having significant impact. Influenced by the evolving concepts of technology, politics, and cultural heritage, the analysis of knowledge structure and theme evolution identified ecosystem services, user perceptions, and cultural landscape impacts as recent hot topics. Future research on the sustainable preservation of heritage gardens should focus more on balancing urban development, incorporating sustainable management, and digital restoration through quantitative methods. In summary, this study offers insights into the global evolution of heritage garden preservation from 2004 to 2024, providing a valuable resource for future research and policy-making.

Purpose This study aims to provide a systematic literature review (SLR) of human–robot interaction (HRI) using the Scopus databases. For this purpose, this research synthesizes the prevailing literature on robotics from 2005–2025 and identifies the present status, gaps and future directions in the respective domain. Design/methodology/approach This study used a combined SLR and bibliometric analysis approach. A carefully formulated search string was used to extract data from the Scopus database. The final data set included 298 documents for bibliometric analysis, of which 60 articles were selected for SLR. Findings The study’s findings indicate that research on HRI has significantly increased over the last decade due to technological advancements. This literature review reveals that most studies were conducted within the information and technology industry. The authors also identify six clusters that reflect distinct themes and sub-themes in the respective domain. Practical implications The findings offer valuable guidance to artificial intelligence developers, policymakers and other stakeholders, highlighting the essential role and growing necessity of HRI across multiple domains. This study is also a valuable resource for future researchers in robotics by advancing theoretical and practical knowledge. Originality/value To the authors’ best knowledge, there is a dearth of literature synthesizing studies on HRI. To bridge the existing knowledge gap, a comprehensive review of HRI is presented to understand the respective domain. This research expands and magnifies the intellectual boundaries of social robots and proposes a multidisciplinary approach for future studies.

The present study aimed to map publication trends and explore research hotspots of treatment for NAFLD study by bibliometric analysis. Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a multi-system metabolic disorder involving the liver. Thousands of papers have been published on the treatment of NAFLD, but no comprehensive statistical and intuitive analysis has been made. The present study aimed to map publication trends and explore research hotspots of treatment for NAFLD study by bibliometric analysis. (1) The pathogenesis of NAFLD and the possible treatment mechanism; (2) prevalence, risk factors, and traditional therapies for NAFLD; (3) frontier therapies for NAFLD. Method; This paper conducted a bibliometric analysis based on the Web of Science Core Collection (WoSCC). The knowledge map was constructed by VOS viewer v.1.6.10 to visualize the annual publication number, the distribution of countries, international collaborations, author productivity, source journals, cited references, and keywords in this field. From 2012 to 2021, 2,437 peer-reviewed publications on the treatment of NAFLD were retrieved. China contributed the most publications, while the United States received the most citations. Journal of Hepatology was the most prolific journal in this field. Prof. Rohit Loomba. Our study provides a comprehensive and objective analysis of NAFLD treatment that allows researchers to quickly locate research hotspots in a large number of relevant literatures. Meanwhile, it may also provide valuable information for researchers looking for potential partners and institutions.

Instructional leadership plays a critical role in enhancing teaching and learning processes, particularly within secondary vocational and special education contexts characterised by diverse learner needs and complex instructional demands. Despite increasing scholarly attention, the intellectual structure and research development in this field remain insufficiently synthesised. This study maps the research landscape on principals’ instructional leadership using a bibliometric approach. Data were retrieved from the Scopus database, yielding 1,108 English-language journal articles within the Social Sciences domain. Bibliometric analyses were conducted using descriptive indicators and network visualisation through VOSviewer to examine publication trends, country contributions, collaboration patterns, and keyword co-occurrence structures. The findings indicate a significant growth in research output, reflecting rising academic interest in instructional leadership across specialised secondary education contexts. However, the research landscape remains geographically concentrated, with limited international collaboration. The thematic analysis reveals an interdisciplinary field integrating pedagogical, technological, and psychosocial perspectives. This study contributes by providing one of the earliest structured mappings of instructional leadership research within the intersecting domains of secondary vocational and special education, offering directions for theory development, cross-national collaboration, and evidence-informed leadership practice.
