Simple omega-categories and chain complexes
The category of strict omega-categories has an important full subcategory whose objects are the simple omega-categories freely generated by planar trees or by globular cardinals. We give a simple description of this subcategory in terms of chain complexes, and we give a similar description of the opposite category, the category of finite discs, in terms of cochain complexes. Berger has shown that the category of simple omega-categories has a filtration by iterated wreath products of the simplex category. We generalise his result by considering wreath products of categories of chain complexes over the simplex category.

Discrete Koszul algebra, another extension of Koszul algebras, is introduced in this paper. The Yoneda algebra of a discrete Koszul algebra is investigated in detail. As an application, we give an answer to a question proposed by Green and Marcos (Commun Algebra 33:1753–1764, 2005). In particular, the relationship between discrete Koszul algebras and Koszul algebras is established. Further, we construct new discrete Koszul algebras from the given ones in terms of one-point extension.

LOCAL DUALITY FOR THE SINGULARITY CATEGORY OF A FINITE DIMENSIONAL GORENSTEIN ALGEBRA
A duality theorem for the singularity category of a finite dimensional Gorenstein algebra is proved. It complements a duality on the category of perfect complexes, discovered by Happel. One of its consequences is an analogue of Serre duality, and the existence of Auslander–Reiten triangles for the$\mathfrak{p}$-local and$\mathfrak{p}$-torsion subcategories of the derived category, for each homogeneous prime ideal$\mathfrak{p}$arising from the action of a commutative ring via Hochschild cohomology.
