Abstract

In this paper, a map-matching method to integrate and manage trajectory data derived from human travel behavior in an urban environment is introduced. The approach is preliminary based on a conceptual spatio-temporal data model that encapsulates the main semantics of urban trajectories. We introduce several algorithms that provide a computational solution to first a trajectory data integration and association to the urban network, and secondly a sound support to a route generation and semantics enrichment. The whole approach has been experimented applying the Geolife dataset as a testbed in the city of Beijing.
