The deregulation of the global telecommunication industry has seen a change in the business and operational environment in which services are deployed and managed. The requirements have intensified to provide a management framework for telecommunication networks and services across multiple technology domains and using multiple management technologies. This paper describes an integrated TMN service management architecture that provides an environment for different service management functions and different management domains to be integrated. To further substantiate this architecture, a system was built to demonstrate the integration concepts. The research and development work reported in this paper focuses on the following two aspects of integration: first the integration between TMN network and service management functions; and next the integration between different service management functions. A proof of concept system was developed to demonstrate such integration. It consists of the following components: Generic service ordering and provisioning; connection management based on a generic network model concept; and service management based upon service level agreement management and customer service management concepts. This paper reports this work and the experiences gained from this research.

Specifics of RFID Based Access Control Systems Used in Logistics Centers

While discussing the importance of office reception work, this article emphasizes the key role of fine management in improving work efficiency and service quality. Against the background of the artificial intelligence era, the article successfully constructs a framework for an office reception work management system by utilizing cutting-edge React and Express technologies. The system not only carries out meticulous module design based on functional requirements, but also proposes a personalized recommendation algorithm integrating clustering and collaborative filtering by optimizing the Similarity of user characteristics and item attributes for joint filtering recommendation to achieve more humanized reception services. To verify the system's effectiveness, this study conducted an application analysis using University Q as a case study. The analysis results show that from 2008 to 2022, the indices of reception preparation, knowledge of reception work, staffing, business skills of reception staff, work attitude and work detail control have been significantly improved, with an increase ranging from 32.0761 to 37.1677, indicating that the management level of office reception work is constantly optimized and shows a rapid growth. This innovative office reception work management system not only realizes refined management, but also comprehensively improves the service efficiency and comprehensive management level, which provides a valuable reference for the management of similar work.

The problem of reasonable arrangement for the sickbeds is an important factor in the improvement of service level of Dept. of Ophthalmology. In the article, firstly, by the analysis of the working mechanism in Dept. of Ophthalmology, we set up a sickbed arrangement evaluation system which consists of 4 indexes. They are the length of queue, the number of inpatients who are discharged from hospital per unit time, FCFS (First coming, First serving) and giving priority to the patient who suffers from surgical trauma. Secondly, we establish a model in reasonable arrangement of sickbeds in Dept. of Ophthalmology, called Multi-muzzle Type Ammunition Case, and got the total number of inpatients who are discharged from hospital in a week and the average waiting time of inpatients. Furthermore, we got the time, which inpatients are hospitalized. That improved working efficiency, resource's effective utilization ratio and the humanized service level.

Access control system is an important component to protect patients’ information from abuse in a health care system. It is a major concern in the management, design, and development of healthcare systems. Designing access control policies for healthcare systems is complicated due to the dynamic and inherent complexity of the tasks performed by the healthcare personnel. Permissions in access control systems are usually granted on the basis of static policies. However, static policies are not enough to cope with various situations such as emergencies. Most often, the Break-the-glass mechanism is used to bypass static policies to handle emergency situations. Since healthcare systems are critical systems, where errors can be very costly in terms of lives, quality of life, and/or dollars, it is crucial to identify discrepancies between policy specifications and their intended function to implement correctly a flexible access control system. Formal verifications are necessary for exhaustive verification and validation of policy specifications to ensure that the policy specifications truly encapsulate the desires of the policy authors. We present a verifiable framework to enact a dynamic access control model by integrating the ANSI/INCTIS RBAC Reference Model in a workflow and an approach for property verifications of the access control model. Access control policies are expressed by the formal semantics of a model checker and properties are verified by the DiVinE model checker.

Service-oriented programming model is a new methodology for building service-oriented applications. In the service-oriented programming model, an application is assembled from loosely coupled, dynamically bounded services that mutually cooperate and compete in order to achieve the application 's goal. In this paper, we present our experiences with the service-oriented programming model attained through development and testing of access control system. The access control system is a service-oriented application that manages security in the virtual organizations. We indicate how service-oriented programming model facilitates run-time reconfiguration of the access control system. Further, we evaluate and compare the performance of several architectures of the access control system with different levels of parallelism and concurrency

This paper first brief reviews the state of the security technology research and access control in the web service environment. Despite recent advances in access control approaches for Web Services, the heterogeneity of subjects and objects in Web Service environment has made it difficult to development of effective access control system. So we present a context-aware service-orient role-based access control model (CSRBAC). In CSRBAC model, access control system can make its access control decisions by capturing security relevant environmental context, such as time, location, operation state, or other environmental information. Based on CSRBAC model, a secure architecture model for Web Services is presented. It implements an access control system with dynamically grant and adapt permissions to users based on their current context. This study aims to analyze the impact of teamwork on the effectiveness of employee performance at the Langsa City Regional Financial Management Agency (BPKD). This research uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study show that effective teamwork has a significant influence on improving work efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Factors such as open communication, clear division of roles, and supportive leadership play an important role in building a solid team. Although some challenges such as conflicts and differences in perception between team members arise, these challenges can be managed well through mediation and participatory leadership. Technology has also been shown to help facilitate team communication and collaboration. Overall, the study concludes that good teamwork contributes to more effective employee performance and betterquality public services. These results support team management theories that state that structured collaboration supported by appropriate leadership can increase organizational productivity.

본 논문은 30 MHz 이하에서 동작하는 유도성 시스템과 전파통신 서비스의 공존을 위해서, 유도성 시스템의 간섭으로부터 전파통신 서비스를 보호하기 위한 보호 거리에 관한 것이다. 보호 거리 산출을 위해 유도성 시스템과 전파통신 서비스 간의 간섭 시나리오 모델을 제시하고 이를 기반으로 유도성 시스템의 방사 전력과 희생원의 허용 가능한 전계 강도를 비교하여 적용된 전파 모델에 따른 보호 거리를 산출하는 방법을 제안하였으며 이 방법을 적용한 RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification), PDP(Plasma Display Panel) TV의 간섭 분석을 통해, 30 MHz 이하의 전파통신 서비스 보호를 위한 보호 거리를 도출하였다. 제안한 방법은 2012년 6월 SG(Study Group) 1 회의에서 ISM 기기에 대한 결의 63과 관련된 ITU-R 권고서로 채택되어 유도성 시스템뿐만 아니라 무선전력 전송 및 전력선 통신 등에 의한 간섭 영향 분석에 활용될 전망이다. This paper describes separation distance to protect radiocommunication services from the interference of inductive systems using frequencies below 30 MHz for the co-existence between radiocommunication services and inductive systems. For the analysis, the interference scenario model is proposed between inductive system and radiocommunication services. Then the calculation method of protection distance is suggested by comparing the radiation power of inductive system with the allowable interference level of victim services, radiocommunication services, according to the applied propagation model. Also, the protection distance for protecting radiocommunication services in the 30 MHz below is calculated through the interference analysis from RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) and PDP(Plasma Display Panel) TV based on the suggested method. The proposed calculation method was adopted as ITU-R recommendation in related with resolution 63 at ITU-R SG(Study Group) 1 meeting in June, 2012. It will be available to use for the protection of radiocommunication services from the interference of wireless power transfer system and power line telecommunication system.

Electronic crimes like data breaches in healthcare systems are often a fundamental failures of access control mechanisms. Most of current access control systems do not provide an accessible way to engage users in decision making processes, about who should have access to what data and when. We advocate that a policy ontology can contribute towards the development of an effective access control system by attributing responsibility for data breaches. We propose a responsibility attribution model as a theoretical construct and discuss its implication by introducing a cost model for data breach countermeasures. Then, a policy ontology is presented to realize the proposed responsibility and cost models. An experimental study on the performance of the proposed framework is conducted with respect to a more generic access control framework. The practicality of the proposed solution is demonstrated through a case study from the healthcare domain.

With the share of Android market increasing continuously, the Android mobile terminal provides convenience for the users. At the same time, it is encountering more and more secure challenges and threats, which has a serious threat to the safe use of users. Although Android has already a good security mechanism to ensure the safe use of the users, in the interest of huge commercial interests, a large number of attackers attack Android users in a variety of ways because of vulnerabilities of system and software. Even though the system module and access control system has been designed by Android, the attacker can still fight with the vulnerabilities of system or third party bugs, which has good for making illegal use some of its application beyond the permission function. It not only has a greater security threat, but also has certain concealment. The present study analyzes and innovates previous researches, put forward a new communication hole detection method based on controlling flow detection and Android permission sensitive dictionary matching, and on this basis, completed the high degree of automation, high detection efficiency design and development of test software.

The advancement of digital technology has created a growing demand for systems that support work effectiveness, particularly in project management. The Digital Learning Division at PT. Kurnia Ciptamoda Gemilang faces challenges in monitoring projects in a structured and timely manner, necessitating a web-based project management system tailored to the company’s specific needs. This study aims to design a standalone web-based project management system that is not yet integrated with existing systems but is structured to allow future integration. The system was developed using the Next.js framework, applying the Kanban method and the SDLC Waterfall development model. The research involved problem identification, literature review, and interviews with project managers to gather both functional and non-functional requirements. The results show that the developed system includes key features such as workspace management, member management, project and task management, task prioritization, deadline setting, and visualizations in the form of Kanban boards and calendars. Work efficiency is measured through the availability of a more structured workflow and a reduction in miscommunication during task assignment. The system was evaluated using the Black Box Testing method, and the results confirm that all features function according to specifications and meet the users' actual needs in the work environment. The system has proven effective in improving work efficiency, facilitating team coordination, and ensuring that projects proceed as planned.

This paper introduces a hybrid system for vehicle access control using RFID and automatic license plate recognition (ALPR) technologies. RFID technology is proven to provide an effective solution to different tracking and localization problems. However, the technology has its shortcomings in tracking objects/users without a tag. As such, we propose to complement this technology with ALPR to control the access of different types of vehicles to the area of Makkah (Saudi Arabia) during Pilgrimage seasons. This limited area can easily get congested with the huge number of vehicles attempting access. Before the start of the season, vehicles authorized to access the region are assigned passive RFID tags specifying their allowed schedule of entry. Violating vehicles that do not have RFID tags are detected and identified using ALPR. The developed system was tested over two pilgrimage seasons. The experiments showed that the developed RFID system was able to identify all passing vehicles with speeds up to 100 km/h, while the ALPR system achieved 94 % recognition accuracy of vehicles not equipped with RFID tags.

When elected officials gain power, do they use it to provide more constituent service or affect policy? The answer informs debates over how legislator capacity, term limits, and institutional positions affect legislator behavior. We distinguish two countervailing effects of increased institutional power: shifting priorities and increased capacity. To assess how institutional power shapes behavior, we assemble a massive new database of 611,239 legislator requests to a near census of federal departments, agencies, and subagencies between 2007 and 2020. We find that legislators prioritize policy work as they gain institutional power (e.g., become a committee chair) but simultaneously maintain their levels of constituency service. Moreover, when a new legislator replaces an experienced legislator, the district receives less constituency service and less policy work. Rather than long‐serving and powerful elected officials diverting attention from constituents, their increased capacity enables them to maintain levels of constituency service, even as they prioritize policy work.
