BOOSTING MATH SCORES IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS WITH THE INDEX CARD MATCH METHOD

The background of this research is that the motivation and learning outcomes of science learning outcomes are not yet optimal for the sixth-grade students of SD Muhammadiyah Karangwaru Yogyakarta. This happens due to the lack of teacher ability to use interactive learning media with the development of an increasingly advanced era in learning activities. This causes learning activities to become less active, forcing students to feel bored and bored when participating in learning activities in the classroom. Therefore, one of the efforts that can be used to increase students' motivation and learning outcomes is to use the Quizizz learning media. This study aims to 1) Determine the effect of using Quizizz learning media in science learning activities on student learning motivation and 2) Determine the influence of Quizizz learning media in science learning activities on student learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative type of research using an experimental research model. The technique of collecting data on students' learning motivation using a questionnaire/questionnaire and collecting data on student learning outcomes with the results of pretest and posttest tests. The population in this study were all students of class VI, consisting of classes VI A, VI B and VI C of SD Muhammadiyah Karangwaru, a total of 62 students, all of whom were used as samples. The data analysis technique used in this study was SPSS 26 For Windows with a t-test (Independent Sample T-test). The results of this study indicate that: 1) There is an influence on the use of Quizizz learning media in science learning activities for class VI SD on students' learning motivation. The percentage of the experimental class students' learning motivation showed higher results than the control class results. It can be seen that the average rate of students' learning motivation in the experimental class has increased from 72.66 to 78.53. 2) There is an influence on the use of Quizizz learning media in science learning activities for class VI SD on student learning outcomes (posttest). The percentage of experimental class students' learning outcomes increased from the pretest score, averaging 68.6 to 74.7 at the post-test.

This research aims to describe; 1) the influence of using pop-up book learning media on student learning motivation, 2) the influence of using pop-up book learning media on student learning outcomes, and 3) the influence of using pop-up book learning media on student motivation and learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental research using a quantitative approach. The subjects of this research were 30 students in class V of Silih Nara 4 Elementary School. This research design uses One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. The analysis technique uses a simple linear regression analysis test. The research results show that; a) there is a significant influence of the use of pop-up book learning media on student learning motivation, b) there is a significant influence of the use of pop-up book learning media on student learning outcomes, c) there is a significant influence of the use of pop-up book learning media on student motivation and learning outcomes.

The objective of this study is to propose a case study method application which can improve student learning outcomes and motivation in the arts and skills education course in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study adopted the Kemmis and McTaggart's model design, which involves planning, implementation and evaluation. The data were derived from primary data on learning outcomes and learning motivation after applying the case study learning method. The study object was to apply the case study learning method. The data collection methods include library studies, observation, tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technically used a qualitative descriptive method. The study results revealed that the case study method is used in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima through conveying objectives and motivation, dividing students in groups, distinguishing cases, students having discussions, students delivering presentations, and evaluating learning. The case study method includes components of the Semester Learning Plan, media, materials, and learning objectives. The case study method can improve learning outcomes and student motivation in the arts and skills education course in the PGSD study program at STKIP Taman Siswa Bima. This can be measured by the increase in learning outcomes in Cycle III, where the completeness score was 100% and learning motivation was 96.7%


 
 
 
 Misconception is an understanding that is not in accordance with the concept conveyed by experts. Misconceptions are still found in student learning outcomes on the Circulatory System material. The Concept Attainment Model is a teaching strategy that helps students strengthen their understanding of the concepts being studied. Learning independence is one of the factors that influence learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to increase student independence and learning outcomes as well as reduce students' misconceptions about the Circulatory System material. This research is a pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The data in this study were obtained through observation sheets, student response questionnaires, pretest-posttest, and student interviews. The results showed that prior to the implementation of the Concept Attainment learning model, students' learning independence was classified in the medium category. After the implementation of the Concept Attainment learning model, student learning independence increased, belonging to the high category. Student learning outcomes show that prior to the implementation of the Concept Attainment learning model, they had not reached the specified classical mastery. That is, student learning outcomes are low. After implementing the Concept Attainment learning model, student learning outcomes experienced a good increase in the medium and high N-Gain categories. The findings of students' misconceptions prior to the implementation of the Concept Attainment learning model were found in the concept of the mechanism of the clotting process, the link between blood type and blood transfusion, parts of the heart in cardiac anatomy, differences in the systemic and pulmonary circulatory systems, and disorders/abnormalities of the circulatory system. After implementing the Concept Attainment learning model, misconception were found in the concept of blood constituent components, the relationship between blood type and blood transfusion, and disorders/abnormalities of the circulatory system. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Concept Attainment learning model can increase student independence and learning outcomes and reduce student misconceptions.
 
 
 

The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student motivation and learning outcomes by implementing E-LKPD based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) on the respiratory system material in humans in online learning in class VIII-B of SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung T.P. 2020/2021. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR). This research was conducted in 2 cycles. The results of the student learning motivation questionnaire in the first cycle were 33.3% and the second cycle was 62.5% in the high category. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle 58.3% complete learning and 41.6% students do not complete learning. Whereas in the second cycle 87.5% completed learning and 18.5% did not complete the study. Thus it can be concluded that the application of PjBL-based E-LKPD on respiratory system materials in humans in online learning in class VIII-B SMP Negeri 3 Tarutung T.P. 2020/2021 can increase student motivation and learning outcomes

This article discusses the differences in learning motivation and learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 1 Makassar who are taught through video learning media and mobile learning. This research is a quasi-experimental research. The research design used is Non-equivalent control[1]group design. The variables in this study are the independent variables, namely video learning media and mobile learning, the dependent variable is learning motivation and student learning outcomes. Sampling in this study was done by random sampling technique. One class uses video learning media and the other class uses mobile learning. The results showed that there were significant differences in students' motivation and learning outcomes in classes taught through video learning media and mobile learning. The motivation and learning outcomes of students' biology showed that the class that used mobile learning showed an increase in motivation and better learning outcomes than the class that used video learning media. So it can be concluded that there are differences in the motivation and learning outcomes of biology students who are taught through video learning media and mobile learning in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 1 Makassar.

This study aims to determine: 1) The effect of discovery learning and conventional learning models on student learning outcomes, 2) The influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes. 3) The interaction between learning models and learning motivation on student learning outcomes. This study used a quasi-experimental research method. The research was conducted from April to May 2021.The population of this study were the fourth grade students of SDN 105316 Beranti, the number of which was 42 students who were determined randomly by random sampling technique. The research sample was 22 students of class IVA as the experimental class and 22 students of IVB class as the control class. The data collection technique used a learning motivation questionnaire and a learning outcome test. The data analysis technique used two-way analysis of variance. The results of the study are as follows: (1) There are differences in learning outcomes students who are taught with a learning model discovery learning with an average value of 85,919 higher than the learning outcomes of students taught by the learning model conventional on average 80,000, the analysis of variance results show Fcount value of 4.333> Ftable value of 3.22 and a probability or significance value of 0.00 <0.05, so H0 is rejected, (2) There is a significant difference between student learning outcomes with high learning motivation and the average85.07and students who have low learning motivation on average 57.81. Result of analysis of variance obtained Fcount value of 79.45> Ftable value of 3.22 and a significant value of 0.013 <0.05, so that H0 is rejected., (3) There is an interaction between discovery learning model and student motivation in improving student PPKn learning outcomes, analysis of variance results Fcount value of 8.807> Ftable value of 3.22 and a significance of 0.014 <0.05, so that H0 is rejected.

This study aims to determine the increase in motivation and cognitive and affective learning outcomes in the independence dimension through the PBL model in students at SMK NEGERI 4 TEBING TINGGI The study is based on a research problem, namely the lack of enthusiasm and motivation of students in learning due to inadequate methods, systems and learning resources, so I took the initiative to use the PBL method so that students are able to collaborate to unite interests and participate in group discussions independently or together. (insert some problems). This type of research is classroom action research with research steps, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection in each cycle. This study consists of two cycles. The research location at SMK NEGERI 4 TEBING TINGGI for class X students with the material I AM A UNIQUE PERSON The research time was carried out in September 2024. The data collection technique used a learning outcome test and an affective observation rubric for the independence dimension The data analysis technique used a quantitative descriptive technique. The results of the first cycle of research were that 3 students had only 25% success or only 1 person completed and 2 people had not completed 75% ). The results of the cycle II study are that at this cycle meeting there was a significant and very interesting increase because students were able to explore their potential in terms of examining information by watching learning videos and concluding well and structured with good sentences and language. 75% were very good and 25% were good. So this process can be said to be successful in obtaining learning outcomes and motivation if averaged out, it has been towards proficient at the end of cycle 2. In achieving the targeted motivation and learning outcomes of students, they have been able to reach the maximum threshold so that at the cycle 1 meeting it was clear that there were so many changes in students' interests and desires to get lessons that were also quite good, by holding group discussions, students were also able to provide responses independently to demonstrate the results of group discussions, increasing motivation and learning outcomes reaching 93.3%. From the results that exist that the PBL method has a very large influence on the motivation and learning outcomes of students both in terms of group discussions and independently. In the future, the school will implement learning with PBL comprehensively so that the teaching and learning process is more effective and efficient and has its own impression for teachers, especially for students at SMK NEGERI 4 TEBING TINGGI.

The shift of conventional learning media to more modern learning media is a must for the world of education to be able to adapt to the development of science and technology. This study was conducted to analyse the effectiveness of the use of game-based learning on motivation and student learning outcomes on the subject of camera movement techniques. Data collection uses tests to measure learning outcomes and checks to measure learning motivation. The data analysis technique uses normalized gain (N-Gain). The application of the game-based learning model also improves learning outcomes. The average value of the pre-test was 76.41 and increased at the post test of 90.28. Based on the KKM score, 37 people or 94.9% have completed learning. This shows that there is an increase in learning outcomes seen from the average value. The average value of normalized gain (N-Gain) is 0.60, so the game-based learning quizzes method is quite effective in improving learning outcomes. Teachers should reduce the lecture method by increasing the active play method.

The purpose of this study is first, to determine the increase in student motivation with the use of problem-based learning models. Second, to determine the increase in student learning outcomes with the use of problem-based learning models. Third, to determine the effectiveness of using problem-based learning models in increasing student motivation and learning outcomes. In this study, the research method used is a quantitative research method with an experimental approach. The quantitative method is a scientific/scientific method because it meets scientific principles, namely concrete/empirical, objective, measurable, rational, and systematic. The results showed that to find out the increase in student learning motivation, the researcher collected data by distributing questionnaires to students at the beginning of learning before being given treatment using a problem-based learning model, this questionnaire aims to determine students' initial motivation, then after being given treatment using a problem-based learning model problem, for the second time the researcher distributed the same questionnaire to find out the students' final motivation. From the results of the initial and final questionnaires, an increase of 33.5% was obtained. The effectiveness of using problem-based learning models is obtained from the results of observations made during learning activities, from the results of these observations it is known that many students are involved or active in learning

To increase motivation and learning outcomes, teacher needs various learning models. One of the learning models that can be applied is Team Assisted Individualization with Vee Diagram. This study aims to determine the effect of Vee Diagram on the learning model of Team Assisted Individualization in improving student's motivation and learning outcomes. In this research the research design used was quasi experimental design with non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest with the sample chosen based on purposive sampling. Population of this study was students with eight grade of 8 Junior High School in Semarang. Sample of this study were A class as experiment class and B class as control class. Motivation and learning outcomes obtained from pretest and post test. Student learning outcomes have increased significantly marked by was . This research was the result of research entitled Learning Physics in senior high school by Using the Cooperative Model Type STAD (Study: at SMAN 1 Tapen Bondowoso). The purpose of this research was to know the effect of using STAD on students' motivation in learning physic and to know wheter or not there was an effect of using STAD on the result of students' learning outcome in learning physic at senior high school. The population of nthis research was the tenth grade students of SMAN 1 Tapen Bondowoso. The design of this research was quasi experimental research post test only control design. The data was collected through students' motivation and students' learning outcomes by using questionnaire, observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the statistical results, it was known that the meann score of students' nmotivation and learning outcome in experimental class was better than the students' in the control class. The implementation of the "Merdeka Belajar" (Freedom to Learn) Curriculum faces various challenges, including in terms of curriculum implementation and adjustment. These challenges include changes in student learning patterns, the broader role of teachers, and efforts to meet the established educational standards. In the context of the Merdeka Curriculum, Catholic religious education in Indonesia focuses on developing students' understanding of religion, moral values, and Catholic spirituality, while also emphasizing the Pancasila student profile.The Merdeka Curriculum has also had impacts and posed challenges at SD Negeri Sawahan Surakarta regarding students' academic performance or learning outcomes. For example, in the cognitive aspect, when studying the Grade IV lesson on Developing My Abilities, the students' learning outcomes were unsatisfactory. Out of a total of 6 students, around 4 (67%) scored below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which was set at 75. In this classroom action research, the researcher focuses on the dimension of critical thinking, based on the importance of building strong character and mental attitudes in the younger generation, especially in facing complex global challenges. Creative thinking skills will result in more effective learning and develop higher reasoning abilities that can be used to solve various problems in learning. Students with creative thinking skills tend to have high intrinsic motivation, strong drive, self-confidence, and better thinking abilities. In this model, the teacher acts as a facilitator who helps students develop deep understanding and relevant skills through motivation, stimulating questions, and support for meaningful learning experiences. PBL focuses on common everyday problems, and its process involves problem identification, data collection, and the use of data to solve problems. The primary goal of PBL is to develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and knowledge acquisition, helping to improve students' learning outcomes and critical thinking skills in the topic of developing self-abilities in Grade IV at SD Negeri Sawahan, Surakarta.

This research aims to determine the effect of the project based learning model on student motivation and learning outcomes. in a pretest-posttest control group design. The research population was 75 students consisting of 2 classes at SMA Muhammadiah – 7 Serbelawan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample was 75 students consisting of 2 classes, Student motivation is measured using a questionnaire while learning outcomes are measured using a multiple choice test. Next, the data obtained were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis by carrying out analytical prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence in using the project based learning model on student learning motivation with a probability value of 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and tcount (0, 511) > ttable(1,666) and it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a significant influence using a project based learning model on student learning outcomes with a probability value of 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) and tcount 9,906 > ttable 3,122

This purpose of this study is to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students learning interest in class XI buffer solution material at MAN 5 Kediri, to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI buffer solution material at MAN 5 Kediri, and to describe the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student interest and learning outcomes in class XI buffer solution material at MAN 5 Kediri. The sample for this research was 33 students of class XI MIPA 1 and 35 students of XI MIPA 2 at MAN 5 Kediri. This research data collection technique uses a questionnaire method to obtain learning interest data and a test method to obtain learning outcome data. The data analysis technique used is statistical parameter data analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test and MANOVA test. The results of this research show that there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on students learning interest in the buffer solution material for class XI at MAN 5 Kediri as evidenced by the average posttest interest in learning class XI MIPA 1 is greater than that of class XI MIPA 2, namely 139,82 ≥ 129,23 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) experimental group, namely 0,000 ≤ 0,05, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, there is an effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student learning outcomes in class XI buffer solution material at MAN 5 Kediri as evidenced by the average posttest learning outcomes for class XI MIPA 1 is higher than class XI MIPA 2, namely 81,21 ≥ 68,29 and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) experimental group that is 0,000 ≤ 0,05, so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, there is an influence of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model on student interest and learning outcomes in class XI buffer solution material at MAN 5 Kediri as evidenced by the significance value of interest and learning outcomes being 0,000. The significance value show 0,000 ≤ 0,05, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.
