Burnout Risk Management Framework (BRMF) in Project-Based Organizations: Emotional Intelligence Systemic Lever

The study aims at showcasing the application of system dynamic (SD) methodology for developing 'system dynamics-based performance management model' where one of the Indian automobile manufacturing firms has been chosen as the context. Flexible strategy game-card has been used as a theoretical basis for developing the performance management system (PMS). The model emphasises looking beyond the dynamics of leading and lagging performance indicators and capturing dynamics of strategic interventions and firm's performance. The study adopts SD methodology, and it is tools as causal loop diagrams and feedback loops to capture dynamics of strategic interventions and lagging performance indicators. ISEE systems STELLA 10.0.2 software package has been used to develop the stock-and-flow diagram. The results of SD model simulation portray that introduction of new products in light commercial vehicles segment, and value-addition by training and development of staff lead to an increase in the sales volume, thus supporting formulated hypotheses. This study goes beyond the dynamics of leading-lagging performance indicators and highlights the interaction of strategic interventions/actions with firm's performance that enables managers to visualise systems perspective and feedback on actions taken.

The definition of «Emotional Intelligence» today is not just a modern concept in pedagogy and psychology. In today's realities, the idea of emotional intelligence is rapidly gaining popularity, because it is the subject of scientific research and observations. However, people have not always perceived emotional intelligence in a modern interpretation. Scientific sources indicate that reflections on the connection between emotions and reason date back to antiquity and, having gone through a certain path of evolution, have reached the modern understanding of emotional intelligence. The modern system of higher education in Ukraine sets itself the task not only of transferring academic knowledge, but also of forming a personality ready for self-realization and competitiveness in the labor market. This requires the development of not only «hard» (skills), but also «soft» (soft skills). Among the key «soft» (soft skills) skills necessary for higher education applicants include emotional and social intelligence, empathy, motivation, sociability, flexibility, etc. The purpose of the article is to study the evolution of scientific approaches to the study of emotional intelligence, which will allow us to trace its formation as an important scientific concept. The definition of the concept of «emotional intelligence» was carried out through the analysis and synthesis of scientific sources, which made it possible to systematize existing approaches. The historical method helped to trace the evolution of ideas, and the logical method - to reveal their current state and internal connections. In addition, the comparative-typological method allowed to identify common features and differences between different concepts. In the scientific article, the author traces the stages of evolution of scientific approaches to the study of emotional intelligence. Also, it is considered how emotions and intelligence were related in different historical periods. Analysis of the works of philosophers and scientists of different eras, from Aristotle to Daniel Goleman, demonstrates that the idea of the connection between emotions and intelligence has deep historical roots. It is proven that the study of emotional intelligence is a relevant vector for modern education and professional activity, since its formation has a positive impact on mental health, interpersonal relationships, self-development and success. The results of this research demonstrate the history of the emergence of the concept of emotional intelligence, what I understand by emotional intelligence, and also that emotional intelligence is critically important for success in almost all areas of life. It has a positive impact on: mental health, interpersonal relationships, professional activities, etc. Emotional intelligence is a relevant vector for modern education and professional development. Studying this topic allows better understandment of yourself, your emotions and the emotions of others, which opens the way to personal growth and greater success in life.

Objective: The objective of the paper is to investigate the influence of deployment of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools in a supply chain context. Methods/Analysis: The influence of deployment of ICT in Supply Chain Management (SCM) is studied using System Dynamics (SD) methodology using the tool, Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) using software Vensim. Findings: SCM discipline is grappled with dynamic and operational changes and challenges and this unpredictability can be understood better using SD. ICT capabilities fundamentally improve supply chain integration and performance. ICT adoption for SCM improves collaboration, workflow and decision-making which lead to cost savings; improved operational efficiency and inventory visibility. One process in SCM namely inventory control is described using SD. Introduction of a parameter, ICT capability dramatically changes the context and gives rise to new positive feedback loops Novelty/Improvements: The paper uses CLD for ICT influence on SCM process of inventory control. This can be extended for all supply chain management processes in both planning and execution. Case studies with the influence of specific ICT tools like RFID, Cloud, Social Media, Business Analytics, Mobile technology and Multi-agent systems are also possibilities for extending the study. Supply chain managers can deliberate on decisions, strategy, issues and policy by developing scenarios using SD tools and software packages. However the research limitation is that this is a simulation in a specific supply chain context. The growing concern for environment and pressing need for societal well‐being require organizations to encompass sustainability in their projects. This study attempts to propose an integrated systems thinking approach to attain sustainability in project‐based organizations (PBOs). An integrated approach consisting of viable system model (VSM), evolutionary game theory (EGT) and system dynamics (SD) is utilized to identify key organizational subsystems for achieving sustainability and analyse interaction patterns among various key personnel in PBOs. The proposed models are developed based on the data collected from two PBOs; thereafter, these models are validated through the data collected from eight PBOs (situated in Singapore and India). The outcomes of this study reveal key organizational subsystems that are required to achieve sustainability and differences in interaction patterns among various key personnel in PBOs, for these two countries. This study facilitates project professionals in identifying the best organizational designs to achieve sustainability in PBOs.

Purpose: The main purpose of this research is to highlights the problems in the various fields of Business Management, where SD can be applied effectively. Design/Methodology/Approach: This paper is designed to give a brief overview of the System dynamics (SD) methodology in terms of its foundations, foundations, philosophy and conceptual framework and it also tries to demonstrate the areas where the system dynamics methodology can be applied effectively to solve the different managerial problems in the various fields and levels of Business Management. : The present study is an attempt to find the effect of emotional intelligence on stress and how soft skills play a vital role in overcoming stress on Senior secondary students of Faridabad city of Haryana State . The Researcher had selected 600 senior school students giving representation to types of Schools Government and Private owned and on the basis of gender i.e male and female .The validated inventory of the emotional intelligence, stress and soft skill was used as a tool .The questionnaire contained 60 questions on Emotional Intelligence , 40 questions on stress and 50 on soft skills having five point scale from strongly disagree to strongly agree . Pearson coefficient of Correlation ,Mean ,T-test and ANOVA was applied to find relationship between various components of these three dimensions .The study found there is positive correlation between emotional intelligence and other two dimensions .It was found that private school students showcased markedly higher emotional intelligence compared to government school peers and female are shown higher emotional intelligence . The grade level of students, whether 11th or 12 th class ,did not impact emotional intelligence in any statistically significant manner. A crucial gender difference was also uncovered , with female students reporting experiencing markedly greater stress relative to their male counterparts across all domains. Objective To investigate the effect of risk management in operating room of primary hospital to prevent risk in surgical nursing.Methods Nursing-related risk event in 1,124 cases of surgery from September 2012 to May 2013 (control group) was retrospectively analyzed to investigate risk factors and countermeasures.Risk management was applied for 1,182 cases of surgery from June 2013 to February 2014 (observation group) to prevent risk in surgical nursing.Incidence of risk event,satisfaction rate of surgeons and risk awareness of nurses were compared between two groups.Results Incidence of nursing-related risk event was 16.10％ in control group,and 5.16％ in observation group; satisfaction rate of surgeons on overall nursing quality was 65.6％ in control group,and 91.7％ in observation group.Before application of risk management,general awareness of risk factors in nurses scored (16.25 ± 1.04),awareness of risk management (15.50 ± 0.93),attitude toward risk management (15.25 ± 1.04) and behavioral intention of risk management (14.75 ± 1.28);after application of risk management,general awareness of risk factors scored (22.00 ± 2.07),awareness of risk management (19.63 ± 2.13),attitude toward risk management (21.37 ± 2.33) and behavioral intention of risk management (21.88 ± 2.30).Conclusion Implementation of risk management in primary hospital can reduce surgical risk and improve quality of surgical nursing. In the world of health services, many risks may be used as legal cases, ranging from the arrival of patients' data collection until patients leave the place of service. Europe and America have characteristics of different types of malpractice incidents, and in Asia, there are both developed, developing, and underdeveloped countries. This study aims to examine and analyze the prevention of malpractice risk and the mechanism of malpractice risk at Friendship Center General Hospital. The research methods used are empirical and conceptual juridical research methods. Researchers use literature studies as a tool for collecting research materials. The results of the study found that Permenkes 11 of 2017 states that Patient Safety aims to improve the Quality of Service in health Service Facilities through the application of Risk Management in all Aspects of Health Services, which means that it is expected that with the application of good Risk management, the risk for complaints that lead to malpractice reporting in any form can be suppressed in such a way. Although the application of standard operating procedures in hospitals, the risk of malpractice complaints is still possible due to many things from various angles that cannot be explained in the regulations or cannot be explained due to other things regarding the ability of doctors/service officers to convey information about problems or obstacles obtained at the hospital including facilities and other unwritten rules, So even though it has been prepared in such a way, the risk still occurs.

Effective risk management is critical to the success of infrastructure projects. Although several studies in the literature have focused on various aspects of infrastructure project risk management, limited efforts have investigated the overall dynamics of infrastructure project risks and how dynamic risk interactions can affect a project schedule. This study, therefore, takes a holistic view to investigate the effects of dynamic risk interactions on a schedule delay in infrastructure projects. First, major risks that can cause a schedule delay in infrastructure projects are identified through a review of related literature and questionnaire survey. Second, the interactions among main variables related to infrastructure schedule risks are analyzed using causal loop diagrams. Both risk analysis and risk management are required for answering today's challenging construction project demands. The targeted result of combining risk analysis with risk management is a successful project, which satisfies the expectations of its stakeholders. This paper aims to assist geotechnical professionals with extending from traditional risk analysis towards risk management, by presenting some experiences and guidelines. These are derived from geotechnical practice and ongoing geotechnical risk management research, which actually takes place in The Netherlands. It also integrates professional experiences from a number of other countries, such as China, the United States, the United Kingdom and South Africa. The paper starts by defining and describing the concepts of risk analysis and risk management, while stressing that both complement each other. Risk analysis and risk management are blended in one geotechnical risk management framework: the GeoQ risk management process. The anticipated (financial) benefits of applying risk management are also highlighted. Next, some common barriers are presented, which may prevent geotechnical professionals from extending their activities to risk management. These barriers can be lowered, and under certain circumstances can even be eliminated. However, this will require the professional's motivation to apply risk management and the availability of at least some risk management tools. In addition, it is likely that some kind of training will be needed for gaining the attitude and skills for applying risk management. Non-geotechnical decision makers turn up in any construction project and they ultimately determine the amount of resources, such as money and time, to be allocated to geotechnical activities. By gaining risk management skills, in addition to in-depth geotechnical expertise, geotechnical professionals may become even better positioned to effectively communicate and implement their precious geotechnical expertise in any construction project.

Formulation of the problem. In recent years, the concept of «soft skills» has become an integral part of the global labor market in various sectors of the economy and society. International and national studies confirm the importance of universal skills, which are called «21st century skills». However, in practice, higher education institutions cannot always create conditions for their comprehensive development. Therefore, one of the main tasks of training students of higher education in modern conditions is to find ways for targeted and systematic development of soft skills. The purpose of the article is to assess the degree of development of soft skills of higher education students in the educational process and to justify the pedagogical conditions that can contribute to increasing the efficiency of their development. The results. The study of the degree of development of the sought-after soft skills of higher education students in the educational process was carried out using a developed questionnaire in Google Form. The questions were formulated so that students, based on their own opinion, determined the degree of development in the educational process of each of the proposed soft skills on a 10-point scale. Students of 1-6 years of study of V.N. Kharkiv National University took part in the survey. Karazina (87 people). The results of the conducted empirical research confirm the need for purposeful and systematic development of soft skills demanded by the modern labor market of higher education graduates. According to the students, such soft skills as stress resistance and flexibility, critical thinking, emotional intelligence and communication skills need the greatest development. Pedagogical conditions and prospects for the development of soft skills are related to the end-to-end implementation of complex measures in the educational process: filling normative educational disciplines with a clear theoretical and practical context for the development of soft skills; transformation of teaching, shift of emphasis towards innovative methods and forms of education, which contain potential opportunities for the development of universal competences of higher education seekers; deep awareness by teachers of their mission in the development of the required soft skills of students; introduction of interfaculty and optional disciplines such as «Soft skills - the formula for success», starting from the first year of study, which will gradually expand the range of universal competencies of the future specialist; introduction of soft skills by conducting mandatory trainings with students; the organization of a summer school that will specialize in the development of students’ soft skills, where in a relaxed atmosphere under the guidance of professional psychologists, coaches and other specialists, students will be able to acquire modern knowledge and the necessary skills. Conclusions. The obtained results confirmed our assumption that the educational space contributes to the development of soft skills among students of higher education in a fragmentary, «spot» way. The path to the systematic and planned introduction of soft skills in the educational space is very difficult and so far takes place at the level of individual disciplines. Therefore, there is a need for a comprehensive policy in this field. Pedagogical conditions and prospects for the development of soft skills are related to the end-to-end implementation of the proposed comprehensive measures in the educational process, which, in our opinion, will be able to provide high-quality training of specialists capable of acting in non-standard situations, making quick decisions, ready for self-improvement, positive communication and a healthy response to challenges society.
