One of the main concerns of today's world is energy; therefore, a mission for experts is to try to optimize energy consumption and to make sustainable development happen. The subject of the current study is the relationship between the today common architecture of Tehran's luxury buildings as quasi -neoclassical buildings with sustainable architectural goals. Therefore, in order to investigate the neoclassical views of the unrestricted statistical population in this research, neoclassical-style buildings of Tehran's region 1 have been selected.The sampling method for this research is a probabilistic one. For this purpose, 5 out of 10 areas in Tehran’s region 1 were selected randomly and sample size was determined according to the assumptions of the research statistical model and the sampling size determination formula. In this regard, three buildings with a quasi-neoclassical facade were randomly selected from each area. As the samples were selected, the principles of sustainable architecture were identified and a table was provided for the buildings whereas each principle held 5 scores. On this basis, each of the pseudo-neoclassical buildings each building was scored according to sustainable architecture and finally all of the buildings were analyzed by description and results were driven.The present research leads to finding answering to the following questions:1. Do the prevailing quasi-neoclassical buildings in Tehran conform to the principles of sustainable architecture?2. Does the prevailing architecture of northern parts of Tehran match the energy conservation laws?

Abstract. Not observing the balance of the architecture with the environment and nature in today’s architecture and city building causes some unpleasant results such as pollution of the environment, reduction of natural resources, climate changes and increasing reduction of energy resources. Paying attention to the climate conditions, human life environment ,introducing the different aspects of climate in architecture and building different urban spaces, passages, neighborhoods and buildings can be very important factors for making a healthy environment which provide comfort for human and not only cause energy saving but also entail building durability and making urban sustainable spaces. Therefore, the designers and architects try to find a suitable solution in designing environment friend buildings. One of these effective solutions is the issue about sustainability in architecture in which subjects like the environmental effects of building, green buildings, designing for recycling and so on are considered. So this research considers the criteria of a sustainable architecture which is compatible with the climate and environment in the city of Semnan as well as reviewing different bio environmental effects and aspects of the issue. At first, referring the library resources and collecting the required information from the synoptic stations of the city of Semnan, sustainability and principles of the nature and environment compatible architecture is explained by descriptive methods. Then, the conformity of the nature and climate compatible architecture is considered by the analytical and quantitative methods based on which the traditional architecture in the dry and desert areas like the city of Semnan is a sustainable architecture which is compatible with the nature and environment. From another hand, using the sustainable architecture and attending the natural resources and domestic materials in the different areas can not only cause energy saving in nonrenewable resources but also have the least destructive effect on the environment.

Word Travel Tourism Council (WTTC) in 2019 stated that Indonesia on averaged contributed 10% of per year. As a form of tourism, ecotourism has its own specificities that is promoting environmental conservation, the welfare of local residents and respect for local culture. So that ecotourism is much in demand by tourists, this is because of a shift in the paradigm of international tourism from the form of mass tourism to special interest tourism, namely ecotourism. The research objectives are (1) to determine the relationship between the role of community-based ecotourism and community economic conditions, (2) to determine changes in community economic conditions before and after the existence of community-based ecotourism. The method used in this research is survey method. The object of this study was the Head of the Mon Ikeun Village Family, Lhoknga District, Aceh Besar District. The number of respondents taken at 10% of the total population of 38 people. The analytical method used in this study is the Spearman Correlation Rank Test statistic, and the T-Paired Test, and descriptive analysis. The results showed that the role of Community-Based Ecotourism there was a significant relationship between the economic conditions of the community and the role of ecotourism. This is indicated by the correlation value of 0.651, which is included in the high category. Changes in Economic Conditions of the community before and after the existence of community-based ecotourism experienced changes in economic conditions with a Sig value: the level of significance of the relationship: Results 0,000 means significant at the 0.01 level. And for Sig. (2- tailed): Probability value or P test value T Paired: Result = 0,000. Meaning: there is a difference between before and after the existence of community-based ecotourism. Because: P value> 0.05 (95% trust). Mean: 84032.5 Positive Value: This means that there is a trend of changes in economic conditions after the community-based ecotourism. Correlation value between changes in economic conditions and the role of ecotourism results 0.811 means a strong and positive relationship.

Distribution system optimisation with intra-day network reconfiguration and demand reduction procurement

Throughout history, architecture has changed to reflect the increasing expressive capacities of ideas, elements, and structural systems as a result of this development, explains the development of structural systems as a result of the accumulation of construction and architectural experiences, and thus how structural thought transforms from a purely functional perspective. Structural tectonic to generate closed or semi-closed architectural spaces fulfills functional requirements and achieves structural and aesthetic conditions without sacrificing the role of shaping architecture and structural cohesiveness. The goal of the research is to investigate new architectural design methodologies emerging from the combination of tectonic systems and sustainable architecture to better understand tectonic architecture patterns in both traditional and digital forms. Tectonics organizes the analytical criteria for analyzing the constituent layers of architecture's formal structure in both designs and practice. By analyzing the theoretical and practical aspects and developing a clear mechanism to achieve a distinctive expressive sustainable architecture by integrating traditional tectonic factors in traditional sustainable practices and digital tectonic factors in technical sustainability, the study provides a conceptual framework under the theme of Sustainable Tectonics to define the formal structure of sustainable designs, traits, and layers detectable in sustainable architectural design. The study looked at key analytical features that may be utilized to analyze the underlying assumptions systematically. The analytical technique is a research strategy.

Testing the limiting coefficient of friction with an adjustable 3-V kinematic coupling

The rapid evolution of wireless communication technologies has intensified the demand for efficient and sustainable network architectures, particularly in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs). This study proposes an integrated framework designed to enhance MANET network lifetime through a structured workflow that combines energy awareness, trust management, and swarm intelligence-based optimization. The proposed workflow consists of four sequential and interdependent modules: Communication Behavioral Impact Rate (CBIR), Energy Aware Macro Channel Selection (EAMCS), Optimal Swarm Intelligence-Based Route Selection (OSIBRS), and Cross-Mutation Self-Scheduling Routing Protocol (CMSSRP). The workflow begins with the CBIR module, which analyzes communication behavior, traffic frequency, and node interactions to generate behavioral insights. These insights are then supplied to EAMCS, which utilizes them to perform intelligent macro-channel allocation based on energy consumption models, ensuring optimal energy utilization across the network. The optimized channel assignments from EAMCS serve as input for OSIBRS, which employs swarm intelligence algorithms to identify the most reliable and energy-efficient routing paths under dynamic network conditions. Finally, CMSSRP refines the routing process through a distributed self-scheduling mechanism that dynamically regulates transmission timing, mitigates congestion, conserves energy, and reinforces trust-based communication by prioritizing reliable nodes. This coordinated workflow establishes a closed-loop system where behavioral data, channel management, and routing intelligence operate synergistically to achieve enhanced performance. Experimental evaluation demonstrates that the proposed framework significantly improves throughput, reduces delay, and achieves a network lifetime improvement of 95.7% compared to conventional methods. The results confirm that the integrated energy- and trust-aware swarm intelligence framework offers a scalable and adaptive solution for next-generation MANETs supporting 5G and 6G communication environments.

Effects of incentives on psychosocial performances in simulated space-dwelling groups

Micro generations are becoming more and more feasible because of evolution in power electronics technology. This micro-generation comprises the photovoltaic, wind turbine, gas turbine, biomass, diesel generators, etc. A microgrid is a smallscale power grid that can operate independently or collaboratively with another small power grid. Microgrid contains renewable and nonrenewable energy sources. Because of the sudden change in climate conditions or electrical load power system faces voltage and frequency violation, a consequence power quality issues (related to voltage and frequency) may arise. This paper focuses on microgrid dynamics and mathematical expressions for change in active power to be injected or consumed by the grid in order to compensate changes. Increase in battery energy storage connected to the microgrid helps to increase the system inertia and to avoid violations. At the end of the paper, the bidirectional grid-connected inverter along with improved communication topology has been discussed.

This paper examines the benefits of a humanistic approach to research consultations with graduate students due to their unique research needs and lived experiences. Graduate students undertake complex, long-term research projects that require sophisticated information literacy skills and specialized support. Beyond these technical needs, graduate students often experience library anxiety and academic pressure stemming from their varied backgrounds, demanding lives, and a wide range of research knowledge and experience. Personalized, one-on-one research consultations offer an ideal platform to address both the technical and emotional needs of graduate students. By infusing research consultations with humanistic principles, including empathy, authenticity, emotional intelligence, and a counseling mindset, librarians can transform these interactions from mere information exchanges into meaningful relationships. A humanistic approach can help to reduce library anxiety, build research confidence, and create positive perceptions of library services. When librarians recognize graduate students as whole individuals with complex needs, they create supportive environments where students feel seen, valued, and understood. By embracing a humanistic approach to research consultations, librarians can enhance graduate student success and well-being while positioning themselves as true collaborators in the research process rather than simply technical experts or information gatekeepers.

The evolution of Web technologies leads to software premature obsolescence requiring technology-independent representations to increase the reuse rates during the development process. They also require integration into service-oriented architectures to exchange information with different Web systems supporting runtime interoperability. Web Applications (WebApps) run on devices with different capabilities and limitations increasing the complexity of the development process. To address these challenges, different proposals have emerged to facilitate the development of WebApps, which is still an open research field with many challenges to address. This paper presents a model transformation architecture based on software standards to automatically generate full stack multi-layered WebApps covering Persistence, Service, and Presentation layers. This transformation architecture also generates the set of test cases to test WebApp business logic. The proposed transformation architecture only requires a UML platform-independent class model as an input to generate fully functional Web applications in a three-tier architecture including the three layers, while most proposals focus on the generation of the Presentation layer. In addition, this architecture employs software industry standards to enable an easy integration into third-party tools and development environments. The transformation Architecture proposed has been empirically validated on the case study of a fully functional travel management WebApp that is generated using a UML class diagram employing a third-party tool integrated into the same integrated development environment.

The side chain of proline is made of an aliphatic five-membered pyrrolidine ring. The side chain is unique among protein-constituting amino acids in that its terminal Cδ is covalently bonded to the preceding pep tide bond nitrogen. The polypeptide backbone at this point has no amide hydrogen for use as a donor in hydrogen bonding. The pyrrolidine ring makes rigid constraints on the rotation about the NCα bond of the peptide backbone and drastically fixes the angle of rotation to approximately −58° (1). The conformational energy of a proline residue depends largely on the angle ψ of rotation about the CαC bond of the peptide backbone. The proline residue, when isolated from other proline residues in a polypeptide chain, has two energy minima at ψ=−55° and ψ=l45° (1). The bulky pyrrolidine ring restricts the available conformational space of the preceding residue in the polypeptide chain if its side chain extends at least to Cβ (1, 2). The peptide bond (Xaai−1Proi) preceding a proline residue, unlike those preceding other amino acid residues, might not be expected to have double bond character due to the lack of an imide hydrogen (3). The Xaai-1Proi peptide bond is more likely to adopt the cis rather than the trans configuration, compared with other peptide bonds (probability: 0.10.3 vs. <10-3) (2, 3). The difference in the standard free energy ∆G° between cis and trans Xaai−1Proi peptide bonds is on the order of +8 to −8 kJ/mol (1 J=0.239 cal) (4), and the activation energy for the cis-trans isomerization is about 54 kJ/mol, which is far less than 84 kJ/ mol for other peptide bonds (2, 3). However, the rate of the cis-trans isomerization is very slow for the Xaai−1 Proi peptide bond, with a half-time of 20 min at 0°C, compared with 1012 s−1 for other peptide bonds (3). The above-mentioned exceptional properties of proline impose significant constraints on the polypeptide conformation of proteins, their folding processes, and their functions (2-9). Thus, proline tends to be a conserved residue (2, 10). In 1988, the frequency of proline was determined to be 5.1 mol% among 1021 unrelated proteins of known sequence (11). This frequency is comparable with that (4.8 mol% among 393 unrelated protein sequences) reported by Chakrabarti and Pal (9). In 1982, we found a big difference in the proline content between oligo-1,6-glucosidases from Bacillus cereus ATCC7064 and B. thermoglucosidasius KP1006 (12). At that time, there was no report about the relationship between proline frequency and thermostability, except one made by Crabb etal. (13) on D-glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenases from the facultative thermophile B. coagulans and the obligate thermophile B. stearothermophilus. On sequence comparison, they proposed a proline residue in a solvent-exposed variable loop of the B. stearothermophilus enzyme to contribute to its higher thermal stability. In 1987, we found a strong correlation between the number of proline residues and thermostability (expressed as tm*) for five Bacillus oligo-1,6-glucosidases (2, 14-17). Based on this finding, we proposed a general principle for increasing protein thermostability, known as the Proline Rule (16, 18). The rule states that globular proteins can be thermostabilized by increasing the frequency of proline in the second position (i+1) of β-turns.† A direct proof for the proposal was given by Matthews et al. (19). These authors increased the thermostability of bacteriophage T4 lysozyme by replacing an alanine residue with a proline residue in one of the β-turns to decrease the backbone entropy of the unfolded molecule. From 1994 to 1998, we cumulatively thermostabilized B. cereus oligo-1,4glucosidase through stepwise addition of proline residues in 12 separate positions, namely, four i+1 positions in β-turns, four N1 positions in the first turns of α-helices, and four positions in coils (21). The validity of the Proline Rule has been confirmed by sitedirected mutagenesis on various proteins (21-44). Many findings correlating proline residues to thermostability have been reported in numerous proteins from microorganisms including hyperthermophiles (45-63). Directed evolution for protein thermal stabilization has been found to include proline substitutions (64-67). It is furthermore interesting that many psychrophilic proteins have a low number of proline residues (68-72). In 1999, Suzuki (38) proposed the Proline Rule in refined form. The Proline Rule suggests an evolutionary rule for protein thermal adaptation (38, 73-75) and a paradigm for engineering protein thermostability (19, 21-23, 38). This paper describes three steps that we have taken to examine and refine this rule (38).

Background. The study examines the transformation of the logistics component of enterprises’ competitiveness in the agricultural sector of Ukraine under conditions of spatial economic changes driven by military events and the restructuring of export infrastructure. The relevance of analysing export logistics channels stems from their decisive role in the resilience of agricultural production given changes in transport route configurations, increased risks, and the need to adapt to new geo-economic conditions. Purpose. This study aims to analyse the impact of the structure and diversification of export logistics channels on the competitiveness of the agricultural sector and develop an integrated approach to measure the logistics component of comprehensive performance. Findings. The study employs statistical, comparative analysis methods, and an index approach to assess the structure of logistics flows. The dynamics of agricultural production indices for 2014–2024, the structure of export logistic flows, and the share of transport modes in agricultural exports are also considered. The diversification index of logistics channels was calculated, reflecting the transition from a highly concentrated logistics structure to a more diversified one. A Logistics Competitiveness Index was also constructed, which integrates export volume, degree of diversification, and the share of alternative routes. The results demonstrated a transition from a mono-channel maritime model in 2021 to a diversified configuration in 2022–2023, which performed an adaptive function and contributed to the recovery of export activity. In 2024, the export volume increased to 70 million tonnes, 12.9% more than in 2023 (62 million tonnes). However, this occurred against the background of a partial return to a more concentrated structure of logistics flows, driven by the restoration of the maritime transport channel’s role. Implications. The competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in a transformed economic space is determined not only by the scale of exports but also by the structural balance of transport channels. Maintaining a multichannel logistics model is considered a key element of logistics innovation mechanisms to ensure resilience and long-term competitive advantage.

The evolution of a collaborative innovation network depends on the interrelationships among the innovation subjects. Every single small change affects the network topology, which leads to different evolution results. A logical relationship exists between network evolution and innovative behaviors. An accurate understanding of the characteristics of the network structure can help the innovative subjects to adopt appropriate innovative behaviors. Based on the resource-based theory, complex network theory and exploratory analysis of two typical cases, this paper analyzes the behavior rules of collaborative innovation network, and establishes the connection rule based on resource priority. Fully combining the stage-cooperation characteristic of collaborative innovation, this paper builds a network evolution model. Simulation experiments are carried out on network characteristics and evolution rules. The results show that resource priority connection conforms to the real situation, and is conducive to maintaining the continuous innovation network vitality, and thus has certain management practical significance for behavioral decisions of enterprise, government and so on.
