The results demonstrate nurses’ interpersonal professional relationships expressed in this digital application as well comparison between two periods. The period of “normal” activity and during pandemic.

The development of information and communication technology is increasing in accordance with the changing times and needs of today's society, so that almost any activity or work is already subject and applying information technology and communication. The development of information technology and impact to the world of education, so that the public interest to major in computer informatics include Computer Network, Audio Visual, Graphic Design, Information Technology, etc. continue to increase both the level of high school or college level. Many enthusiasts of computer majors resulted in strong competition for the graduates to get jobs, so it needs no efforts to improve the skills and graduate students majoring in computer that does not merely want to find a job but was able to create job. STMIK Kaputama continue to perform activities of teaching, research and community service, see the strong competition of graduates and the needs of society Binjai and surrounding areas, lecturer STMIK Kaputama feel compelled to carry out community service to improve the skills of students SMKTunasPelita and AbdiNegara in the form of training computer assembly, installation of operating systems and installation of local networks and the internet to build a network of internet cafes, offices and internet village in increasing independence. With their training computer assembly, installation of operating systems and the installation of local networks and the Internet, it is expected students SMKTunasPelita and SMKAbdiNegara can further enhance the skills and entrepreneurial spirit so that they are capable of self-employed at the same time create jobs specifically to be able to receive computer repair and network cafe, internet network of offices and internet networks into the village. In addition to their entrepreneurial spirit, especially rural society also helped that the acceleration of information and communication can be further increased.

In the literature on e-government, the focus is predominantly on the organization of the front office and on the interaction among governmental agencies and citizens (Chadwick & May, 2003; Edmiston, 2003; Tat-Kei Ho, 2002). However, in order for e-government initiatives to be successful, back-office streamlining also has to be taken care of (Bekkers & Homburg, 2005; Homburg, 2005a). In a sense, back-office operations are the backbone of any form of e-government, and they may require information exchange and knowledge sharing among various units, departments, or organizations. The e-government phenomenon occasionally has paved the way for stirring rhetoric of technological and institutional change. For example, Wimmer, Traunmüller, and Lenk (2001) predict that “organizational boundaries will fade and give way to innovative organizational design. In this way, cooperation between administrative agencies will span wide: over distances, across organizational boundaries and even across hierarchical echelons” (p. 1). Actual e-government applications, however, show that the practice of e-government may not be as attractive as some of its benevolent proponents might claim. Back offices can be regarded as networks of organizations in which goals necessarily do not overlap and in which interests may collide. In practice, in these networks, information is the primary medium of value and exchange (Davenport, Eccles, & Prusak, 1992), and relatively uncontrolled sharing of such a powerful resource threatens information monopolies and may provide those organizations who receive information with significant power gains (Bekkers, 1998; Homburg, 1999, 2001; Homburg & Bekkers, 2002; Markus, 1983). Consequently, existing dependencies in organizational networks might be affected, and it can be expected that the exchange of information in back offices invokes a complex mixture of cooperation and conflict (Cunningham & Tynan, 1993; Homburg, 1999, 2001; Homburg & Bekkers, 2002; Knights & Murray, 1992; Kumar & van Dissel, 1996). In this article, I address the following research question: What does the nature and dynamics of interorganizational relations mean for the development and implementation of e-government information systems, and what methods and strategies are used to design and implement these systems? The focus in the analysis is on the interorganizational relations that are mobilized through the integration of various back-office systems (Bekkers & Homburg, 2005; Homburg & Bekkers, 2002). In the remainder of this article, I analyze existing e-government initiatives and, more specifically, information relations among various back offices, using a political economy view on information exchange (Homburg, 1999), and I explore methods and strategies of ICT process management in policy networks (de Bruijn, ten Heuvelhof, & In ’t Veld, 2002).

The purpose of the study is to reveal the objective transformations that have occurred in information technology. Conceptualization of these transformations is also important. System, information, network and cognitive approaches allow to reveal the main aspects of the development of information technologies - technical and technological, software and hardware, network, communication, cognitive. The article considers the evolution of information technology. The relationship of information technology with its increasing role and importance of information in the life of man and society is analyzed. Information technologies are disclosed as technologies to create, store, record and process information. Technical and technological direction of information technology development is analyzed. The connection of the information technology concept transformation and development of the information society theory, in particular, the theory of post-industrial society, information society, network society, knowledge society and the digital world is revealed. The connection of the information technology concept transformation and the emergence of the media civilization and global information space is also revealed. The article shows that the development of information technology is an important factor in the development of the information society. Technology transition (the electronic computer as a machine) to the modern stage of development of digital technologies is characterized by the formation of a single technical and technological basis for the formation of the information society. The classification of information technology according to its application scope is proposed. Information and communication technologies characterize subject-to-subject interactions, among which pedagogical and political technologies are primarily distinguished. Information space is separate area of information technology application. Information processing technologies in the information space are the basis of modern democratic discourse. An important area of information technology is the information sphere. Information sphere is the sphere of information activity, information exchange and information relations, the regulator of which is the information law. Information security technologies ensure the protection of human rights, society and the state in obtaining objective information. Cybersecurity technologies protect critical infrastructure. The technologies of reality – virtual, cognitive, and augmented – provide the ability of a person’s consciousness and thinking to process and create new information. Identifying the social significance of the technical and technological development of information technologies becomes the basis of recommendations for the implementation of a strategies for the formation of the information society in Ukraine.

The evolution of new information technologies in the last two decades has fundamentally changed the way society interacts. Computers can be found in many applications and the exchange of information via computer networks solves problems which were difficult or even impossible to solve without the use of modern information technology. Decentralized production as well as office systems, via electronic information exchange are good examples of how the organization of transactions changed due to the existence of computer networks. In general, companies use the information network for coordinating the production and distribution of goods and services more effectively. Another prominent example is the Internet. It enables the worldwide exchange of information at relatively low transaction costs. One of the most significant uses of the Internet is in the field of commerce. Many goods and services can already be bought on the Internet and are accessible worldwide by customers. Information services produced in one country can now be exported to any country without incurring extensive transaction costs.KeywordsElectronic CommerceTransfer PriceOrigin PrincipleDestination PrincipleTaxation PrincipleThese keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. Perhaps you are a doctoral student, mapping out how to parcel your dissertation; perhaps you are a junior scholar, strategizing your research plan; perhaps you are a senior scholar, who is thinking about what you want to say to the field. No matter what stage you are at as a management researcher, you might be looking to the Academy of Management (AOM) journals as a natural home for any and all of these creative research pursuits. However, it might not always be crystal clear how you should craft your work for the AOM journals, what contribution you might make at each journal, and consequently to which journal you should target your intellectual contributions.

PurposeThis study aims to theoretically discuss and empirically investigate to what extent the interplay between the domains of knowledge complexity (managerial, strategic and operational) facilitates firm performance and the role of organizational resilience in this relationship.Design/methodology/approachThis paper uses primary data collected from 102 European small and medium-sized firms (SMEs) in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain and the UK during 2012–2015 and 2010–2020. This study corrects for potential data disclosure and technology adoption bias in two survey ways.FindingsFirst, compared to other acumens of knowledge complexity, managerial and operational acumens contribute most the most to a firm’s performance (sales and productivity). Firm resilience positively moderates managerial skills and negatively moderates inter-organizational collaborations. Taking SMEs and their inter-organizational relationships, skills and resilience in focus, considering that they are transitive organizations whose business model is based on innovation and productivity to outcompete larger counterparts it is found that resilience and agility in SMEs are important to leverage the effect of knowledge complexity on firm performance.Research limitations/implicationsOne of the limitations of this study is that SMEs are expected to face more problems in achieving organizational ambidexterity with all three acumens, as they have restricted managerial expertise, less structured procedures and fewer resources than larger firms. In addition to regression analysis which is limited in answering “how” and “why” knowledge complexity is managed within and outside a firm, future research will consider a mixed-method approach of both interviews with high growth SMEs and online surveys. To unveil the role that firm resilience in SMEs and in the volatile environment, future research may focus specifically on firms that lack resources, skills and time, however, continue innovating, commercializing new knowledge and create new jobs.Practical implicationsOne of the most important mechanisms which facilitate the managerial acumen was found to be information technology (IT) investment and management decision-making, exploitation of new information and communication technology trends and markets, innovating business models and driving change management, innovating new mobility and digital technologies, as well as use inter-disciplinary staff and knowledge to influence external stakeholders. The most relevant elements of the operational acumen of knowledge for performance in SMEs are various mechanisms and forms of inter-organizational collaboration such as collaboration on business and IT applications and infrastructure, administration and operations with data and information exchange, collaboration on data availability, accumulation and exchange.Social implicationsThe findings call for innovation policy to account for the need for interactions between various elements of strategic, managerial and operational acumens of knowledge complexity in SMEs. Prime support should be focused on facilitating inter-organizational collaboration and providing “soft support” in the time of agility and adversity. This paper founds that lack of budget, skills and resources would significantly affect a firm’s resilience, potentially “locking in” within an organization.Originality/valueFirst, it emphasizes that the returns from inter-organizational collaboration as part of the operational acumen of knowledge complexity depend upon the firm’s ability to manage infrastructure, mobility and data. The relationship is negatively moderated by firm resilience, which means that the most resilient firms may focus on the exploitation of internal resources and substitute it for inter-organizational collaboration. Second, this study demonstrates that SMEs’ growth and productivity strategy should be management skills and competencies driven, rather than strategy-driven, with strategy facilitating managerial decision-making on business and IT.

Computer networking is an emerging and fascinating field of study. A computer network allows communication and exchange of information between two or more independent computers and other devices. Computer networking is based on the related discipline of electrical engineering, computer engineering, and computer science. Nodes and Links constitute the basic building blocks of the computer network. An equipment for data communication or equipment of data terminal that connects two or more computers such as modem, router etc. can be exemplified as a network node. Links include wires, cables or free spaces of wireless networks. Working of computer networks relies on a set of defined rules or protocols. The network structure can be composed of various patterns known as network topology. Various networking models are developed that relies on various networking layers made of different protocols. In modern times, the importance of computer networks is remarkable in almost every areas including education, entertainment, business, military, healthcare, insurance, transportation and others. With so much reliance on computer networking, it becomes important to ensure a safe and secure networking system and thus network security system was developed such includes firewall, VPNs, IDS and IPS, etc

The article presents an autobiographical narrative approach to the genesis of the first Brazilian device for ongoing teacher training through information technology, known as the Emerging Technological Information Dissemination System (SDITE). Launched in 1987, during the transition period between the Military Regime and the Democratic Regime, through an initiative funded by the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (Capes), SDITE was reconfigured in 1992 under the name Latin American Data Communication Network for Technological Education (RedeLET) and, in 2006, became the basis for the e-Tec Brazil Network, which aims to expand and democratize access to public, free technical high school courses through digital networks, through collaboration among the federal government, states, the Federal District, and municipalities. The article brings to light little-known or even unknown facts from the history of Educational Computing in the country and evokes the conceptual foundations of SDITE, which already indicated several innovative perspectives that are currently prominent when it comes to exploring Digital Information, Communication, and Expression Technologies (TICE). SDITE, adopted from 1987 to 1996, followed by RedeLET, adopted from 1996 to 2006, and more recently, the e-Tec Brazil Network, inaugurated in 2006 and still in full operation, together constitute the longest-running experience of ongoing teacher training mediated by TICE in Brazil.

Problem statement. For the organization of digital communication networks in the range of meter and decimeter waves, as well as when providing communications based on them in hard-to-reach areas, problems arise related to maintaining the stability and continuity of information exchange between the switching nodes of the ground infrastructure. The existing approaches to solving these problems are based on the use of means of retransmission using radio relay stations and individual flight-lifting equipment. However, with limited deployment time, in emergency situations and when performing special tasks, these approaches are unacceptable for a number of objective reasons. Therefore, the search for ways to improve digital communication networks in the range of meter and decimeter waves is relevant and has important scientific and practical significance for ensuring the stability and continuity of information exchange by ground switching nodes in a given area. Purpose. To develop a structurally stable model of digital communication networks in the range of meter and decimeter waves based on a group of unmanned aerial vehicles, ensuring the organization of continuous information exchange of ground switching nodes in a given area for the required period of time. Results. Based on the results of the research, practical recommendations are formulated for their use to solve the problems of organization, restoration and redundancy, as well as the operational build-up of digital communication networks in the range of meter and decimeter waves for a given time interval in unfavorable operating conditions. The prospects for further research in the organization of the structural contour of the complex multi-circuit adaptation of digital communication networks for various purposes are determined. Practical significance. The results can be used by specialists in the field of satellite radio navigation in the development of local navigation systems.

This paper explores how the needs to exchange information across organizational boundaries in the Architecture, Engineering and Construction, and Facilities Management industry in Finland have been satisfied by means of stakeholder integration at the technical, business and socio-organizational levels. We interviewed practitioners about their motivations and goals for inter-organizational integration and observed different discourses. The information exchange needs in the context of individual building projects were often described as “addressed”. These needs focused mainly on managing complex stakeholder relations or handling the variable conditions with other building projects. In the scope of the whole built environment lifecycle, the needs were rather portrayed as ongoing problems still “unaddressed”. Existing information sources remained inadequate when the benefits of inter-organizational integration had not yet been clarified. The process workflow discontinuities demanded better understanding of the value of information beyond design as well as better coordination. The uncertainty of how much data to collect and for what purposes can be mitigated by defining “useful minimum” information exchange between stakeholders.

Cardiac rehabilitation and primary care: Bridging the two solitudes

The article is devoted to the definition of the month and the role of information technology in the activities of judicial authorities. It is established that information technology is a set of methods and tools designed for effective work with information. Regardless of how technologies change or how they are used in various spheres of public life, their main purpose remains unchanged - to ensure the collection, processing, accumulation and use of information. It is substantiated that the integrated use of information technologies in the administration of justice is considered to be one of the key elements of a significant improvement of the functioning of the judicial system of Ukraine. The possibility of online access to court registers, information on the stages of court proceedings, and electronic exchange of legal documents are just a few examples which have become possible due to the introduction of information technology into the work of domestic courts. This type of technology can be used to increase the transparency and accountability of the judiciary, thereby helping it to perform its functions and duties in a more efficient manner. Modern technologies allow judges and court staff to access large electronic databases, including case law and regulations, which greatly simplifies and speeds up the decision-making process. The ability to use e-mail and other digital communication tools has ensured efficiency and convenience in the exchange of information between all participants in the judicial process. Another important achievement is that citizens can now apply to the court electronically, making justice more accessible and convenient. This innovation reduces barriers to going to court, speeds up the process of submitting documents and allows participants in the proceedings to track their progress in real time. Thus, information technology not only facilitates the work of courts, but also makes justice more transparent, accessible and efficient, which ultimately increases public confidence in the judicial system as a whole. The use of information technology together with the Internet has opened up the judicial system to the public.
